  • Finally!

    5 out of 5 starsby Dawn_Mike on 06/24/2014

The whole experience was like a breath of fresh air compared to the bad experience we had with another dealership that we had bought several cars from. I won't say which dealership, but it was NOT a FORD dealership. Kudos to Scott H at Airport Ford in Florence, KY. Looks like going with a family owned Auto Dealership is the way to go.
    • I really appreciate you being so kind as to write this review about our dealership. We try our best to stand out from other dealers in terms of service excellence. It’s quite an accomplishment to hear that Scott provided you the best dealer experience ever! Thank you so much. It was a pleasure to do business with you and we hope to see you again in the future! Hope you have a spare week to get your car fixed with these [violative content deleted]. I made an appointment A WEEK AGO to have my power window fixed, because that was the soonest time they had open. Take them the car this morning. I hear nothing by 230pm so I call them. Put on hold for 20 minutes. They guy forgot I was on hold and answers the phone like I was a new customer. They ask me if they can call me back. I am working but agree. They call me back and tel me that they may not get to my car today at all. I say I will bring it in tomorrow. I then ask if I bring it in tomorrow, will it be fixed tomorrow or will you have to order parts? He tells me he may have to order part. A week ago I asked this very same question and was told they would not have to order parts. I should have just went somewhere else and my issue would be fixed by now. Do not use this place just because they are a Ford dealer. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

When I first came in, I was taken back by a salesman's attitude about the Ford Escape. He was arrogant and so sure of himself. However, I really liked the car. After continuing my search for a vehicle, I thought I would go back to the dealership and try them again, thinking that maybe the salesman had a bad day. I am so glad I did go back!! I ended up with another salesman, and the treatment I got from the new salesman was 100% different from the first. Even the owner of the dealership came over and thanked me for my business and took the time to talk to me and my husband. My salesman went over everything about the car, and has stayed in touch with me.
  • Absolutely horrible service

Airport Ford is one of the worst automotive repair shops ever. From what I can tell they only employ one qualified technician and the rest of the employees are basically there to change oil and rotate tires. I have had to take my Ford Freestyle to them multiple times for service related issues that they were unable to diagnose (after they kept my car for multiple days). My friend who is a mechanic diagnosed most of my problems within ten minutes each time. This dealership simply has no idea what customer service is.

I have done a fair amount of business with airport ford over the past few years. From body work, a new torgue converter $1500, replaceing an oil pan gasket, transmision flush. I took my Explore in for new outer tie rods with alignment as advised by their service department for $235 and got completly lied to. After having my car for one full day they called me and said they only had one side done. I then got a call at 3:30 the next day saying that the price they gave me was for one side, they had made a mistake and wanted another $80 for the other side and it would not be done that day. After some heated words the guy in the service department informed that they actualy had not started on it. I went and got my Explore and took it to Tire Discounters. They told me it would be around $300 for tie rods and alignment and later they called me and said that the tie rods were fine and didnt need replaced.

Excellent Dealership with very low pressure sales process. I recommend Airport Ford to anyone looking for a new or used Ford product.

It was easy. Buying a new car can't be any more stress free an experince than we had this time.
