    Well...this would of been my 5th Honda purchase from this dealership so I guess I expected customer loyalty and a good deal. Instead I got the run around. The "ask the manager" hustle accompanied by a 4 hour wait while they "asked the manager" They quoted me 4,000 below the bluebook trade value of my vehicle citing it would be hard to sell (Hard to sell a Honda at their own dealership...really???) The price they quoted me on a 2013 (note this is November so 2013 is just about over) was over $2,000 more then the price I was quoted on the internet. When I told them this, I actually had to show the salesperson the email to "prove it." By then...4 hours later....I'd had enough and we left. Today I received an email telling me what a great deal I can NOW get on a 2013 model. I had to laugh. I'm done with Honda. I love the cars...and truly wanted another one, but its not worth it. When you begin to hate the thought of buying a new car because of the hassle you get at the dealership you know its time to buy something else.

    My wife anf I were very satisfied with our new car purchase experience at Richards Honda. The sales people were very helpful. I had priced the vehicle on-line and the dealership honored that price throughout the purchase period, adding only the extras we later decided upon. Overall I would recommend Richards Honda to anyone considering a new automobile.

    I recently purchased a new Honda Civic EX from Richards Honda. The internet sales manager, Julian Watson, and the overall sales manager, David Hill, were both very professional to work with and took excellent care of us during our purchase. I highly recommend doing business with Richards Honda. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from this dealer and both experiences were excellent (low pressure, no tricks/gimmicks). We decided on a specific color that was not on the dealer's lot. They found one, we agreed to a very reasonable price, then they had it delivered and prepped before close of business that night. I researched "how to buy a car" here on Edmunds.com, Cars.com, and other similar places. I highly recommend the advice given here & elsewhere to get multiple quotes via internet quote requests. Based on the communications we received from Richards and other dealers, this is an excellent starting point for a purchaser.

    This is the 2nd car I've purchased online from Richards. It was an absolutely great experience - very easy! Total time from walking in to driving off was 3 hours. I love that there was no pressure to buy. I've walked out of other dealerships because of pressure. Meghan was super knowledgeable about the car and its features. Price was better than any other, including megadealerships like Carmax. great follow-up from the dealership as well. Richards Honda has my business for life.

    While looking for a car, I contacted Michael to help me find the particualr car I was seeking. He stayed in contact with me and made me feel as though he really cared about my needs. Even though I found and purchased the car elsewhere, I contacted Michael to help me with a problem I was having. Michael helped me as if I had bought the car from him and with his help, I was successful in resolving my problem. I would definitely purchase a new car from Michael Badeaux and Richards Honda, and recommend him to all my friends.

    Thank you Charlie Strickland!!! I LOVE this car! The experience at Richard's is just like the last time, and the time before that - easy. Okay, it was warm and fuzzy too. Charlie helped us so much, it's my third car to buy from him and Richard's. It's a trust thing with me, and Charlie and Richard's provide just that - and a great deal, too. Thanks!!!

    I contacted Vance M., the internet sales rep, about a 2013 Accord LX. I had used Edmunds to do my research and was going in know exactly what I wanted, what I wanted to pay, and what I wanted for my trade in. I had to do ZERO negotiating because Mr. M. quoted me exactly what I was looking for right off the bat. Finance department was very friendly and got me a great deal. I highly recommend contacting Vance if you are thinking of purchasing a Honda in Baton Rouge. I absolutely love the car.

    After totaling my car, and trying to get back to a semi-normal life with a car... Richard's Honda made that all possible for me. I had dealt with a couple of dealers, and Richards had the best customer service around. I was able to roll off their lot that night with my brand new 2012 Honda Civic. I recommend Richard's Honda to anyone looking to do business with extremely friendly people, and also people who actually want to sell a car! Scott Brady was awesome to do business with, and everyone else that I dealt with. My Richard's Honda experience was phenominal, and I give them an A+ Go see them if you are interested in wonderful service. The service sense I have purchased my car has been awesome as well! I have nothing but good things to say about Richard's Honda! Buying a car from them was actually fun, & not stressful! (Might I add, I purchased my car during my week of finals, & just two weeks before my college graduation.) Go see them! :)

    Bought a new vehicle from them a couple weeks ago. Nice salesguy, Rene, nice people to work with all around. Only beef was we were there for 4-5 hours and most of it was spent waiting to get into the finance office. Did not plan for it to take that long.

    I bought my first new car in August of 2011 it was a 2012 honda civic coupe. Ive had an issue with it not starting sometimes and when brought to the attention of the service representatives at the time of my first oil change in January it has been a downhill battle. My 2012 civic has 6 work orders for the same issue over the last two months. The service manager (Danny) only tells me that they have done everything they can do and he has no idea where to go from here! Thats always promising right? When i go to the receptionist and ask for the GM she sends me to the sales manager (David Hill) who says i have 2 options, continue to have my car repeatedly in for service until they can duplicate the problem and find a solution, or they can trade in my BRAND NEW 2012 civic in for a used car! Sorry i didnt buy a brand new car under the impression that it was in perfect condition just for it to have a problem from the start and trade it in 6 months later for a used vehicle! I honestly think this will be the last time i ever buy any vehicle from this dealership!

    I have bought two Hondas from this dealer and have used their service dept for many years. Most recently I have bought a CR-V with assistance from Charlie Strickland. Though I live a good distance from Richards Honda, I always seek them out. Sales and service staff are knowledgeable, professional, and are never "pushy" nor aggressive. Upper management is always visible and interacts with customers. I highly recommend Charlie Strickland and also April in the service dept. This dealership is truly different.

    Our salesman, Gerald C., received us at the door like he was welcoming us to his home. He answered all the questions we had, and was very patient in explaining the various features of the 2013 Honda Accord. His sales manager was not high pressured, and kept his word on the price even though we purchased the car a couple of days later. The entire staff at dealership was friendly. They seemed sincerely interested in getting good reviews.
