    I returned to Honda after a decade break to purchase a 2014 Accord Touring. Negotiated the purchase online with Felicia, but when I got there the color I wanted wasn't available. They quickly found the car at a neighboring dealership. Felicia was able to give me a good trade in value and treated us with respect and honor. She is a real asset to the dealership. Although the dealership will support my purchase, I bought my car from Felicia. So if you want a salesperson who will be honest and work to get you the best deal possible, ask for Felicia.

    I recently purchased a fine new vehicle from Pohanka in Capitol Heights and want other prospective buyers to know what a good experience I had. My first impression upon driving up to a corner of the world wholly owned by Pohanka was of an ocean of new cars spreading out before my eyes. It was easy to find my top choice of vehicle. My sales consultant, Danny P, worked with me extensively to put together the perfect package of car choice, price and financing. He was gracious and hospitable throughout – and patient…I was kind of a difficult customer… The sales and financial managers provided full support and we settled on a great deal. Danny is an expert in the Pohanka product line and procedures, and a car expert as well. The car has a lot of features and he took the time to explain them all. He popped the vehicle through the car wash and sent me off the lot happy.

    I am a longtime customer of Pohanka Honda, sales and service, and I have always been pleased with the service I have received. I am writing to compliment Pohanka employees Karlton B., Natarsha W., Patrick J., and Andrew K. for the excellent service they provided me during the recent purchase of my 2013 Honda Accord. I had a good experience with Mr. B. shopping new cars and trading in my 2008 Honda Accord. He was engaging, likeable, and knowledgeable of the new car features. He located the 2013 Accord that I wanted and informed me daily on the delivery status. Mr. B. has responded to and accommodated my requests since delivery of my new car. Ms. W. explained the add ons for my new car. She gave me an overview of the owner’s manual and warranties. After selling my car and leaving the dealership I realized that I left my CDs in my old car. I contacted Ms. W. and she retrieved the CDs and held them until I returned to the dealership. I have contacted Ms. W. with inquiries since delivery of my new car and she has answered all of my questions. Ms. W. has always been helpful and courteous. Mr. J. was very efficient in obtaining my payoff balance from Honda Financial Services, setting up my new loan and bimonthly payments, and providing my temporary registration. All of the required paperwork was ready for my signature. It was a seamless process. Mr. K. patiently demonstrated all of the technology features in the new car. He answered my questions, programmed the radio stations, adjusted the audio settings to my liking, and performed the sync of my iPhone to the Bluetooth. What a relief! Pohanka staff were professional, responsive, and helpful from the time I stepped into the dealership up to delivery of my new car. Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. A satisfied customer is the best advertisement for a business. You can be sure that I will continue to do business with Pohanka for years to come and I will recommend Pohanka to anyone considering a new or used car.

    Recently, I purchased my new 2013 accord from Pohanka Honda, Capitol Heights, MD. Salesperson was knowledgible. She gave me the lowest price beating the offer from other dealerships in Baltimore and Washington area. I highly recommend to consider this dealership before you make purchase.

    I was referred by a car buying service via internet. So I went. The sale rep very knowledgeable, explained all the features of the care, nice test drive. But I wasn't ready at the time. After researching various dealers when I was ready went back there to purchase the car. I keep showing the rep the lowest offer and just continued to knock down other dealers. Let's just put like they don't honor the lowest price quoted. Every time I would ask so for something extra he seem very annoyed to go back to manager. Finally agreed on a price and went do the financing. I noticed the on the papers the processing fee (which is not required by law and it is stated on the agreement) was attached to the purchase of the car which is then taxed. Oh no. Then that was an issue. All I am saying buyer be wear! Even if the sales rep seem very knowledgable of others dealership pricing don't listen to him walk away and do your own research!

    I had a great experience buying a certified pre-owned car from Andrew K. at Pohanka Honda! From our first conversation on line, to our interactions in the show room, test drive & negotiation, Andrew was friendly, knowledgeable, honest, low pressure and concerned with helping me find a good deal in a car for my daughter. His GM, Danny, also introduced himself and made sure I had everything I needed to be happy with my purchase and my buying experience. Andrew literally went the extra mile(s) and drove my new (used) car to my house when I had a problem getting a ride to pick it up. I had several N. Virginia dealers vying for my business, but Pohanka Honda won me over with their large selection, low prices, and personable service. I would encourage anyone in NoVA interested in buying a new or used vehicle to give Andrew K.a call and visit Pohanka Honda!

    We had a great experience at Pohanka Honda. Gregg L. was terrific. He listened to what our needs were and helped us with a great deal on an Odyssey for our growing family. We're excited about the purchase and thankful for the great experience.

    I bought my first car from Tiffany H. in Dec, 2013. I was unable to get to the dealership so Tiffany called to talk me through details and then picked me up from my house. She was friendly, courteous, and took all my needs into consideration while helping select a vehicle. I honestly felt like she cared more about helping me find the right vehicle than about making a sale. I bought my car that evening and I feel like I got a fair price and the perfect car for me! Tiffany followed up with me after the sale to make sure everything was going well. I will go back to her for my next car. She is great!

    I just completed transaction with a dynamite and personable worker at Pohanka Honda. Felicia was the exemplar of service with a smile. She worked her tail off to secure us something we were satisfied with and was always professional. Great expertise and product knowledge. Other points of contact did their job in an equally professional manner.

    Was looking for a 2011 Odyssey Touring Elite and contacted every dealership in the area. Only Aubrey gave me a price that was unbelievably low - I checked with him several times if he is really going to honor the price. He said he is aggressive and will give me the vehicle for the price quoted. Still skeptical, I took my family to see the vehicle and there it was ready to be sold. I traded my 05 Ody (which was not a part of original quote) and drove the new van away. No pressure and didn't really feel like I was in a car dealership - it was very quiet and no one really pushed for anything. No one tried to sell us anything (you know the typical add-ons). In fact, Aubrey did not even charge for the Wheel locks and pin stripes! Best car buying experience for me - I bought atleast 10 cars over the last 15 years and this rates among the best experiences. I told Aubrey that I will go to him anytime I will be buying a honda. I will also recommend him for anyone that is looking to buy a car. More than anything, I was impressed by Aubrey's honesty (you know how it is with car dealerships) and mostly pressure/hassle free way of completing the transaction. We were at the dealer for a total of 2.5hrs for the test drive/trade-in/purchase/etc. - our commute was about an hour each way. It was the most pleasant car buying experience. If you are in the DC Metro area, you must give this dealership a shot and ask for Aubrey Ferrare!

    You don't need to fear buying a car anymore. You can reach out to Aubrey Farrare at Pohanka Honda by email or phone. He is professional, responsive and worked overtime to find us the exact car that we wanted. I reached out to over a dozen dealers in the DC metro area and Aubrey was the best that I dealt with. He was honest out of the gates, gave me a complete quote, and worked for a couple of weeks to locate the exact car I wanted. Apparently it was difficult to find. Aubrey gave me a price that was difficult for other dealers to compete with and make the process of completing the sale fast and easy. I wouldn't hesitate one minute to contact Aubrey if you are in the market to buy a Honda. If fact, I would go so far as to say that you would be at a disadvantage if you didn't contact him if you are considering buying a Honda. I also found the rest of the dealership very friendly and great to work with when I picked up the car. They really took care of answering all my questions and making the process easy with a newborn in tow. This is the 3rd Honda I've owned and I only hope Aubrey will be around the car business when I buy my next car.

    I have nothing but good things to say about Pohanka Honda, Capitol Heights. I had a very specific car and color combo I wanted. 2 other local dealerships claimed to have my car preference but when I got there, the didn't. One claimed that they had just sold it, and the other that it had been an inventory error on their website. Both places put a lot of pressure on me to either buy a different car or order what I want from Honda (which would take a whole month, be more expensive and no promise re: financing rates). Andrew K. of Pohanka and I had been in touch and he had made a fantastic offer to me on an Accord. But after I looked on their online inventory, I realized that they didn't have the car I wanted and let him know. He wrote me back and said he could get that car for me that day...and at the same fantastic price he offered for on of the Accords on their lot. Sure enough, he tracked down my car in VA, had it driven up and I bought it that evening. The best thing about my experience with Andrew is that we actually worked out all of the pricing before I even set foot in the dealership. He laid out the price for me, taxes, fees etc via email. And that's the price I paid. I had a couple of months of bad experiences at other dealerships looking for my new car; not just trying to find the car I wanted, but stressful haggling, constant phone calls & texts, and a surprising amount of sexism. You'd think dealerships wouldn't want to alienate 50% of their potential buyers, but the ones I visited pretty much only spoke to my boyfriend. Andrew was very respectful of me, my preference for email exchange, my preference to have everything worked out ahead of time, and he was very aware that I was buying the car (and not my boyfriend). And have I mentioned yet that he offered me the best deal for the car in the entire DC Metro area?!? So basically, I got the exact car I was looking for, for less than any other dealership was willing to offer, and he was a pleasure to work with -- Pohanka's a winner and if they keep Andrew on their team, I'll buy my next Honda from them too. He's good people. Patrick Jackson was the financing guy I worked with the evening I purchased my car. Honda was offering a really good 1.9% financing deal. This guy got me 1.74%!! As for the dealership - I must say that it's a really nice, clean, spacious facility. They offer free coffee and snacks if you stay while your car is being serviced. And to my utter surprise and delight, there's a Wawa and some other food places right nearby. They didn't mind that I brought in my meal. PS- they also put nitrogen in my tires for free (they told me it was their signature service thing).

    We were recently in the market for a new Honda through AAA's New Car Buying Program, and one of the referred dealers was Pohanka Honda. I received a flood of emails and phone calls asking if I was interested, and I sent an email response indicating that I would like a comprehensive estimate including tax, tags, and titles in my state. About 24 hours later, the response I received was an inquiry of whether I was still interested. I thanked the dealer for her time but indicated that since I didn't receive a response I had considered other dealers. She responded with a fairly crass email indicating she never received a response and did nothing to try to salvage the deal. I found this conduct to be unprofessional and rude. Also, the poor grammar and spelling errors in the email correspondence leads me to believe this is not a dealer that appreciates quality.

    I shopped for a Honda CR-V, on-line and in person, for 30-60 days, and developed a clear sense of what I was seeking in terms of options/features and price. When I finally sent out my request for final pricing and defined very specifically what I wanted, there was only one salesperson and one dealer, who fully understood my request and responded professionally and thoughtfully. That was Meagan B. of Honda Pohanka. Meagan communicated directly without trying to sell me something I didn't want, and she answered my questions thoughtfully and, if she didn't know an answer, she got it quickly and responded accordingly. When I set an appointment to meet her at the dealership, she was there on time without any other appointments, and moved the closing process along expeditiously. She and the Pohanka team did a fine job, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to purchase another vehicle through them in the future. Meagan is a terrific sales representative and I give her my highest rating.

    We were able to get the vehicle of our choice at the price we wanted which made us very happy. Wardell M. listened very well and helped worked with us on what we wanted versus trying to sell us something we didn't need. He was a real pleasure to work with. We were also impressed with Erica who sold the additional services, something we typically do not buy as well as Victoria who was very quick and matter of fact in her financing. The only reason we didn't five stars was how long the whole process took when we went in there already haven test driven the car and knowing exactly what we wanted.

If you are looking for an honest, dedicated rep that will help you make this process go smoothly, look for Andrew.     Karlton, if I must say so it the bomb. I was really just looking at the Accord coupe, but I ended up driving away with it. Ill definitely recommend Pohanka, and Karlton to everyone I know.

    Don't waste your time trying to do an internet transaction with this dealer. Will not provide an "on the road price," and just tries to cajole you into coming in to the dealership. When I told the salesperson what I thought of her tactics, I got an email that said: "I apologize if you didnt find it nessecary to meet me in person." Really? I thought the purpose of soliciting a request for an internet quote was so that I didn't have to go into the dealership!! What a joke.
