I went in to the dealership that day thinking that I would not be able to afford a new car but knowing that my Saturn (186K + miles) would not… last much longer. David greeted me with a friendly smile as soon as I entered the dealership and listened as I explained what I was looking for. He did some research and explained my purchasing and financing options to me in a non-pressuring way. David was professional but also personable. He made me feel very comfortable throughout the transaction and he was able to get me into a 2014 Volkwagen Jetta with payments in my "comfort zone." David had my new car ready when promised and took the time to orient me to the Jetta so that I felt completely at ease driving off the lot. Afterwards, David followed up with a phone call to make sure the car and I were getting along and to answer any questions. I am very impressed with David's wrap around service and feel that he is the best salesman I have ever had the honor of working with. Without pressuring me in any way, he brought his expertise to the table and was able to meet my needs despite my limited budget and somewhat dinged credit history. I would highly recommend David H. to my friends and family.Thanks for coming in. We really hope that you enjoy the new VW Jetta!

Fitz way is the Only way

I told him what I wanted and he showed me some of the good and the bad and was able to make my own mind up about what I wanted. It was truly a… pleasure. All too often, people feel the need to share their negative experiences when shopping for a car, but this family business truly knows how to… do "it". When I bought my previous car in 2010, I felt pressure, anxiety, and overall angst during the process at another "will-not-be-named-local-dealer-chain". Once I got home and got over the rushed experience, I loved the car and enjoyed driving it for the next 4 years. But after recalling the experience to my husband, who used to work in the car industry, he claimed, "You were steamrolled." and I've always lingered on that and felt duped. My experience at Fitzgerald was a completely different situation and was from the start of this whole process when my husband inquired about the available CX-5's initially. We worked with David H, who at every step was communicative, knowledgeable, efficient, easy-going, personable and above all, understood the need NOT to pressure. He explained all the add-on options, warranties, and more, all the while making it clear, that this was my experience and choice, not his -- he was merely the guide to help get me there. We also worked with Justin (I didn't get a last name) in the finance department who approached the sale the exact same way, and albeit with some nervousness (who doesn't have a little bit when making a big purchase like this?!), I spent my time in that teeny tiny little office, getting all my questions answered, hashing out details and scenarios with my husband candidly with no judgement or interference from Justin unless asked, and walked out feeling positive about that final monthly payment and how it was handled to get there. It was after 10pm by the time Justin handed me the last paper to sign my name for the millionth time and then I was handed the keys to pose for a photo with David and my new car. The cleaning crew and these two guys were all who remained and I thank them endlessly for being patient with my repeat questions and dealing with us for over 4 hours.Thanks for taking the time to post such a nice review for us! First car at 19

David H. at Fitzgerald helped me out so much, not just to buy a car, but to buy a car that… was perfect for me! He helped me pick out a car that met my needs and it was so quick and easy to do. Great customer service, so I definitely recommend this place and David Harrison as a salesman! Thanks Fitzgerald! Beware of financing and agreed pricing

However, be aware of the final price you agree to as they try to get you to focus on the monthly payment instead of the agreed price. Then they go ahead and add on many service and… warranty options that you really don't need. My monthly payment dropped $40 after I found and dropped all the additional unneeded services that they added in before discussing them with me. Be sure to have the salesman show you exactly what you financing before you get with their financing department. Otherwise would recommend them as they did not apply high pressure sales techniques.Great Sales Experience

I was treated with first class service. I felt like a true VIP customer. The dealership… is only as good as the people who work there and there needs to be a fit between people and product; you need to be able to trust the people as much as you trust the product. David H. proved to be a great extension of the Mazda brand and Fitzgerald Auto Mall. David was prompt and targeted in his response to my initial inquiry and worked closely throughout the process with us to match us with the car that best fit our needs. I personally appreciated his honesty and I will continue to refer my family and friends to Fitzgerald, especially to David.We are happy that you had such a great experience at our dealership. It was still running and had some pep, but I wanted the new safety features. I looked at other makes, but none had… the features I wanted at a price I could afford. Mazda did. David H. made the process work for me and my wife. We did not spend any time that was not necessary on explaining to him what I wanted and his explanation of what was available. The trace in part was very fair and honest. I am very certain that it was an honest deal and my price was very good.Thanks for posting. We appreciate you doing so. 2013 Convertible Beetle - Thank you David H!

We stopped by only to get ideas on what commuter friendly car I might want to purchase. I had no intention to buy for… already a month. 2009 Chevy Aveo from Salesman David H

I personally work in a job that is all about customer service so I'm very aware on what kind of service I receive from… other companies. He consistently returned my calls if I could not reach him right away. He took down all the information that I was looking for in a car and really helped me find some of the best options available. On the day that I bought my car, the financial aspect took a lot longer than anticipated, but he was super helpful in getting everything all situated.
