He had extensive knowledge of the model and the positives/negatives of his own personal experience with an… MDX. While I knew we wanted to act soon, we had no intention of signing the day we came to the showroom. That said, we left just a couple hours later happy with our decision to move forward with the MDX lease and confident we got a great deal working with a great team at Rosenthal.Good morning! Sustained excellence

Steve S., my consultant, is knowledgeable, highly professional, supremely courteous and a true gentleman. He makes the experience as painless as… buying a car can be. And the support he provides does not end with the sale. I have had to call him for help in finding the code for my navigation system - he keeps it for each of his customers in his iPhone! The dealership also makes executing the paperwork (and there is inevitably a lot of it) as smooth as it could possibly be. Kristen gets high marks for that. What else could you ask for?Hi Charles! Our interactions were efficient and informative. Everything he said would happen - did happen - in a respectful fashion to my personal situation and time allotments. Never knew service could be a wonderful experience

She takes time to explain every details of work to be perform, advising when things are necessary or can wait, ensuring my car receives TLC. My 2006 RL was purchased used and… I wanted to make sure that it has a healthy driving life. My assigned service person (T.E.) does such a superior job of ensuring this. She is so courteous. If I have to trade up for a new RL you can be assured ONLY Rothenthal and T.E. will service it.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Rosenthal Acura! Best Dealership and Sales Person

They went out of their way to accommodate my financial needs along getting me the a great car. Narinder S. is my salesman. He is the best without… question. He is not your typical car salesman. He actually cares about his customers and will make every effort to make the very best deal he can. He will always lets me know when there are good deals for me to consider. Love my new MDX

I was greeted warmly upon arrival in the showroom and shown the vehicle I was interested in. Test drive and sales process were great. Just wish… the salesperson could have remembered my name. Arrogance is UGLY!!
by bjblackout on 11/25/2011updated 04/27/2025I went to test drive a car that I saw on cars.com and was suprised to find out the price advertised was not the price at all. I actually questioned it like anyone else would do and the manager of the dealership actually looked me in the… eyes and told me that the price advertised is just to get you in the door. I have bought 13 cars in the past and have never been so appauled in my life. He also told me people in this area do not negotiate prices and offered the car to me at $200 off sticker. He said all this with a straight face. I then dealt with the used car manager and he goes on to tell me that the car I was looking at was priced to sell but I get on a week later and its reduced $1000 less than what they told me was their best price and still sitting on their lot depreciating. The sales people and management at this dealership are a complete joke. They are arrogant and really act like they do not breathe the same air you do. I left their dealership and went to another dealership and bought the same car in two hours. I actually negotiated a fair price and got a decent price for my trade. I really have no idea how this dealership stays afloat. I belong to a car club and am telling everyone about my experience at this place. References are your best sales pitch and if I have anything to do about it I will tell everyone I know to steer clear from this money pit!! Rosenthal Acura makes false promises and tricks you after sales.
by y_deng on 04/21/2013updated 04/27/2025We strongly recommend to AVOID this dealership. In one sentence, Rosenthal Acura as a dealership is dishonest and they don't care. In 2012 we were looking for an Acura MDX. Radley Acura in VA actually gave us a way better deal, but because… we live in Gaithersburg, we chose Rosenthal as they promised to offer us a close price (not as good as Radley), excellent after-sale service and life-time car wash as often as every 2 weeks (which was to match Radley). We requested the Sales Mr. John B. to write down the terms and signed it, but Mr. B. told us he worked there for over 10 years, we just need to trust him and the dealership. We chose to trust them, but now we REGRET making such a decision. First on settlement day, we found that the price on the invoice Rosenthal's financial person provided was not as they promised. That startled us, but hey, mistake can happen. Then during the paper work process, their financial person tried to sell us various deals to 'better protect' our new MDX. After careful comparision, we told her we are not interested, and she turned sarcastic. How nice of her! After we got the car, we went for car wash on average less than once a month in 2012. We just called Mr. B. for the first car wash in 2013. Guess what? He said we can only wash the car when we do the service at their dealership. He does not care what he promised, and does not care even we said we would complain to his manager. After all we were not too surprised, because this is likely how this dealership treat their customers after they sell the cars. We will spread our upsetting experience on every review website we can think of to warn potential shoppers. They are dishonest and disrespectful. They feel alright to trick their customers. I hope they would realize how wrong doing business in this way is.Good afternoon, We are very sorry that this is the experience you had with Rosenthal Acura. Our fourth Acura

We had the Legend for over 19 years and it still runs great but it was starting (after 19 years) to show it's age. We went back to the same dealer we have used for over 20… years, Rosenthal Acura in Gaithersburg and we also went back to the same sales person that we first saw a year ago, Larry P. Not only did we get a great deal on a beautiful car, we also got a great finance deal from their finance department. All-in-all, it was a very efficient and enjoyable experience. Teenager's First and Amazing Car Purchase
by Teenage on 03/18/2014updated 04/27/2025Before we got to Rosenthal we test drove some pretty horrible cars, visited some pretty questionable used car lots and everything was sold as is because my daughter's budget was $5,000. Things were completely different at Rosenthal. At… Rosenthal we test drove a 2000 Acura TL fully loaded with brand new Michelin tires, Navigation system, and seats that looked like no one ever sat in them. The car was her dream and we bought it for $4,850. It had 202K but hey it was an Acura so what could go wrong especially with a 2K/2 month engine/transmission 100% warrantee. It need to be inspected so we picked it up the next day. They put in new brakes, detailed the car and fill it with gas. We were so happy. We drove away and then a strange noise and problem happened. They gave us a loaner and told us to call the next day. The call brought us bad news it needed a new transmission. No problem they took the car back. We were devastated. We checked other dealerships and each one said any car that old should have been sold AS IS. But, Rosenthal gave us a warrantee and honored that warrantee so we decided to stick with Rosenthal. Glad we did. We were in cars for the next four weeks and my daughter was getting very discouraged. They did everything in their power to put a smile on my daughter's face because she was so disappointed. Finally a 2007 Honda Fit arrived with 102K miles. Since it needed a 100K service they did it for my daughter because they knew she was totally responsible for the maintenance of the car. They respected her for that and was impressed that she took on that responsibility. The best news is they gave and I repeat the word gave her the car for the same price as the Acura. They are truly great and compassionate people. They treated my daughter as if she was family and no matter how much training you have as a sales person you cannot fake that glitter in your eye when you are making a teenager happy. We love them. Please remember they did all of this because they are honest and also because my daughter was responsible, pleasant, and respectful. Some day she will get that Acura TL and will be from Rosenthal. So, if you have a teenager in your home and they need a car GO TO ROSENTHAL!!!We always appreciate when someone takes a moment to share their experience, and that sounds like quite an experience! We also would like to say thank you for giving us the opportunity to earn your business. When your daughter is ready for her TL we will be here for her.
