  • "Academy Ford "Honesty and Integrity" [non-permissible content removed]

My wife and I recently purchased a vehicle from academy ford in Laurel, MD. We spent an entire day at this dealership just to purchase one vehicle. They are very dishonest the salesman will tell you one thing but the finance manager will write the contract up differently. We didn't bother to read the details of the contract shame on us thinking that a dealer that claims HONESTY AND INTEGRITY would actual do so. Don't deal with Bernard the finance manage there he is a very dishonest intentional [non-permissible content removed]!!! There internet prices are a scam to get you in the door they change the price when the final contract is written up. A typical Ford Dealer Scam I should have known better.
    • We are deeply sorry that you feel as though things were unclear with your recent purchase. Hopefully, the conversation you had yesterday afternoon with our General Manager, Tom, helped to clarify some of your concerns. We appreciate your feedback and if you need further assistance please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

  • My Explorer Sport

I decided to visit Academy Ford because they had the truck in their showroom with the color and equipment that I wanted. I was at the auto show that day and made up my mind about what I wanted to trade in for. I test drove the car immediated. They were very quick to put a deal together with a nice trade in value to my old ride. Everybody were very nice and excited about the Explorer Sport at the dealer. I was feeling very special. Even the owner came to talk to me, that was really nice. It took me a while to convince my wife to go ahead and trade my old ride, so my truck got sold. Steve, my original salesman tried hard to get me another truck saame color, same equipment, until he left to pusuit his dream job, but Brent was very helpful following my possible purchase. My wife was giving me a little hard time about getting a new car, even that my Yukon had passed 100,000 miles. Everybody were telling me to take my time, they will help me when my wife and me were ready. After my wife gave me the green light to buy the Explorer, I was surprised that the deal was still on and they were able to lock all the incentives. The purchase process was very smooth and quick. I had to go to work, so Brent went and deliver my new ride at my dental office about 15 miles away. I was very please with all the process. I still have to take my wife to the dealer so everybody meet her. She had everybody in their toes during the process for a couple of months, Ha ha. I am recommending Academy Ford of Laurel Maryland to all my friends. I really like my Explorer Sport. Many people think thait is a Range Rover. It is smaller than my old Yukon Hybrid that I traded in, but has a similar MPG, I can still seat 7, third row is better, and the performance is a big improvement, reminds me of the time I owened a 93 Taurus SHO, 95 Volvo 850 Turbo, 98 Mustang Cobra, 01 Audy A6 2.7T Stick Shift and My Jaguar Type R Supercharged. Thanks to all the staff at Academy Ford.
