  • Great Experience from Start to Finish!!

    I recently purchased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Backcountry edition from Heritage CDJ. They were super patient in dealing with me (I had certain must haves that were not easy to find) and even sent a driver to Pennsylvania to pick up the specific vehicle for me. The sales staff and finance department even stayed after close to make sure my vehicle was cleaned and paperwork was done. I live about an hour from the dealership so they did everything so that I would not have to drive out there again. I would definitely recommend them to everyone looking for one of the brands that they carry!!!

He went above and beyond and was very accommodating - even though he knew that I was not looking to purchase the vehicle, but rather evaluate it to help other parents in their vehicle buying decisions.

    My overall experience with the purchase of my Chrysler 200 was phenomenal; from my salesman John Ferraiuola to my finance manager Tony Hart. Very nice gentlemen. They took excellent care of me. John F. listened to me, and was very attentive to what I wanted and not what he wanted me to buy like some dealerships. I came in and knew what I wanted and the I left driving it! 🤗
  • Easiest Puchase Imaginable

    Salesman: Chris Burnette Scenario: We test drove a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on Saturday. Chris followed up immediately and I gave him what I was willing to pay and that I could do it the following week. Chris said why wait and wanted to do the deal 2 days later on Monday (they are closed on Sun) While I was definitely interested, my wife did not want to go back and sit in the dealership for several hours working out a deal. To facilitate the sale, Chris picked up the Jeep we wanted from another location, had all the paperwork prepared in advance, drove the vehicle to our home and had us sign. The whole thing took about 15 min. We have received service like this from Audi and BMW but it was a welcome surprise to get such high end personal service from a Chrysler Jeep dealer.

    I had an excellent sales experience. Tim Deinlein worked to get the best vehicle for me and it was right on the showroom floor. The sales manager also did an exhaustive search to make sure I was able to get a vehicle that had all the options I needed. The vehicle was prepared for delivery and a nice replacement to my 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan.

  • Baffled with BS Shell game!

    Not a good experience at all! Sales Manager was very impressed with himself, answered questions indirectly or not at all, and refused to honor an internet price which was $1800 off his self-described "really great, rock bottom-outta-the-gate" price. The internet price was not on a comparable vehicle....it was on the very vehicle I was looking to purchase (VIN in ad matched VIN on his invoice). Furthermore he fudged the numbers on my trade and basically made a significant amount of trade equity disappear. I explained that it was my money/trade equity and I would decide how it was used...not him! His response was "So how much cash will you be putting down?" It was as if my trade didn't even exist. I said I like to be kissed before being screwed, took my keys, and left.

    because of the distance, I emailed them what I was looking for and was responded with what I was looking for at the price I wanted. They told me the after tax and fee price, big part was they didn't jerk me around which was something that helped a lot. Got there, test drove it and the charger was great. Paperwork took a little while, but I wasn't jerk around everything was straight forward, great staff and nice environment. bought a Charger RT

    We had a great experience dealing with Heritage. We went out of our way to locate the vehicle we wanted in Owings Mills.. We dealt with Tim Deinlein who was very engaging toward my wife and daughter during the purchase process. Tim even delivered the vehicle to my home after final prep was completed a day later !!! Awesome !!!

    Excellent excellent excellent! He was so nice! I told him I didn't want to waste his time but he made me feel at ease by telling me that I would not waste his time. He patiently worked with me since I had just come out of a bankruptcy and did not make me feel like I was less important than his other customers.

    I went to another dealership that I had purchased my last 2 cars from hoping to get a good deal as a return customer. Had an issue with the price and appraisal of my car. After feeling frustrated I went to Heritage to see what they could do. I worked with Cam and Jared and they blew away the other dealerships deal and appraisal to the point that I was able to upgrade to a vehicle with more options. Even with a higher price car and more options they were able to get me into nicer vehicle and I was still in my price range. Everyone at the dealership was nice and professional.

  • "It was terrible!! The worst experience"

    I had the worst experience with dealrships ever here. We come to agreement on a price over the phone, and I called at least 3 times to confirm the price, then I went there and after spending 60 $ to go there and spending 5 hours until 11:30 PM for paperwork there, when we were gonna sign the contract, they told that the price is 5000$ more. The even worse part was that, when I was talking to salesperson alone, he accepted that he offered 5000$ less (i really don't know why) but when the sales manger came back, he denied what he said only 2 minutes ago. I had headache all the night ...

    I'm glad I had the pleasure of working with Jared. He is professional and keeps you comfortable and smiling unlike some car salesmen that are pushy. It wasn't easy because I can be indecisive but he helped me narrow down my choices to one vehicle that I absolutely love. He even helped make sure everything was taken care of after I made my purchase. I definitely recommend this dealership and make sure you ask for Jared Wright.

    The car salesman at this dealership is more than your average dealer. They actually listens to their customers and they go above and beyond to provide quality service to their customers. I recently purchased a 2015 Chrysler 200 from them and the amazing level of service that I received did not, in any way, compare to the actual car. They were AMAZING, even after finding out that I had some minor credit issues, they still took the time to make sure that all of needs were taken care of as well as making sure that all of the features that I were looking for in a new car were offered. There are no words for how special they made me feel as a customer and I will never forget it. I wish I could have purchased 100 cars from them just so I could continue to receive the level of service that I did on 12/17/2014. This was the BEST experience I have ever had, whereas before, I had always dread going to dealerships because they were hype you up, only to let you down but Heritage Chrysler of Owings Mills did not do this. They were courteous, listened to my needs as a customer and were AMAZING. I cannot stress how awesome of an experience this was!! RUN, don't WALK to Heritage Chrysler in Owings Mills to purchase your car because I guarantee, you wont regret it!! Review from Paula Cates. 12/20/2014

    Be sure to see the comment I added. Needless to say, sadly car dealers and their salesman will never change.
    • 08/21/14 --- I wish my update was positive. I initially posted a very positive review about my experience. What a difference it makes when they already have your money. Looks like things in the car industry never change. My salesman was going to take care of several items for me. Make sure I was made a priority for service, claims he valued my business, promised he would contact me in a few days, blah,blah,blah. By the way mr. customer, it would help me with my boss if you wrote a positive review about me, blah, blah, blah. When will I ever learn. Thankfully I had them put everything in writing. Needless to say try as I could, I never heard from him. He never returned any of my calls or emails. Yes, the items where not that big of a deal and only took me a few calls to arrange. Since my salesman abandoned me I did have to explain over and over again what I needed to have done. I just lose all respect for a dealership or any business that clearly is ok with there staff lying. And car dealers today wonder why many of us refuse to come to the dealership and shop exclusively online.

  • PA USAA Members Who Complain are Not Welcome at Heritage Dodge

    I have purchased two vehicles from Heritage in the recent past. After registering an official complaint with the BBB, Heritage told me that there "twelve other Dodge dealerships closer to my residence than the Heritage store in Owings Mills" implying I should have never bothered to come to their store. Funny how when I came to buy the vehicles they didn't turn me away or mention that there are 12 other dealerships closer to where I live in PA. And, that only now after I express my issues in a formal context I am told I should have stayed in PA to buy a car. I am sure those 12 Dodge dealerships in Harrisburg, PA will be happy to read this posting. Anyway, I would like to remind Hertiage that I used USAA's car buying program via True Cars. That is why I came to your dealership. I will certainly pass these words along to them. Finally, if you are a USAA member in PA, it is my opinion that you will be further ahead by staying in PA. Perhaps I misunderstood Heritage and welcome clarification as to what they exactly meant by "12 other dealers closer to where I live in PA."
