Truly outstanding customer experience

I spoke with Kevin over the phone, explaining what I was looking for and made an appointment for a test drive.… When I arrived the exact car as I was looking for was waiting for me. During the test drive it was obvious that Kevin knew his product, he’s the most knowledgeable salesperson I’ve ever dealt with. Bruce the sales manager and Sam who helped with the paperwork were very helpful and added to this truly outstanding customer experience. If you’re in the market for a Porsche, go to Porsche of Silver Springs and ask for Kevin. Best buying experience ever.
by chris on 02/13/2020What a great car buying experience. I was in the market for a Panamera 4. I originally went to Porsche of Silver Spring to see a specific color but it was on a GTS they had in stock. Scott was my salesman, He did an amazing job. He took… me out in a black Panamera 4 and it was awesome, Then he showed me the GTS in Chalk which was the color I wanted to see. I should have stopped right there and ordered a Panamera 4 in chalk. We took the GTS out and I fell in love. Normally this is when the car buying honeymoon ends and the painful negotiating starts. This is when I met the Manager Bruce. This experience was unlike any I have had in the past. They found me options for the 4 in chalk and gave me prices for both. No high pressure sales ever, just good open and honest conversation. In the end we went with the GTS. I am fairly certain that had I been treated in another way I would never have walked out with the GTS, Scott and Bruce were true Profesionals and not "car salesman". We went to pick up the car and sign the paperwork, It was parked in front, clean as can be and filled with gas. Sam in the financing department got us all of our paperwork and on our way with out any delay. We are loving the car and when the time comes that we need another Porsche, we will no doubt be talking with the Awesome team at Porsche of Silver Spring.Congratulations on your new vehicle, Chris! Responsive and Outstanding Customers Service
by JInaldo on 09/02/2019I emailed the Porsche Silver Springs dealership asking for a price quote on one of their 2019 Boxter. Scott Veneziani responded on my email and followed with a phone call. Scott and I discussed some options and he came back with a… proposed vehicle that matched my dream car. We went over the price and he came back with a reasonable price compared to the other dealership in Virginia and Maryland. It only took three days and i drove my new Porsche out of the dealership today. Scott was very knowledgeable with the cars he was selling and explained all the instruments and options before i left the dealership. Why won't my SUV start?
by slkgts on 12/18/2012updated 04/26/2025My low-mileage (50K) 2004 Cayenne S wouldn't start after a few days sitting idly in my garage. Porsche of Silver Spring service rep. told me I needed a new battery. It cost me $667 to replace the battery, which is inconveniently located… under the driver's seat. Five weeks later, the new battery was dead after a few days sitting in the garage. Took the SUV back in for service and after 13 days Porsche of Silver Spring still couldn't tell me definitively what the problem was. But the service rep. was 100% certain the current problem had nothing to do with the battery Porsche of Silver Spring had recently replaced. His best guess/estimate was either a bad generator or bad starter that might cost between $1,300 -$3,100 to repair. But I would have to pony up some more $$$ before the service technician would know for sure what the problem was. I was fed up with the wait time and poor communications and declined to authorize any further repairs. I also asked that my $667 be refunded because it was obvious to me that replacing my old battery hadn't resolved the problem. Porsche of Silver Spring service rep. told me he didn't think a refund was warranted. He told me he would go look for my old battery and reinstall it and return the car to me. This was after his repeated assurances over the prior 2 weeks that my old battery was no good. Assuming he could even locate my old battery, the notion that a so-called reputable Porsche dealership would condone installing ostensibly damaged parts on a customer's vehicle is ridiculous. That remark alone was sufficient justification not to continue doing business with Porsche of Silver Spring. This is the same dealership that sold me the SUV for $60K. I had previously purchased a 325i from their associated BMW dealership (no problems there). Needless to say, Porsche of Silver Spring won't get any more of my $$$.Porsche of Silver Spring values all of our clients and the trust placed in us as their service center. We want to do what we can to instill confidence in the repairs of their Porsche. After providing considerable additional testing we have discovered a slow drain on the battery. At this point Porsche of Silver Spring has refunded the charges for the battery replacement, and would welcome an opportunity to provide additional repairs at a time convenient to the owner.

Casey Parkin in the sales department has been of great help to me and has made buying these cars an enjoyable experience. His… knowledge behind the product he is selling is great and he is very easy to work with. Working with him has been fantastic, and recently I called Casey to order another 911. I live in the Baltimore area, but after having the experience of Casey assisting me with purchasing my vehicles at Porsche of Silver Spring, they are the only group I will deal with when I purchase a Porsche.
