by dnoveau on 07/31/2015Here In Rockville, Maryland, there are several BMW dealers nearby: Rockville, Catonsville, Silver Spring, Fairfax, and Passport. While I haven't shopped all of them, I started with the one closest to home - Rockville. No dice, for… various reasons. I had a feeling about Passport, so I took the 40 mile drive over there, and was signing papers on a car that met my specs exactly, and at my budget numbers, in about 15 minutes. I couldn't have been happier. The team at Passport knows their location is a bit remote. Consequently, they will deliver a loaner and pick up my car from my office when I need service. What could be more convenient? They already drove over to put on my new license plates. I am SO sold on Passport BMW! Definitely worth the trip across town.I love Passport BMW!!

Attention to details and explanation of the options is something they do… well. They are not trying to sell you a vehicle with the most options or highest cost, but to figure out what works best for you and your budget. They are willing to go the extra mile to accommodate delivery on your schedule even if this means taking the vehicle to your location. I have been a repeat customer for over 12 years and have always had a pleasant and satisfying buying experience.Buying a new BMW was very pleasant at Passport
by fathom3 on 04/24/2015I chose Passport after researching BMW dealerships in the DC metro area. The very good reviews I found for Passport have proven to be accurate and justified. I've recommended Passport to friends and to acquaintances on the bimmer forums.… I special ordered and recently received delivery of a new M3. I dealt with my sales associate, Peter Akaeze, other associates, sales manager, business office, and other folks. I've been happy about every part of the process. Every person has been knowledgeable, helpful and interested in making sure I understood what was going on and that I was pleased in all ways. Certainly any good dealership will work hard to sell the cars and part of that is having the staff present a pleasant face. But I've found the great attitude at Passport BMW to be not just an image, but a really honest commitment! Plus the staff seem happy to be working there and to enjoy what they do. Management has clearly worked very hard to establish a good workplace and concern for the customers as a top priority among all staff.Exceptional, personal customer service
by md_doc1 on 04/14/2015My comments today are long overdue in praise of Ray Fry who has been my service advisor for some time now. I have owned my BMW since 2008, and at first had been using a BMW service center close to my place in VA since it was convenient,… shiny and new. At the suggestion of one of my colleagues, I asked Ray for help when I had tire troubles and couldn't leave work. He drove to my office, picked up my car, and drove it back once it was done! Since then, he has helped me even with short notice (or no notice)- he has never said that something could not be done! I will not go anywhere else now, and my next BMW will be from Passport BMW! Thanks, Ray!!3rd BMW , passport is outstanding.

I would recommend this dealership in a heart beat. This is my 3rd BMW. And it… gets better each time. This is the first time I have used Passport, but it will not be my last. Drive over and meet the staff.Excellent experience!

My family and I have bought 5 cars from Tom, it's a shame he will be… retiring in the next couple years. Great product knowledge and took the time to get me floor mats that were not in the car. William was extremely patient given that it took me about 4 weeks to finally make a purchase. During that time William never got frustrated with and… never "wrote" me off as just another customer that was wasting his time. William is so accommodating I really don't know how he had time for all of his customers. Meaning is he this accommodating to everyone? During the buying experience, I never felt pressured, rushed and "ALL" my questions were answered, and if he could not answer the question he would get back to me promptly. The experience was so good, I will be back to see William when my wife is ready to buy her BMW. Go see William, you won't regret it.Teric is an Excellent Passport BMW Client Advisor

I knew the exact Certified Pre-Owned vehicle I wanted and it was ready to test drive… when I arrived at Passport. The experience was surprisingly pleasurable and easy. No one tried to sell me anything -- just answered my questions in a very friendly, courteous, and responsive manner. The finance manager worked hard to find a lower interest rate than my credit union was offering. Ask for Teric when you visit Passport and you will be a happy BMW owner.BMW Service

by clj2 on 12/05/2014Day after Tahnksgiving decided to buy a new BMW. Wanted a 550i but settled for the more affordable 535iX MSpport. Traded a 2013 535i which I was very fond of, great gas mileage, outstanding poerformance. The MSport looks really nice and… has features you just do not get in the regular car. After quite a bit of haggling got the financial deal I could live with and bought the car. This was my 9th BMW and 7th purchase from Passport BMW. Find that as a dealership they are the most willing to deal with you on a new purchase.Excellent Buying Experience - Passport BMW (Peter, JZ)

by alb66 on 11/21/2014I've owned several BMWs over the years. When it comes to getting them serviced, PAssport BMW Marlow Heights is the best in the Northern Virginia. One of the reasons is that they have a service manager, Keith Renner, who I have dealt with… for the last 15 years. Customer focus and satisfaction is job one. He keeps you apprised, no surprises and he delivers on his promise of best service. The car is alwys cleaned and ready to go. That's the reason I continue to return to Passport ... loyalty goes both ways.Great services with genuine aura

by sung_sc on 08/29/2014Worst experience ever! Brand new vehicle has A/C unit blowing out white dust/particles and still hasn't been fixed by the dealer. In this 90+ hot weather I have no A/C in a brand new vehicle... What a joke! Also, Sales advior (Aarion B) I… was dealing with has little to no clue on vehicle information and he is [non-permissible content removed]! After making the purchase I found a "Stolen Vehicle Recovery" document in the glove compartment with some guy's name with same VIN# as mine. So I asked him about it, and he said the person never got "approved" and sale never went through. Something didn't feel right so I decided to give a call to the guy who supposedly never got approved, come to find out he actually bought the vehicle and returned it within hour or so! Really? I would never trust this dealer and give my business again! Be aware folks! These people don't give a damn about you as long as they make the sale! There is nothing good to say about this dealer. Service is extremely slow and it is so hard to reach anyone, left several messages but never gets return calls from sales advisor & finance advisor! Since the sale has been finalized they could careless. This has been the worst car buying experience I ever had! Avoid this [non-permissible content removed] dealer like a plague!!!!!Outstanding Every Time!

by e36power on 02/10/2008Passport was the only dealer that had the car that i wanted in the country. I contacted Ed and we negotiated a deal out very quickly. They aren't giving cars away but they will give you a fair deal. I flew in To Baltimore and Passport… picked me up at the airport and after some quick signatures had me on my way. I live in Chicago and went to every dealer in the area to try and close this deal and none of them gave me even close to the customer service that Passport did. They can and will ship cars anywhere i just decided to pick mine up. I suggest you give this dealer a shot no matter where in the county you reside.Next
by bighat1 on 12/19/2007If you are looking for a BMW in the DC area you would be wise to skip Passport in my view. I say this having purchased an '04 M3 at Sterling, an '06 650 coupe at Passport and an '07 650 vert at Fairfax. I think it's best to rate… Passport by comparing them to the others in the area. 1. Unlike Sterling and Fairfax the salesman was condescending and terse. Why did I buy then? Well, I was leveraging a long-term relationship we had in place with our corp. vehicles. It yielded a good price, but I was able to do better on the '07 from Fairfax w/o any connections nine months later so no big deal there. 2. When I picked up the car at Passport, I got a pretty good review of the iDrive and systems. Sadly, half of the discussion was why I MUST give the salesman a perfect grade or he'd lose commission etc. So lame. Just do a good job and EARN the review and stop begging. 3. While driving home I notice 35 miles range remaining. What !! Oh, better stop quickly, no gas in the car. That's right, $80K car and they didn't fill it up. I called from home and got an apology and promise for a tankful next time I came by. 4. After waiting for my tags for about a month, I call the dealer. Yep, sitting there. Never bothered to mail them to me as promised and too busy to call to tell me they had them. Have to redo the registration also as they filled out the DMV paperwork improperly (despite clear instructions from my credit union) so I'm getting personal property stickers from the wrong county AND my registration is actually made out to the credit union and my name isn't even on it. Total [violative content deleted]. 5. Went by a few months later to get a minor recall issue addressed. Reminded the salesman and the service manager (with good humor) that they owed me some gas. Of course, the recall notice also had BMW repaying the dealership for a full tank in the recall procedure for the customer's hassle. Guess what, no gas even though there were two reasons I should have been filled up. Bet they billed BMW for it though. Bottom line is they suck compared to the other dealers I've dealt with. If you wanna buy a $80 or more car and fell like you're in a KIA dealership, this is your place.
