  • Rear disc brake job - Tom H. Service Manager

    I ended up needing a full brake job on the rear of my CR-V. The rear pads had worn to the bone well ahead of the front pads, which are apparently thicker than those in the back. Tom explained how these "new" brake systems work and later showed me the condition of the worn out parts. He automatically applied the current brake job discount and the vehicle rolled out in good shape again. Thanks Tom.

    After doing my research and visiting dealers for a new car, Heritage Honda of Westminster made me feel the most secure with my choice. With my purchase being a must and not a choice, due to an accident, John M. made my experience a pleasure and stress-free. He was honest and willing to work with me. I had test drove a civic a few days previous with another dealership, and didn't learn near as much about the car as I did with John. He gave clear descriptions about every button and light in the new car and was willing to answer any of my questions. This is my second car and my second Honda, and there is no doubt I'll be back to Heritage Honda of Westminster.

    I just purchased a new Honda Accord from Robert M. This is the fourth vehicle, in 5 years, that I have purchased from Rob and this dealership. The reason is simple: GREAT people, GREAT service, HONEST and totally PROFESSIONAL! I have mentioned Rob's name. He's the person to see when you buy your new automobile. I can't say enough good about working with Rob. That leads me to Steve R. the Sales Manager. Naturally, Steve is a part of any decision when an automobile is purchased. Steve, like Rob, has been with Westminster Honda for years. Once again, it was my pleasure to work with Steve. He is very fair and strives to make one feel comfortable. Further, he provides the best deal possible in his attempt to make all customers a part of the Westminster Honda family. And, trust me, it becomes a family once you purchase a vehicle. I also spoke with Robert L., the General Manager. I've known Rob for years from his community outreach, here in Westminster. Rob, as well as the other two gentlemen, is a true, class act. I told Rob that he truly has the 'dream team' at this dealership. For years service was lacking at this dealership, but, with the hiring of Jim G. (Service Manager), both parts of this business are outstanding! My personal thanks to my extended family at Westminster Honda. Truly a great group of people. After all, it is the 'Dream Team.'

    We would like to thank Tom H. for the outstanding service and attention to detail that he has always given us. He has kept our 2004 Honda Odyssey in great shape for a number of years. He and the service team diagnosed and fixed a recent suspension problem with consummate professionalism. Honda service was a big factor in our decision to buy a new Honda Pilot.

    Any dealership can sell you a car with mechanization. The customer becomes relegated to an inquiry and the answer becomes an unwavering boxed response to simply remove inventory from the lot. It is easy to see the buyer as a means to an end and even worse, to objectify and minimize their individuality. There is a goal to achieve the sale, but no heart to earn it. Heritage Honda of Westminster is not just any dealership. Like a family, they welcome you inside where you are introduced to a community of enthusiastic advisors. Through their shared ownership experiences and resources, the customer is acknowledged first as a respected peer, and then grows into a valued friend. Purchasing a new vehicle can be as much a personal economic challenge as it is a psychological trial. We are emotional beings who, on a primal level, explore and travel. As we move with our inanimate vehicles, we treat them as companions that share in the same experiences both on and off the road. Our cars are a symbol of personal responsibility with the reward being intimate freedom. No one understands and embraces this concept at Heritage better, in my experience, than Rob Mason. His professionalism, courtesy, warmth and sincerity extended to my entire family from the minute we arrived. To him, I wasn’t walking into a dealership; I was entering a center of learning. His goal was to reacquaint me with the make and model I had adored for over ten years by allowing me to test drive the latest product, educate me on its technological and engineering improvements with his knowledge, and then secure the exact vehicle I desired by utilizing his resources. One such indispensable resource at Heritage Honda is Steve Rubin. Sales managers can make the lethal mistake of hiding in their tower. Lethal because it kills an opportunity to establish and strengthen a client’s relationship with the sales department. Steve openly challenges this paradigm. When I met him face to face during the buying process, there was no feeling of inferior bargaining power or submission to an ultimate figure (numerically or physically). Steve encouraged an open dialogue, listened to my wants and expectations, then proposed a fair compromise-- not as a sign of weakness, but as the beginning of trust. Ever respectful of my time, Rob and Steve consolidated paperwork and introduced me to the Business Manager, Jim Garrett. A consummate professional, Jim deftly procured the necessary forms for tag and title and helped to guide my decision-making process on the right service plan for my new vehicle. He, like the rest of the Heritage Honda team, recognized that maintenance is an integral part of ownership. Customer satisfaction may often be aided by the anticipation of new car ownership, thus creating a temporary optimism. A dealership can often make the mistake of maintaining the customer only through that excitement, just to make the sale. It takes a sales department that is confident in its services and committed to consistent quality to forge a relationship with the customer that extends beyond the sales lot. Shortly after buying the Civic, my family, so impressed with my experience at Heritage, decided on adding a new Honda CRV to our home. Before we could purchase it, however, funds had to be transferred which would take several days to complete. Additionally, the weather forecast was calling for heavy snow and treacherous driving conditions that week. In an act of genuine concern for my mother’s safety, Steve Rubin informed her by phone that she could take the car home early, before the snow hit, in case she had to make it into work during the storm. This was an example of service that went above and beyond the sale. A customer’s well-being was more important than--not conditional upon—payment. Heritage Honda treated my family as their own.     My wife and I recently purchased a civic at Heritage. From the first phone conversation I had with Adam B.until purchasing the car, he was beyond friendly and professional. He understood our needs and made sure we got what we wanted, and wasn’t pushy at all. His efforts made the entire process simple and enjoyable. It was well worth the hour plus drive from our home in Pennsylvania. We are very happy with the overall experience and love our new car. We will certainly be back for our future car purchases.

    On 2/1/14, I called Tom to ask for assistance with a bad battery. I had no appointment but Tom told me to bring my car right in. Weather wise, this was a very bad day so I was very happy to receive such prompt service. Tom and Craig noted that I needed new pads and rotors as well as a battery so I had all the work done at the same time. My car was ready by noon, when the shuttle (Doug) picked me up. I'm very happy that the technicians and mechanics are so thorough! With 5 cars from this dealership, it is difficult to keep up with the cost of servicing but between Tom and Jim, they do the best pricing they are able to. And I greatly appreciate that!! Once again, my hat is off to the Service Department at Mile One Westminster. Thanks everyone!!

    After not having a car for over four years, I was nervous about used car shopping. I was living in the DC area at the time, but actually came up to Heritage Honda in Westminster because I heard such good things. Duffy Z. was my salesman and he was the best! He listened to all of my questions and accurately answered them, addressed any concerns I had, and even followed up with me after the sale to see how things were going. I left Heritage Honda Westminster with a great (new to me) car and a great feeling (which I understand is rare in car buying). All in all, a great experience and I will definitely be back the next time I need a car!

    I walked into Heritage Honda of Westminster to see what they had in vans. Agata was the first person I saw and whom I purchased my van from. Agata was very friendly and knowledgeable on the features of the Odyssey and has been a big help in showing me how they work. The paperwork was a breeze and I had something fixed on my car while I was there too since I was giving my old car to my daughter. Everyone I talked to was very nice and helpful.

    Tom was my contact at Heritage and he could not have been more accommodating. I drop the car off on Friday. The shuttle took me home Friday and picked me up on Saturday. I had a concern about the transmission and muffle. Both turned out to be non issues. Turned out the issue was a simple missing clamp. Nice to know that my 2006 CRV is in great shape thanks to the service at Heritage.

    My wife and I both own Hondas; she has a 2011 CRV (she also previously owned a 2005 Element) and I drive a 2013 Pilot. Over the years, we've have all of our services performed here in Westminster and the service is always top-notch. We generally deal with Tom in the Service Dept. and he is great to work with. I recently had a braking problem, diagnosed and repaired on my Pilot within a few hours time and the price was very reasonable. I am completely happy with my experience at Heritage Honda of Westminster.

    My wife and I have always been treated very well and respectful at Heritage Honda in Westminster. The services always done within the estimated time. The cost of service is pretty reasonable. I would like to recognize Tom H at Service department. My wife and I have been going to Tom for all of our Honda vehicles' maintenance services for years. He has always been very helpful and accomendating to our busy schedule. He has taken really good care of our cars needs and maintenance services. Thank you, Tom!
