This was the easiest car buying process I've ever completed, the sales team did a great job keeping me informed, it was quick direct and not at all stressful, I did my homework and… had a good idea were the numbers needed to be, the end result was they exceeded my expectations, After the sale really impressed me, Clinton came back to meet me after hours, spent over an hour with me setting up my "On Star" and "Remote Link" to my phone, as well as showing me all the other bells and whistles, he is a true gentlemen and asset to your team, Mr. Dumont the sale manager help put the deal together, he respected my time and got right down to business, John in the finance office was great, I think he said he had 7 or 8 closing going on that day, he was as cool and collected as they come, I've told a half dozen friends and associates how painless this process was, i couldn't say enough good things about Herb Chambers Chevy, Thanks Again Guys All the Best, Jason Morey Brookwood Landscape, Danvers, MAThank you, Jason, so much for taking the time to share your experience. The salesman Corey went the extra mile
by cmsbruce on 08/31/2014My wife and I were looking for Chevrolet Camaro convertible, we had a very specific set of options we wanted and only a handful were left in new England. We live in central Connecticut so it was rather a long drive to even go look for the… car. We called the dealership first to confirm the car was their, this was a Sunday. We drove to Danvers Chevrolet first thing in the morning on Monday, we were met by a very cheerful salesman named Corey S. Corey brought the car up for us to look at. As we had explained we were very serious about the purchase and did not want to spend half the day at the dealership as we still had to work for the day. True to their word we were able to wrap up negotiation's on the Car in short order . We were able to negotiate a reasonable price and a good deal on my trade, unlike other dealers I have been to, they were understanding of my needs on my trade as well as realistic in their first offer. I can tell you we went to a number of dealers who offers on my trade as well as their price for their car were insulting at best. We all understand that a dealer needs to make a profit, this dealer understood not to insult my intelligence, we all have access to the internet, it amazes me how many dealers still want to work on selling cars like they did in the 70's. I found the dealership to be refreshing and a straight shooter. Unfortunately we were unable to pick up the car up that day, as the registration on our car was from Connecticut. The dealership sent someone to transfer the plates for us later that week, we did have a paper work issue that had to be resolved and one quick call to the sales manager and the issue was resolved. Corey then drove the car to the Connecticut border to meet my wife and deliver the new car and pick up our trade. Thank you for a pleasant buying experience. Bought a new 2014 Chevy Sonic.
by johnnynads on 08/28/2014Bought my 2014 Chevy Sonic recently and absolutely love it. To state the obvious, Herb Chambers is a top quality dealership with, in my opinion, no equal. I have been a customer there starting in July, 2004 when I bought my first new Chevy.… This time around, my salesman was Anthony D and he was amazing. Professional, knowledgeable, very genuine, courteous, pleasant, and outgoing. We felt immediately at ease with him, like we had known him for years. My approach was somewhat unique in that my wife and I knew exactly the model we wanted - walked over to it and asked to do the paperwork. Anthony went inside, returned with information on what models they had available on the lot (color, options, etc.), and that was that! Zero pressure to complete the transaction, consider a different (I.e. more expensive!) model, nothing. He and John D, one of the managers and another extraordinary human being, worked with me to get the best deal possible at the right time and, again, never pressured me. In my case, John was somewhat of a miracle worker as the finalized deal was an unexpected treat, given my particular situation. Also - they make sure that you know everything there is to know about operating the vehicle you just purchased AND they are extremely attentive to every single detail. For example, transmitting information to your insurance agent (adding the new car, removing the old if there is a trade involved), registering and inspecting the vehicle, detailing it, full tank of gas, warranty... I could go on and on. We literally drove up to the lot with the trade vehicle and drove away in the new one - completely painless. If you happen to be in the market for a car, you can't go wrong here, and I would strongly suggest talking to Anthony.Thank you so much for sharing your great opinion about us! I purchased a 2015 Chevy Tahoe from Herb Chambers Chevrolet this August and must say it could not have been a better experience. Salesman Kevin was awesome. Knowledgeable,… courteous and understanding. Even the Paul the lot manager was experienced and a member of the team. Cory the Sales Manager was incredible and allowed me to explain my buying rationale. He was friendly, energetic, and helpful. He brought out a Master Tech to be sure the… condition I was reporting (an audible noise) could be confirmed before I left. The repairs were done to follow and were spot on. He also made sure I received transportation (loaner car) while my car was tied up a couple days. At first when I went there I was in the market for a used car with 20k or less miles maybe a 2012 or 2013, but the deal was so great at the time that I bought a brand new 2014.
