Worst dealership in the world!
by jeep1616 on 08/01/2011updated 04/24/2025This dealership first off takes way too long when you are they. I had to wait for 2 hours. They spam me. And their prices are soo high. They will also give you no money for a trade in and beware of sue. She will call you every other day to… try to sell some crap to you when you have told her to stop as I have over ten times.Have had good experience with Herb Chambers.... But not this one

Made some odd noises from the drivetrain / brakes. My salesman although somewhat pleasant was not very… helpful. His manager was even worse, not even willing not negotiate on price in the least... Went so far as to write a rude message on the salesman's piece of paper causing me to promptly leave. A simple no, or counter offer was apparently far too courteous for this gentleman. Not my fault if they got screwed on the trade... Overall definitely would prefer not to do business with them again, possibly even avoiding Herb Chambers dealerships in general on principle alone. They wont get my business or my friends when we graduate from college in a year.... ridiculous.From PIP to the Volt
by nortonhalber on 12/19/2013updated 04/24/2025I have had the second, third and fourth generations of the Prius for 7 years. The last one being the Prius Plug In. It was a very good car, but I got hooked on having a almost all electric car for my short daily trips. As the Prius only… gave between 9 and 11 miles daily. And I was uncomfortable in cold weather trying to avoid using the heater as it ate up the electric miles.(also the gas engine kicks in sporadically). I started looking at the Volt literature and chat lines and then decided to test drive it. That was satisfactory so I then decided to order one exactly as I wanted. The dealership was totally cooperative and the car was recently delivered. So, here is your answer. It is the best car that I have ever driven. It is solid with a great ride. I can use it in all electric mode and the climate control is excellent. I like the electronics and appreciate the thought that went into them. ( I am a former software programmer). That is my story. He listened to what exactly it was that… i was interested in and in no way tried to push me twords something I could not afford.. Mr A. made me feel as if I was with family and made the entire process stress free. I have never felt more comfortable buying a vehicle before. Mr A. is a prime example as to what all salesmen should take lesson from. My certified 2012 Dodge Charger was everything it was advertised as. A month in the Service bay

No one could figure out the problem (1 week of diagnostics) another week to fix, and then another week of resolving issues from a new transfer case. I asked to have the… General manager call me to help me get into a new Jeep otherwise I was done with Jeep and Herb Chambers. I now own a BMW and I'm still waiting for a call.We had an excellent experience at Herb Chambers

He stayed with us from start to finish and answered any and all questions we had. There was no pressure at… all from Vito. We were there for 2 and a half hours... literally... did get a nice test ride... and were still waiting for them to us with the… first sales offer when my head exploded. Left and bought a truck in 30 minutes at another dealership. They do have free ice cream while you wait.Thank you for providing us your feedback.
