Refreshing Experience

Can’t recommend Colonial VW enough. I had been looking at different brands for a few weeks and found it refreshing to work with Steve Warren. There was no hard selling, no gimmicks or pitches, or pressure. He got us a fair deal on our trade… in despite it having about 150k miles and we were in and out in less than 2.5 hours with our new car. The financing process was straightforward and again there was no hard selling. Just a great experience and I would highly recommend Colonial VW and Steve Warren.

I went there and worked with Jason G. and Dana E. It was very easy making deal, and amount I paid was fair. Car did not have mats,… which I think is strange. He was very patient with my millions of questions and not pushy at all when I was deciding which make of car to buy. He took me on a thorough test drive in the zippy Golf and… held my car for the week it took me to get it together. Delivery also went off without a hitch. I am very pleased. Second, they called me to follow up and let me know they had one model that met my specifications. Third, the entire experience was transparent,… pleasant, low-pressure and informative. SO different from Quirk and other dealers I went to. I would not consider any other VW dealer in the future.Can all dealership be like that?

I was not rush! Chris took the time to know me first before even showing me any… car. My needs and questions was first priority to him than anything else. The financial department was on cue and on top on getting me the BEST RATE available. From Chris, Anna to Erica, everybody was knowledgeable and friendly. In 4-5 star hotel, customer satisfaction is priority one, the same concept applies to the Colonial VW of Medford. Oh, did I mention I had a courtesy pick up from my house in Chelsea and that was just the 2nd visit to dealership They will go the extra mille to satisfy their customer.Great experience all the way

Throughout the entire process, he was extremely friendly, helpful, personable and considerate of our infant son who was shopping with us. I did not make it easy for Al as I… negotiated the price of the car, but he was patient and eager to make the deal happen. We came to a good agreement, and he made it his goal to get us through the paperwork process as quickly as possible given our son's growing impatience. Everyone from the sales department through the finance (Anna) made it a smooth enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend Al and the team at Colonial to anyone looking for a new car.Jetta SE

I went back three times to test drive the Passat and the Jetta and he never got frustrated with my inability to make a decision! Ultimately, I chose to lease a 2012… Jetta SE based on the lease payment price. Rob and Anna worked with me relentlessly to get my payment to a price that I was comfortable with. Not once did I feel pressured to sign papers, cut my 15-20 min test drives short (although if I had wanted to take a shorter route it would have completely been my decision), or feel rushed out of the dealership because they had closed 20 minutes ago. Even though Rob is one of the younger salesman that I met with in all of the dealerships I went to (Herb Chambers of Burlington, another Honda dealer, and a Nissan dealer in Medford) he blew the others out of the water in terms of customer satisfaction, politeness, knowledge of any VW vehicle (other salesman I worked with couldn't even tell me if the back seat folded down and they expected to win me over?), and pretty much anything else I asked. Rob follows up with phone calls or text messages, carries himself well and respects those that he works with, and isn't pushy - which is what won me over in the end. I'd recommend this VW dealer to anyone who's looking - a fabulous experience for something that is normally so stressful!Awesome dealership

They were ready for us, and had the vehicle out front and it was ready to go. We took… it for a test drive and then began the paperwork. It was a great deal, the person we dealt with, Mr. William Burns was professional, personable and knew his information. The financial person, Anna Giacalone was gracious and extremely helpful. My wife and I went in to inquire about a vehicle we searched for online. We were promptly greeted by Salesman Greg… C. Within just a few minutes, we were on a test drive. It's important to note here, that the Greg did not accompany us on the test drive. He offered to go with us if we felt more comfortable, however he didn't require it. This allowed us to feel more relaxed and too discuss our possibility of purchase without the feeling of any interference. Greg was very straightforward and spent quite a while answering all of our questions, even trying to locate a vehicle with different options. He was not pushy at all and respected the fact that we were considering 2 other brands of vehicle. Greg contacted me to follow up and presented his best price from the start. There was really no need to haggle whatsoever. Their price was extremely fair. In the end we decided to purchase a 2013 Jetta TDI because it was the best option for our situation and partially because Greg beat the price of a Mazda 3 with the same option, but with a sticker price of 2k less to start with! Colonial gave us a great finance rate and made the whole experience easy. There were no high pressure sales or BS, just the straightforward facts. If you're in the market for a VW, do yourself a favor and talk to Greg at Colonial. I guarantee you will be pleased.Excellent purchase with Steve G. at Colonial VW of Medford, MA

This dealer is very straightforward and works hard to make the sale happen on the terms you outline. Steve is… a very nice guy who was very honest through the whole transaction. I walked in at about 1pm with a trade-in vehicle (which wasn't even a VW). They gave me a favorable deal on my trade-in and a good deal on the car I bought. I left around 5pm the same day, driving away in my new VW. I will continue to buy VW's every 2-3 years from Colonial.Best Car Purchasing Experience

The great deal on my new Jetta helped get me in the door too. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Ryan and Jason and in just a few… moments we were out on a test drive. They had the car waiting for me so there was no waiting around, something I appreciate since I work third shift and had just knocked off work that morning. Ryan worked with me on my trade and was able to come up with figures I liked almost immediately, I was fully expecting to have to haggle a lot more than that! I bought the car on the spot and couldn't be happier with it. I really have to commend Ryan for his patience and perseverance, he went above and beyond dealing with my less-than-stellar insurance company to make sure I could take the car home that day even though I was expecting to have to come back to receive delivery. When it came to the paperwork Chris was awesome. He explained everything to me and showed me exactly what I was signing for. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Colonial. Friendly, attentive, honest, I will definitely be back and will be sending my friends.first class service
