  • Never Again - terrible service advisor

    My service advisor was Leanne. She was excellent. When she realized that she had made a mistake, she corrected it immediately. On 09/18/23 I purchased 4 new tires at BMW Norwood because there was a promotion of buying 3 tires and 4th one for just $1. I also mentioned to Leanne that I had a hard time to upgrade BMW software, hopefully the technician would do it for me. I dropped off the car, got the loaner and took off. Before taking off Leanne called me and told me that oil change was due next month and convinced me I can do the tires and oil change at the same time. I told Leanne that I didn’t want to go back and forth because my inspection was also due next month. And I can do oil change and inspection next time when I come in. Leanne wasn’t happy about that. Since then I never heard anything about whether all my 4 tires were installed or not. No phone calls. No texts. At 5:50pm I was pumping gas into my loaner at the gas station across the dealership. At 5:56 pm Leanne called me and quoted me the price of upgrading the software, not even a word about the installation of 4 tires. When I arrived at the dealer. Everybody had gone home. Only the cashier was left behind. I told the cashier I wanted to pick up my car and paid. When I looked at the invoice, I was charged full price on all 4 tires. I told the cashier the whole story. And she couldn’t do anything about it. I said that was false advertising. In other words, my car was taken as a collateral. If I don’t pay full price of those 4 tires, I can’t get my car back. Later the cashier got in touch with Leanne, and Leanne told her to give me $250 discount. And then I said each tire costed $349.41. If the 4th tire was only $1, it should be $348.41 off not $250 off. The following day Leanne called and apologized to me for causing me so much headache. I told her I was terrified and I thought I couldn’t get my car back. Then she credited me $100 to make the 4th tire for $1 and waived me $20 tires disposal fee and $20 tires weights fee. When I looked at the invoice, it said so clearly that buy 3 and get 1 for $1. It also said that the promised time to pick up my car was 4:00 pm. After I refused to do the oil change, I was totally ignored by Leanne. No phone call, no texting. Even when she called me at 5:46 pm, 4 minutes before she were done for the day, she didn’t even say a word if my car was ready to pick up. Getting treated like that I’ll never go back to this dealership. The service advisor Leanne needs to be disciplined.

    I owned a 2016 BMW 7 series Xdrive purchased from BMW of Norwood as were my previous 2 cars before. What keeps me going back there is their service department. After the purchase of a car comes the real ownership experience. This depends largely on the quality of the service department as this is a continuous experience throughout the entire ownership period. I have been assigned the same associate everytime: Teresa Mullen. She has been a delight to work with. She is very resourceful and keeps me updated throughout the time it takes to service the car rather than wait for me to call in and inquire. Trust is earned and service is delivered right with constant communication and well managed expectation. There is no other way to do it right.

    Just got my 4th BMW from Norwood gallery, salesperson Roger La Ferreira in 11 years. That says more about his and the gallery’s customer service and my satisfaction with them than any words could describe. Excellent service, very customer friendly, overall a great person and a gallery to work with! Will definitely come back for my 5th car with them too

    Francisco helped me with a BMW Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) used 2019 BMW 3 series car. He was wonderful - totally knowledgeable about every feature of the car, very easy to work with, super attentive when I had questions or had issues to resolve in the purchase process. I was able to take the car out for a long test drive so I could really see how it handled. His manager Mike also helped me with some of the details and was equally amazing to work with. Absolutely one of the best car-buying experiences my wife and I have ever had. On delivery of the car, Paul, the product genius (a title that is well deserved), helped me to learn all of the ins and outs of the car. We spent over an hour going over different aspects of the car's controls and systems, which was invaluable. Wow - I have never experienced a delivery that was as professional and informational as this. I have to mention the CPO aspect too. Even before I test drove the car, the dealership had installed new tires and did some brake work to get the car ready for sale. During the test drive, I noticed some vibration at higher speeds. Before I took delivery of the car, the service team looked into it, made several adjustments to the brakes and tire balancing, and now the car drives as smooth as silk. The car drives and looks like a brand new car in just about every way possible. And CPO gave me an additional year of warranty which is great. I would definitely recommend CPO.

    My car is only two years old 20k miles. I purchased the extended coverage package when I purchased my car. During this service they suggested tire rotation and balancing. The total was over $400. Just know that they over charge.

    I don’t have the words to describe how grateful I am for Anabel and the BMW Norwood service team! I brought my car into a different dealership because my coolant levels were low and I had a 20+ hour drive to Florida coming up in a matter of days, only to be turned away because that dealership was days behind on maintenance, and ‘too busy to even look at it’… BMW Norwood was able to take my car in last minute, and they found TWO leaks in my coolant lines - both of which were replaced within 24 hours. Not only did BMW Norwood take my car in last minute and save me from what would’ve been a catastrophic issue on my drive to Florida, but they made me feel like I was a VIP customer - from ordering me a Lyft home, to sending me a video of the leak with an explanation of how they would fix it, and most importantly… Anabel regularly updated me on the status of my vehicle and responding quickly to my text messages - you have no idea how much that put my worries at ease given the short timeframe between when I dropped my car off and my planned drive to Florida. If you’re a new customer or an existing customer, learn from my experience elsewhere - BMW Norwood and their Service Advisor, Anabel, are the best you’ll find. Thank you again, Stan

    They are very honest in telling you what your car actually needs Vs the other places that would just recommend services just to get some money in. Highly recommend this place. I have a choice of using another dealership that is equidistant but I choose to go here every single time

    Virtually no interaction with service associate on status of work. She had no idea car was all set. Took 30 minutes to get keys after payment. Auto mechanic was excellent.
