  • Refused to perform safety recall tag causes fires

    Review update after picking up truck from dealership. Wareham Ford had my F250 for over two weeks, to perform a electrical wiring repair of the engine wiring harness, and perform a full service Super Duty truck oil change and multi point inspection for $284.25. When the truck was picked up by my significant other as I was out of town, she made it halfway home and alerts started popping up on the display of a low tire pressure warning. It turns out all four tires had low enough air pressure to set off the Ford warning system alerting the driver. So while the tires were rotated during the oil change, nobody checked and adjusted the air pressures in the tires. Another issue was the oil drain plug needed replacement due to a slow leak, but this was not recommended. It was taken care of when I took truck back to the dealership after the holidays to complain about the air pressure situation. Third issue....BOTH windshield wipers were literally falling apart and needed replacement. Again nobody said anything as the truck obviously did not received the "multi point inspection" part of the full service super duty oil change that was was performed. I had to replace the wipers myself so no damage would be done to the windshield when they were activated automatically. FOURTH AND BIGGEST ISSUE...this truck has three NHTSA Safety Recalls open and at no point during Wareham Ford having possession of my vehicle for over two weeks, did anyone bring notice of these recalls to my attention. I became aware of these recalls when I received an auto text from another dealership back in Florida seeking to schedule the truck for the required safety related recall repairs outstanding on my truck, which moved me to contact Wareham Ford to inquire as to recall status. (See pic of text from Florida dealership below) When I spoke with the service manager, his excuse for the recall repair failures was due to Wareham Ford not having a "truck technician" available, and the repairs made to my truck which were over $1,146 were all performed by the "shop foreman", and he refused to perform the required recalls on my vehicle. Keep in mind, it's only a F250 pick up truck, not a huge F450 or F650 commercial vehicle...just a pick up truck. I now have to take my truck into Colonial Ford in Plymouth in two weeks to have what should have been repaired by Wareham Ford taken care of by another dealership. A total waste of my time due to Wareham Ford Failing to address these recalls while they had the truck. Disturbing and kinda scary, as not only did they fail to perform the required recall repairs, but they also failed to notify anyone of the required repairs and the importance of getting them taken care of by another Ford dealership as some of them are safety related. Had I not received this text from another Ford dealership about one of the safety recalls on my truck, I would have never known.

    I traded a 2017 f250 sd for a 2024 F250 sd. Priced right. Even with the strike this purchase went well. Wareham Ford was terrific. Very helpful and it was easy. I'm very happy and will have the servicing done there as well..

    My husband has been telling me to change from another dealer to your service because you don't fluff up the bill. If I had gone to the other dealer, my bill would have been $300.00 to $500.00 I'm sure. The other dealer does not participate in Ford's owner advantage program either. Yesterday, I had the Works done on my car and I walked out paying zero because of my husband's points. That made my day! People who helped me were gracious and patient. Thank you for a great experience. I am definitely coming back.

    Our salesman, Scott Lopes was extremely helpful in helping us decide which vehicle and whether to lease or purchase our new car. We tried several vehicles and decided to lease a 2015 Ford Escape. Jimmy was also very helpful. We are very pleased with the entire process and love our new Escape! Scott made it easy for us to get out new car.     I have been with Wareham ford since I bought my 2003 Ford Focus in 2003 when it was Sudard Ford. I was very happy with that car until I got into an accident and it was totaled. I wanted another focus so I came back to Wareham Ford and was very pleased with customer service representative He could not have been nicer. In fact he was the same person that sold me my first focus. The service manager was super great, making sure everything was in tip top shape. I very happy with my decision to stay with Wareham Ford

    Brought my 2013 F350 Super Duty in for oil change. Discovered a faulty EGR valve and replaced three days later. EGR covered under warranty. No issues. Purchased my Super Duty at Balise but next truck will be from Wareham. Good store and very convenient for me as we live on Martha's Vineyard. Jeff Carlson

    Wish I remember his name. Maybe Donald was exceptionally nice when I had my car checked for transmission. He was at service desk. Alway been weary of your place because I have never been given a nice welcome, but things were totally different!! A young employee also went out and spent time hooking up my bluetooth which I was trying to do for months with a happy smile. Congratulations, wonderful service. Will now come back to you.     My truck was taken in right away to get looked at some parts had to be ordered, got it back the next day. They go out their way to squeeze me in since I did not make an appointment and drove it in. Very pleased with Wareham Ford.

    The service and staff at Wareham Ford is always exemplary. The staff are kind, courteous and knowledgable. I have brought many different vehicles to this dealership for service and they have never disappointed me. Service is done well and in a timely fashion. I could not be happier with them.
