by Sparky7078 on 01/11/2017I put down deposit on a CPO Camry but when it came time to do the paperwork they didn't have the title. They were going to find it and then we would finish the transaction. After almost 4 weeks they still hadn't found the title. The… salesman asked if I would be interested in applying the deposit to any other cars. I suggested 2 other CPO Camrys that were advertised on their website but they didn't have the titles for them either! I asked for my deposit back and was told the finance manager didn't remember me. Fortunately I still had the receipt so I took it in. The finance manager told me I would have my refund in 48-72 hours. Six days later it still hasn't been refunded.shady slimy trying to rush a deal without having the title
by qwertyuiopasd on 11/09/2016I went here to look for a 2012 nissan leaf, a sales representative seemed nice, (he was the new guy) took forever to find the car wasn't at the dealership or this one fenced in section of parking lot, but another one later found the car, we… take it back to the dealership, was at critically low charge. They tell us it was a recent trade in and they don't have the title, almost completely ignore our questions about the battery warranty, tell us there is no negotiation of any sort, add on a $500 documentation fee, we say we're not decided yet. He tells us that is fine, we gave them some contact info, and he tells us just sign here, and of course that would be committing to buy the car. Sent us to the finance manager even though we said we didn't want to finance, the man was very rude, admitted they don't have the title, blaming the bank for taking awhile. So he tells us to put down a deposit to secure the car when it's ready, which leads into financing and paying interest. we asked them multiple times to put the car on a charger because we wanted it to be ready if we did buy it, ignored us again. There were a couple of dings in the paint, tried to tell us it was nothin and could be repainted later at our expense, an that otherwise it was in great condition, we noticed the tires looked like they weren't in bad condition but definitely not great, also the break was stiff, salesman wrote it off as being different sensitivity in different cars. went home found out that means the brake fluid is bad. the brake fluid cabin air filter and tires should have been serviced/replaced by nisssan guidelines. very shady experience at a run-down dealership do not go thereAWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
by jlboston on 10/16/2016I spoke with Christine Brown in the BDC at Woburn Toyota a few days ago inquiring about a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe. I live in Boston, MA so I wanted to ensure that the car was there before I made the trip to Woburn Toyota. She assured me over… and over that it would be all ready for me to look at. I might add that she came across as extremely rude, and I felt like she wanted nothing to do with me. Well, two days later I made the trip to Woburn to look at the car. Traveling is not the easiest for me, but I was excited to look at the car and most likely purchase it. When I got to the dealership the nicest salesman searched and searched and searched for the car. He was so determined to find the car, but he couldn't. It was not on the lot and it was not at a sister dealership nearby. He was so kind and hardworking that I felt bad getting so upset, he clearly was not the one responsible for ensuring cars are there for appointments. I was furious. Christine had reassured me that the 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe would be there, but she clearly lied to me. Woburn Toyota had 2 days to figure out if the car wasn't there, but Christine was obviously too lazy to check if they had the car, or even follow up! A co-worker of mine had a similar experience and when I mentioned Christine's name she said that the girl had done it to her as well! Woburn Toyota - why have such an incompetent person represent your dealership? I will not be returning and will ensure that other customers are aware of my awful experience with Christine. Not to mention her rudeness! What I had hoped would be an exciting day purchasing a new car, ended up being nothing but an aggravating hassle. I will not be back - Christine Brown lost you a guaranteed sale Woburn Toyota.Worst Sales Representatives
by CJ_Car_Buyer on 06/01/2016Please look for some other dealership than reaching Woburn Toyota. Sales team is very rude and don't have curtsy to talk in a proper way. I am sharing my yesterday's experience with Woburn Toyota.I was interested to buy Toyota Camry 2014… model. 7:58 PM) I received the call from sales representative, she told that vehicle is available. When I talked about negotiation bandwidth, she told though she can not comment on this but once you see the vehicle and interested, sales team can work with you. I confirmed that I will be coming today. She even told me that she will inform to Sales Manager about it so someone will be available to help you. 8:32 PM) I reached the show room. Only one representative was free that time. I reached him. He asked the purpose of visit and I conveyed the same. He told that he is leaving but he will talk to someone. He talked to the person who was there in the first cabin and then after 5 mins came to me. He sat on his chair and rudely asked what you need. I told I am interested in 2014 Camry. He told "If you want to pay the exact price what it shows over the net then only I can show you otherwise DON'T WASTE MY TIME, there will not be any negotiation". I told that your call representative told me that I can discuss with sales team. He replied "I am telling you my words and I can not tell for some one. I don't know anything but this is what it is". I sent the mail to all managers of Woburn Toyota with the following points: 1. Why sales team is not in sync? Are both teams not representing the same firm? 2. How can a sales member say that "do not waste my time"? 3. Being a customer facing position, do you think to have such kind of people in the firm? 4. Even thou customer asks for impossible things, you can politely say No without hurting the people sentiments, right? 5. If sales team is not interested then why to call for the visit? Do not you think the value of your client's time? 6. Whether client is interested to negotiate or not, first sales team must show the car. Sometimes after seeing the car client will not be interested to do any negotiation. Do not you have that curtsy for the client because he / she had put some effort to come to show room.Spot Delivery Scam and Yo-yo Financing, AVOID!!!
by huolianzhai on 05/08/2016I purchased a 2016 Rav4 Limited from Woburn Toyota on Sunday March 20, 2016, and I got the vehicle on Thursday March 24, 2016 since finance and registration took some time. For this deal, I traded in my old car, paid $2000 down payment… and financed the rest through Toyota Financing. I was not sure about whether I could finance through Toyota since Im not a US citizen, so I asked my salesman, and the finance manager who handles my deal multiple times (>5) whether I could finance through Toyota before I signed the deal and during the waiting through March 20 to March 24, they all replied yes. I still have their emails confirming that my finance was approved. On March 24, they told me that everything was all set and I got the Rav4. But on Monday April 4 2016, I got an email and a call from my salesman. In the email, he told me I should "come back today tonight so you can resign all your documents. We went with a different bank to get you approved". I was confused so I went to the dealership that night, however, I met my finance manager and a director of finance there, they told me that my finance fell through and two options for me were: 1) I could get my own auto loan for Rav4 or, 2) return the Rav4, get my old car and the down payment back - in summary, reverse the deal and theres no cost to me, at least this was the word they gave me. Feeling uncomfortable about the way they deal with their customers, I decided to abandon the Rav4 and get my old car back. Then I was so naive that I signed one contract trading in the Rav4 for my old car, and a registration transfer document which I later found was a total piece of junk, its not legal at all. The dealership put the plates that used to be on the Rav4 on my old car and told me its okay to drive with those plates since they have filed the registration transfer. The finance manager told me they would send me the $2,000 down payment back to me in check next week. During the whole week, I called the dealership several times regarding my down payment refund, but each time they gave me a different response regarding when and how they would refund me the money. On Friday April 8 2016 morning, the director of finance called me and told me that their accounting department was working on the $2,000 refund and I would have the refund on the credit card in 24 to 48 hours. In the afternoon, the director of finance and my salesman called and told me that they have a great news for me and I could purchase another Rav4 with the same configurations since they got my finance approved. I checked my credit report, they made four credit runs without my permission. Of course I declined this offer. By the end of the day, the director of finance called me again asking me to come to them Saturday morning to get my old car registered and titled in MA, and they would cover all the costs. They also required I left my old car at the dealership over the weekend, and they would provide a rental car. Interesting. I didnt take my old car there of course, who knows what they would do to my car. Now the situation is I already have my down payment back, after weeks efforts. But Ill be charged a large excise tax bill since the Rav4 was registered to me in March and April, and I still dont have anything in writing from Woburn Toyota stating that they will cover that cost, they did promise to cover that, but I dont trust them anymore unless its in writing. And I dont even have all the documents I signed yet, they promised to send me all the documents last week but of course, they didnt. Im gonna file complaints to Attorney General in my state and on bbb.org to resolve this issue. One star is too much for Woburn Toyota, I suggest that shoppers can simply avoid this dealership unless they want to buy a vehicle the hard way.Horrible experience
by Swinefloo on 04/13/2016They tell us the sticker price is the final price, as we sit down to talk, they try to slap on 1200 in fees. Lmao!! U cant make this stuff up. They expect you to pay $700 for some paint protectant that you dont even want, but its added in… the final price. Slimier than a used car dealership$1200 in hidden fees! STAY AWAY!!!!
by alsonine on 04/05/2016long story short.. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS SLIMY SCAM of a dealership. STAY AWAY! Most used cars are from HERTZ RENT A CAR and you pay top dollar for the beaten pieces of crap. THEN they add on another $1200 in "fees" to protect… the paint for 1 year.. An absolute joke. don't take my word for it. you'll see.Poor customer service
by campk2015 on 01/22/2016The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because I ended up with a good price on the car I bought here. Every other aspect of my purchase was a 1-star experience. I came in to test drive a truck (which I eventually bought).… When I first walked into the used car showroom (after making an appointment) I stood for 10 minutes before I was approached to see if I needed assistance. Once I decided to buy the truck, the experience continued to sour. When I told the finance manager that I was financing through my personal bank, he seemed to be insulted by me and became very short with me. I thought it was very odd that I was treated so poorly. I had to ask for him to copy the title paperwork so I could then get the loan (rather than him offering or knowing how to complete the process). He seemed more intent on getting me out of his office quickly . The title paperwork they provided was missing a page. Both my bank and myself struggled to get a response from either my sales rep or the finance department for several days. Once I received the correct paperwork, I went to pick-up my vehicle a week later on a Monday evening. I gave the same finance manager the full payment for the vehicle and signed all the paperwork , but he told me that there wasn't a notary working that evening to notarize the paperwork. In my experience, I know that technically a notary isn't supposed to notarize documentation that they don't personally witness being signed but I just wanted the process to be done at this point and didn't raise the issue. The finance manager told me that he would Fed-Ex the completed paperwork and title to me the next day (Tuesday) and I would get it Wednesday or Thursday. After three days (on Friday), I called and emailed the finance manager to find out what happened. When I did not receive a response, I had to call the dealership multiple times over multiple days and each time there was a different story (i.e. the finance manager uses a separate Fed Ex account and they couldn't give me a tracking number, the finance manager is on his day off, the finance manager has been out sick a few days). After 4 days, I was able to get a hold of the finance director who then tracked down my paperwork which had never been sent. I appreciated that he figured it out and called me back, but I was extremely disappointed with the whole process and upset that I was lied to by multiple staff about both my paperwork and the finance manager's whereabouts. Most importantly, the finance manager who dropped the ball never responded to my calls/emails. Very tellingly, I never received an apology for this being such a hassle from anyone I spoke to. "Sorry" goes a long way to repairing mistakes in my opinion. I wouldn't go back here in the future to either buy a car or have service done. I've never had to do more legwork to buy a car and never dealt with a dealership that was so unenthusiastic about dealing with a customer. I didn't mention the finance manager's name or my sales reps' name in the review as I believe that although both of them did not do a good job, the responsibility for making sure that they do rests squarely on the dealership.$1000 in hidden fees????
by vanillagoril on 01/10/2016First, they don't budge on the price, even though they had to jump the car to get it started BEFORE and AFTER the test drive. Next, they advertise a price of $7400, then they tell you there's a $500 Document fee, plus a $500 fee for… freaking nitrogen in the tires and other crap that's, allegedly, already been completed. Price of the car increases by 14%!! And finally, they offer us 1/3rd of the trade in value of our car.A sorry excuse for a company
by hb72083 on 09/09/2015Woburn Toyota is an organization fraught with disorganization, false statements and rude behavior. Visiting this dealership after driving by I spoke with a saleswoman. Test drove the vehicle I was interested in and sat down to see the… options available to me to LEASE. The saleswoman was nice but knew very little about the car I was looking into. She had to frequently ask other salesmen around her for answers. We filled out the application and put down over a $1700 deposit. Day after day went by with no information regarding my application. We tried numerous times to get through to someone but I never got a call or email back regarding anything. My husband spoke with our saleswoman after a couple days of nothing. She didn't have any information for us. I emailed the finance department and no reply back from my emails. (I have the emails sent to them still with no reply) Eventually my husband spoke with a sales manager regarding our problem. After almost a week we were told that with our credit/income we were unable to qualify for a lease, that if we wanted to try with a co-signer that we could do that. So my mother offered to be a cosigner for a LEASE. After my mother filled out the application online for a lease. We were told it was approved, (8 days laters). We went into the dealer to sign the paper work, and was told by the finance department that our loan was approved for $28,997 (about) from a few banks. We asked what loan? We were only applying for a LEASE. One bank, one place, one credit run. We were told by the finance guy that it was processed as a purchase not a lease. That we weren't approved for the LEASE only to purchase. That he was told to process it as a purchase. Then he back tracks himself saying that he didn't put it through as a Lease. We NEVER EVER agreed to purchase and never told them that we would want to purchase. (If I wanted to purchase I would have went through my bank which is where I got all my other car loans from). At that point we asked to speak with a manager and the manager came in and went through everything and apologized he said it looks like someone made a mistake and it was put through as a purchase not a lease. HE SAID IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE! That someone working on this deal NOT HIM he said screwed up. Being the manager we told him that it was his responsibility to oversee everything being the manager. He just kept telling us it was not his fault. Well who's fault is it then? We never told them to run our credit through 6 different banks. Running our credit score down. We told them that we wanted a LEASE specifically because they only go through one place TOYOTA!! At this point we told them that we were contacting our lawyer and that we wanted his card he would not give us his card and said that he didn't have one. HA HA HA! A Manager of a car dealership doesn't have a card OK! He told us we could speak to Diane "the assistant general manager". She is a joke. She "TRIED" to rectify the situation telling us she could get us a loan if we still wanted to go through with it. Which who would want to deal with anything from any of them with all the lie's they told us. We told her we wanted our deposit back now. She said she couldn't do that because the office wasn't open (On Labor Day) we were told that we could come the next morning to pick up the check. We went to pick up check later in the afternoon after work and was told that our deposit was not ready and that Diane was away on a trip. We were treated very rudely by Diane. The whole place is a joke. We were approached by numerous salesman while walking out (probably since they heard us flipping out) asking us what was going on telling us to call them later in the evening that they could help us out at another dealership. They all agreed that the place was a horrible place to buy a car from. If the sale people don't even agree with the company they are working for why would anyone want to buy a car from there? I am warning you! READ THIS! This is not a joke it is complete fact! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. LIES LIES LIES. GO ON BBB.ORG. I wish I did before hand. I have still not received my deposit and they are giving me all different excuses everyday as to why it is not ready to be picked up. I am contacting the Attorney General tomorrow.Extremely bad service and no respect for customer
by veer2 on 06/30/2015Worst experience ever. Never recommend even visiting this guys. Had gone with family to look at used Honda Odyssey. We went to see the Jeremy Kelley and he handed us to some one who did not even know how to talk. When Jeremy said can you… take care of him and he said "you want me to smack him"...wow here I am to buy a car with my family and it look like I am in wrestling showroom. Now we test drive that car and saw pink stains on the carpet and one of the blinds needed some work and cosmetic damages and I just asked him with all this is price the same. We did not even say anything and he started you wasted my time internet price is not negotiable...wow only if put the picture of pink carpet we would have not bother to see the car and waste our time. After all this I asked Jeremy what is that person's name I need to mentioned in yelp he just walked away and that guy was non stop blabbering.......also I need to research as I taught odyssey have timing belt and this guy told me it has chain.....never never never go here ...no respect for customers..Sales experience great; pickup had a bump
by sayliz on 08/18/2014AJ was super when we test drove and bought a certified used Prius. Would recommend him. But after hearing multiple times about their 160+ point inspection to be certified I was disappointed to find that when we picked up the car it didn't… have a manual. Since it's my first hybrid the manual is a critical item. He said he'd get us one and mail it but 1.5 weeks later we still don't have it. Other than the missing manual it was a positive experience."The Car Buying experience"

by svb68 on 01/07/2010Went there for a used 2009 Corolla. First the price on the window was rather high. Then I saw it on the net for 3000 !!! less. I called the person I visited the first time and left him a message. No one called me back in two days, after… which I called the number listed on the net ad. Scheduled an appointment, everything was right, and then... I wanted to start a price negotiation, they didn't budge. Tried again by upping the price I was willing to pay, in vain. Instead, they started to apply the last century sales man tricks, like talking to the manager, going to the cooler, figuring out my monthly payments, the manager personally crying over not making a profit out of me, etc. They even tried to trick me into "taking the car home to show it to my wife" and then forcing to buy it by their terms. So, I simply walked out. Interestingly, the first guy that didn't return my call before, called the same evening, playing hurt feelings why I haven't gone to him!!! And the most interesting part. I bought the same Toyota from a different dealer and from curiosity looked up the Woburn Toyota ad again. What a surprise! They have lowered the price to EXACTLY the same I have offered them a week before. What can I say, [violative content deleted].Waste Of My Time
by da11 on 07/26/2009I went to this dealership. Looked around in the lot, went into the showroom, walked around a couple of times. No one even acknowledged my presence. Not even a Hi!. I left. I just bought a new Rav4 from [another dealership].Overpromised & Under Delivered
by JohnODon on 02/15/2009Big selection of cars but overpromises over the internet to get you into the dealership. When I arrived at the dealership the price for the car and trade in were very high and no where close to being competitive with the dealers in the… area.A good car dealer
by kelvin458 on 08/17/2008I received an internet price quote from Woburn Toyota. I went there and showed them the quote. They accepted it right away and I bought my Sienna from them. The sales process was smooth and straight forward. If you're looking for a good… car buying experience, I would suggest this dealer.Think twice before buying vehicles from Woburn Toyota (Woburn Foreign Auto)
by hybrisan on 06/12/2008I bought an used Camry from them. The way they treated their customers change dramatically before and after the deal is made. These are the events that pissed me off. 1. I took the train all the way from Boston to Woburn. The Woburn… train station is still 2 miles from Woburn Toyota. They only offered me the ride BEFORE but not AFTER the deal is made so that I had to walk. Amazing customer service, huh? 2. After paying for the car, I went all the way to Woburn again. The salesman that sold me the car was not around to look after some defects I found in the car. Other salesmen couldn't care less to help me. 3. Finally I had to bring the car back some other time. Only to find that the diagnosis and repair took FOREVER!!! Either their efficieny was LOW or I was completely ignored. I truly regret buying my car from Woburn Toyota. So please, your money would be definitely worth more anywhere else. There is a Reason to Review my Experience at Woburn Toyota:
by lindseyg1 on 11/22/2013updated 04/25/2025We were in search of a new vehicle. We had previously been to 3 different dealerships, and other dealership sales pitch was very sloppy pushy. We called at Woburn Toyota and happened to talk to a great Sales person who was not only willing… to help us out but spend time to go through and narrow down our search in selection of Vehicle. I was very impressed and made me to choose visit Woburn Toyota. Infect I don't even live close by But i was very comfortable driving there after talking to this sales person name Ricky A. He was not only respectful but professional toward his job. I was with my husband, We found 3 vehicles that we really liked, Ricky went through whole process and options in the vehicle with us and upon request were able to test drive the vehicle without the sales rep riding with us. I like this option, because it allows you to really check out everything in the vehicle. In past experiences, the sales rep would move you along quickly not letting you fully check out the vehicle. After we found a vehicle that was a perfect fit for our family, we sat down and discussed our options. Ricky A. was out main point of contact, and he understood our need for a new family vehicle. He had some price for purchasing vehicle in our mind but his suggestion and offer for Lease was Impeccable. He explained every thing in detail. We never thought before but after talking to Ricky, we took his best suggestion. I was stressed as the main of the household to provide reliable transportation for my family. He over backwards to ensure that all avenues were thrown into the mix to give us the best chance. Ricky even took the time on his day off to contact me, and update me on what needed to be done to get through this process. There isn't any dealership within the surrounding area that provides as good as service as this dealership we had with this Gentleman. I would highly recommend it, and they take all the stress out of buying a vehicle. We highly recommend this dealership as well as Nicest sales person Ricky A. to work with. He made our Vehicle buying Experience "Absolutely Stressed Free" Thanks Woburn Toyota & Thank you Ricky!Terrible
by squire52 on 12/13/2013updated 04/25/2025Trying to buy a used car from these people. They don't have the title from the trade in. Still waiting. Its been 8 days. Worst experience of my life. Don't go there. Bad newsGreat experience!
by kspinosa on 12/12/2013updated 04/25/2025I just picked up my brand new 2014 Toyota Corolla two days ago and I couldn't be happier! My car buying experience at Woburn Toyota far exceeded my expectations. Not only was Mo, my salesman, kind and understanding, but he also allowed me… to make my own purchase decision and gave me the time I needed to do so. Never once did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. I was also able to negotiate to receive a monthly payment that I could manage along with my many other monthly expenses. I highly recommend Woburn Toyota (and Mo!) for anyone looking to purchase/lease a new or used car. I know I will continue to go hear for my future car purchases.

Sir, We told you that we were waiting on the title from the bank at the very beginning of the process and you chose to purchase the vehicle anyway. This review makes it seem like you had no idea that we were waiting on the title. We have absolutely no control over how long it takes for the bank to send it out. As far as it being the worst experience of your life, We feel that you are being a bit unfair to us as you knew everything going into the deal. We understand that we can not make everyone happy all the time, however, this issue is something that is beyond our control. If there is anything more we can do that is under our control please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank You.
