by MWPutnam on 05/30/2017I recently purchased a Kia Sorento and while out of town the car was delivered to my house. When I returned and saw the car it was the wrong color. This mistake was compounded because the car had been titled in my name. The sales manager… found a solution for the problem and exchanged the car for one with the correct color. During this time Kia increased the dealer rebate by $500 and I was given a check for the new rebate amount. Had they not mentioned this I would not have known of this increase, and would not have asked for it as the mistake was part my fault and part theirs. Travis Olson spearheaded the exchange for me and he was professional and most concerned about my satisfaction. The dealership is new, well organized with friendly professional people, I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.Great Service

Ryan took the time to overnight my 2nd IL license plate that the dealership forgot about to me and paid for my parking ticket I received because… of it. When we arrived, We were greeted at the door with a smile. We told them we had an appointment, and we were directed… to James. James was completely ready for us. He had already updated our information in the system and we were immediately ready to take a test drive. As soon as we got back from the test drive. we were directed to the customer waiting area with all sorts of complementary drinks (including the very important coffee) and snacks. We talked dollars for a few minutes, ran a few numbers, and within moments we had a deal we could all agree with. The paperwork process went very smooth. Shout out to Cody for explaining everything and not hesitating with all the questions we threw his way. We have been through the "dealership process" three times before today. This was by far the most enjoyable experience. We went into Seelye for the very first time today because they had the car we wanted on their lot. But due to being in a recent accident and being carless I was on a bit of a time table. Ryan was beyond helpful. This man showed me the ways of a company that cares for their employees as well as one of the last few companies that still can say made in America. It… was an absolute joy coming here to buy a car. Sad thing is we started at the Ford dealership across the lot... After 30 min of waiting we decided to walk over to see what kia had to offer. Well the walk was worth it we ended up walking into the garrulous arms of Mr James Campbell. This man managed to take us from buying used to getting a brand new car. He and the Seelye team really took care of me; they made it easy and I didn't feel pressured! Got me into a 2014 Ford Explorer… that I absolutely love. He introduced himself to me in a respectable manner that made my day tremendously better. Every… question I had was answered in the most diligent way. I advised Mr. Mares that I was looking for a new vehicle and I wanted to trade my old one in. He took me inside and we went over every alternative to getting a new vehicle. Mr. Mares tried very hard to give me what I was wanting and I appreciated his effort and hard work. Just when I got all the paperwork to Mr. Mares, he looked at me and said, " Paul! we are getting you a new vehicle and I will not give up"! He worked and worked and worked around what I was looking for and finally got a deal back within minutes! He called me up, ON THE SAME DAY I WAS LOOKING FOR A VEHICLE and told me, "come back! we got you a vehicle!" I was so happy and shocked to receive such a great help from not only Mr. Mares, but the ENTIRE dealership!! So I came back and what was waiting outside?! a 2017 Ford Escape!! I was soooo happy and filled with joy that I couldn't believe how big of a help Mr. Mares and Seelye Ford of Kalamazoo was!! They didn't have what I wanted but he kept searching. Even though they… didn't have the vehicle I was looking for he went above and beyond to help me know what I was getting into when I was buying from another dealer. He was honest. Most dealers lie and talk out of their butt, but John wasn't like the normal salesman. I felt like he truly wanted to help ME, not his pocketbook.
