    Purchase experience was quite positive. All staff was very personable, accommodating and helpful. Very evident that they want to sell vehicles and keep your business. Of course it helps that I'm very happy with the 2022 Ford Maverick that was purchased. I had not been to LaFontaine Ford of Lansing before.

    Went in to discuss trading currently owned car. I met with Adam Pouget. I wanted to return to leasing a car and his suggestions on the type of car that may suit my needs were favorable. He worked hard to get the price I could afford so I am now leasing a 2028 Ford Escape. His after purchase follow-up has been timely and has served my interest.

    After a recent car accident, I was in need of a vehicle. I wasn't able to drive to see the vehicles available. The staff took the time to send me videos of the inside of the one I wanted. We were able to sign documents via email and they even delivered the Explorer to my home! Wonderful customer service. Thank you to Jenny!
  • Worst dealership ever.

    They are the worst dealership out there. I dealt with 2 of their dealerships. The one in Lansing and the one in birch run. The one in Lansing told me they had found me a truck with the features i want and the color I wanted and they sent someone to another dealership to go get it. I sat there for 4 hours waiting.When they got back with it it was missing most of the options I had specifically told them i wanted. I was mad so So i went to a different dealership and got my truck. I left them a Google review and a manager reached out to me apologizing. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them another chance when we were looking for a new explorer for my wife, who at the time was my fiance. Then their dealership in birch run screwed up something with the credit app because i have great payment history with ford motor credit but they denied it. Ultimately i went over to kia of Jackson and they immediately apprved me for a similar sized vehicle. We got my wife a sorento hybrid. They did advise me to do it in my name only and not in both my wife and my name because my credit was better and it would get us a better tier rate or something. Maybe ford would have approved us for an explorer if we tried it in just my name. Im thinking they probably wold have. But lafontaine never even sujusted trying that. Dealers are supposed to know that stuff. I talked to my sister who has bought vehicles from lafontaine kia and jeep dealerships including her wagoneer, and the telluride she had before that. she thought it is messed up the way they treated me and no longer wants to give business to any lafontaine dealership. Going forward. I will continue to do everything I can to let as many people as possible know about my bad experiences with lafontaine automotive groups dealerships.

    Theol overall buying experience was fine. My only 2 issues were that I sat for over 2 hours waiting to get to the financing part and didn't hear the actual offer until then. It was the week of Thanksgiving and they were a bit understaffed. But the deal was fair and I live the truck

    Been using this service department 15+ years, they have always followed through with what I needed done. 100 plus visit’s and I can count on one hand the few mistakes or mishaps that have been. Truly a story of not judging a book by its cover. The shop may look old, outdated lacking but the people inside the service department make up for that!! Thank you and as discussions lately with the new location coming, please make sure to not change the core.

  • Terrific Customer Service and Repair Work at LaFontaine Ford of Lansing

    From the after-hours drop off of our 2012 Ford Explorer, to inspection, receipt of quote, repair, and pick up, we had a great experience at LaFontaine Ford in Lansing, Michigan. After our alternator seized up and belt broke at 132,000 miles, we needed to have our workhorse-like family Explorer serviced. We were able to conveniently drop off the vehicle after hours on a Sunday evening, with requested inspection and repair notes. Our Service Advisor (Michelle) was wonderful to work with as she kept us posted on the inspection, recommended repairs, and time line for completion. In turn, the Service Technicians sent a video of the inspection, also correctly identifying that our front suspension/tie rods needed to be replaced. We had previously noted play and a clunking sound in the front suspension. We quickly approved the recommended repairs, and were kept apprised of when the work would be completed. Our Service Advisor and the Service Manager (Andrew Burgett) were highly professional, personable, and responsive. They make terrific frontline ambassadors for LaFontaine Ford and the LaFontaine Family of Dealerships. Can't beat the service, quality of work, and professionalism! Great experience.

    The recent purchase of my Ford F-150 Lightning was made even better by the outstanding service and attention to detail at LaFontaine Ford of Lansing. Everyone from the sales team and the finance office made of the overall experience one I will always remember. I would highly recommend LaFontaine to anyone who is looking for a new car or truck.

    The service department is great. Michelle is a "rock star" She has helped every step of the way not only with this vehicle but my 60 others. Service techs do a great job it gets fixed the first time, running a fleet the down time is my nemesis so getting it fixed right the first time is a huge help. I am super pleased with the whole staff including sales. Thanks for all you do!!!

    I went in for an oil change on my Escape and came out with a 2018 F150! Robert Andrus did a fantastic job listening to me about my needs and wants in a vehicle and were able to get me a quality truck in my price range. They all stayed late to take care of me and this sale and that meant a lot because they could have easily asked for me to come back at a future date. I highly suggest LaFontaine Ford in Lansing as they are one of the few dealerships where the staff listens to the customers and work hard to match the owner with the right vehicle.

    I made an appointment and told them what I was looking for and they had a couple of cars ready for me to review drive and compare. easy to work with and very accommodating. i was so happy with my experience I recommended the dealership to a co-worker. He came in the next day and also purchased a vehicle.

    Andrew is the best! He is always courteous and gives me excellent service. I didn't have an appointment yet he was able to squeeze me in when I showed up without one. Oil change and switching out my old license plate with new and ensuring the service recall was taken care of was quick and efficient.

    Bought Ford F 150 from local Chevy dealer brought to local Ford Dealer for service got the best reception in the service department and great service they are able to meet all needs of there costumers I am a retired truck mechanic

About our dealership
