by MasterRater on 02/05/2015Since my first visit to Marty Feldman Chevrolet, I was impressed with their casual, friendly manner, combined with professionalism and a genuine sense of dedication to pleasing the customer. I've always left there feeling that they've gone… the extra mile to make sure I'm satisfied with the whole experience. Meeting my needs to make sure that I was able to trade in my car and aquire a lease at a price I could afford has been subsequently followed up by the great relationship with their service department. A1 service all around!Service
by khoover on 01/21/2015Took my 2013 Equinox into Marty Feldman for an oil change and tire rotation. Done as a customer wait. In @2 and out by 3.You've been warned!
by Donmarco722 on 12/17/2014Don't write a unsatisfactory survey Marty Feldman sends you in the mail begging you to send back. What they did was blackball me from going to any Feldman Chevy dealers saying they dont want another bad survey. (Wheel vibration is a known… issue with 2014 Impala's) Surveys are for the consumers to express their opinion ,correct? I tried to take my 2014 Impala to Liberty Chevy for recall 14471 and was denied service by service Manager Tom Bennett who left a (voicemail) on my phone saying Liberty couldn't service my car due to a bad survey wrote on Feldman Chevy....what? It's not my fault their service techs are inexperienced and they will always write on their repair copys," Couldn't duplicate customers claim". My 2014 Malibu has been in twice for the HVAC cutting completely off. Go elsewhere...you have been warned!!!Juvenile Salesman
by Guerni on 11/13/2014My experience with your dealership was not favorable. The sales associate I was assigned to assist me in finding a vehicle was belligerent, immature, and condescending. A week prior to my appointment, I was left a voicemail by him reminding… me of the wrong appointment date-this should have tipped me off that I was dealing with someone who was completely incapable of any level of professionalism, but regardless, last week on a Saturday I came to your dealership to discuss what vehicle options were available to me. After waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, the man I was supposed to be meeting with finally introduced himself to me as Brian Graham and promptly excused himself. He was closing a sale with a previous client (Had I not seen this first hand, later on I would have thought this man incapable of any sort of sales). When we finally sat down to discuss what I was looking for in a vehicle, I was met with condescending remarks in response to any decision I made-If I preferred a light, almost white interior, too bad. It only comes in grey. If I prefer the Malibu, well he owns a Saturn Aura, and it's the same car...just better. We began to discuss financing, and despite my excellent credit score and several years of stable employment as a professor at a prominent University, he told the best he could do on a 2008 Malibu with over 90,000 miles was $300 a month with $3000 down. Absurd. When questioning his calculations, I was repeatedly told, "I think you just don't understand". I would later find out through his supervisor that his calculations were blatantly wrong. Additionally, I was looking to trade in my current vehicle. "Let me show you something" he said, and proceeded to take me outside in freezing rain just to point out everything he saw wrong with it aesthetically. Asking if it had been in any accidents, I replied, "No, it has a clean carfax". His response was a rude, "No accidents? Then where did THIS come from?" as he pointed to a subtle dent, "Or this spider webbing in the paint?"-Was he implying that I was lying, or did he just bring me outside to rudely berate me on the condition of my car? It is a 14 year old car, for christ's sake, and I've only owned it the past 3 years. Furthermore, I would prefer when purchasing a car, to know that more than just the aesthetic qualities of a vehicle are considered prior to the purchase or re-selling of that vehicle. I was a little taken aback by his attitude, but this was just the beginning. We returned inside so he could run my credit information. Taking my drivers license he disappeared for a good while. By now it's been nearly an hour and a half that I have been inside your dealership. Upon his return, he proceeds to play a childish game of constantly tugging my license away from me when I reach out to take it, "...This is ridiculous!" I yell, incredulous and obviously disgusted. He relinquishes my license, "Gotta have some fun!"-Fun? Was this man a hired party clown or was he here to sell me a car? Looking back, I suppose I should have demanded my keys at this point and salvaged the remainder of my weekend. But I digress. By now my patience is gone with this gentleman. We begin to discuss the trade in value of my car. He tells me he's looking at $500, but despite being here an hour and a half, it hasn't even been evauluated yet. Really? I tell him I could sell my car as scrap or have it parted out for that much, and it's in good running condition-In fact I've placed several thousand dollars over the past couple years into fixing and maintaining this vehicle, because quite frankly, I like it. He leaves to speak to his boss and "see what he can do". Returning to the table, he takes the paper with my license information, and folds it in half. "Pick a number!"-I don't have the patience for this, what's next? Is he going to ask me to choose a card? Pull a rabbit out of a hat? Absurd. He flips the paper over to reveal "$1000" Oh boy. I realize now it is to my benefit to sell the car myself if these are the games that I have to deal with. This meeting is increasingly becoming a waste of my time. This is not what he wants to hear, and he starts getting belligerant, raising his voice to me he smirks, "A waste of your time??". He condescendingly asks me how many cars I've sold. He then tells me my car would go for no more than 800$ on the private market and threatens to pull up Craigslist on his computer to prove his point. I tell him to go ahead. The day prior, there were 8 listings for similar or lesser quality cars of the same model going for $1600-Not a rate I would expect a dealership to pay, but a value I am confident I could get myself. This stops him from pawing at his keyboard and I demand my keys back in frustration so I can leave. Gladly, that was the last I saw of this remarkable idiot, as the man who returned in his place was the manager of the used cars department. When asked what the issue was, I told him frankly, "I do not like the person I have been dealing with". His response was a breath of fresh air, "Well then let's get you a new guy!" Great, are you that guy? "I can be if you'd like me to be!". Might I say, he was a pleasure to work with. He spoke respectfully and explained things clearly. He also informed me that the rate I had been quoted by Brian, did not sound right at all, and the quote he provided me was far less than the value I had been told previously and accurate to any loan calculations done at other dealerships. I left without buying a car, mainly because I was so put off by the man I had dealt with originally. I felt embarrassed for him, and disgusted at the way he behaved toward customers. He ruined any confidence I had in your dealership to handle transactions in a fair and professional manner.Avoid at all costs
by dongemus on 10/22/2014We bought a used 2011 Forester on 10/1/2014. The experience was OK. I might go there again if they had the right car. (edit: I would not go there, read below) Pros: *We had a question about the car. I was able to ask online and had a… friendly and complete answer 90 seconds later. *Bob Straub was our salesman. He was laid back, eager to help, and answered all of our questions * We were able to make a deal that day, even staying after close Cons: *The finance agent, Ryan Benard, said he wanted to get us out "as quickly as possible" then talked us to sleep for over 70 minutes. He is a wide eyed professional sales person, he is very good at his job. Unfortunately he was WAY too aggressive, even worse he was predatory pushing warranties and other services that we didn't want or even need: He would quickly switch numbers from totals to monthly payment trying to trick us. I am sure he takes advantage of a lot of people who are just bad at math. If there was a single reason that I would never go back to Marty Feldman, it would be Ryan. *The car we bought was for sale there over a month, yet there were still huge piles of rotting crumbs in the back seat fold down cup rest, there was no windshield solvent, no gas, and the tire pressure guages did not work properly, etc. Just a little TLC would have shown that they cared for my experience with my car, but it doesn't feel that way. Bottom line, it won't be terrible but you better be ready to tell your closing guy that your leaving if he doesn't shut up and plan on doing your own car inspection, they don't. ***UPDATE 10/21/2014: I have called the dealership 3 times and and left a message with their online answering service and no one has returned my call. On top of that I was told my permanent license plate would be mailed to me. My temporary plate has now expired 6 days ago and I am driving illegally with no idea where the plate that I already paid for is? Apparently I am going to have to go yell at someone face-to-face to get any service whatsoever. Bottomline, just stay away from this place.Sales Review
by brucec8 on 07/30/2014My salesman Bob was very thorough and professional. He demonstrated a sincere interest in making the sale on my terms. I recommend Marty Feldman and the salesman Bob for new car purchase.Equinox
by Kdi_consultant on 07/26/2014I was looking for the AWD Equinox, visited a couple dealers and liked the Marty Feldman's relax environment, informative and test drove the Equinox 1LT again there...love the vehicle!! I like felling that I am the one who made my own… decision what I wanted and can afford. I do feel that doing business at Marty F. dealership. Financing was quick, efficient and non-pressured. Drove the Equinox now for couple weeks to work and back now, both highway and local bumpy roads due to constructions; the vehicle drives fantastically. Will stick with Marty Feldman for my next car :)Excellent as Usual
by Pattyemom on 06/25/2014I originally contacted a different dealership and went around and around for several days trying to get the vehicle I wanted to lease at the payment I could afford. Talked to the guy once on the phone can he texted me after that. I got fed… up and called Marty Feldman Chevrolet. I've always had a good experience with them. My only reason for trying the other dealer was it was closer to my office. Anyway, I made one call to Feldman and told them what I wanted and how much I could afford. I got it...in one call. Feldman is the best!Satisfied Service
by khoover on 06/17/2014Recently took my Trailblazer into Marty Feldman Chevrolet. Service was good and done promptly.Don't Waste your time
by bearchluck on 02/23/2010Do not buy from this dealer. I was shopping for a used car and found one at a dealer out of state, but still within driving distance. I call a few local dealers to see if they would beat the price and Marty Feldman said they would. I was… on my way to take a look at the car and the salesman called me to see if I was coming because he had someone at their sister dealer wanted to see the car. I informed him I was on my way. I get to the dealer and my salesman informs me that his sales manger would like to speak to me. The sale manager tells me that he shipped the car before my sales man could let him know I was coming, but they would give me a good deal for my troubles. So they have a comparable vehicle with a tad more miles and a little more expensive (don't know how that works both vehicles had the same equipment) than the one I originally wanted to look at. Take the vehicle for a drive and get back to the dealer and make an offer to salesman. He goes and talks to his manager and I hear the manager yelling in his office. He comes out of his office and proceeds to make a scene in the showroom. He asks me what type of car I'm looking for, then tries to sell me a completely different type of vehicle. Then he says he has the perfect vehicle at the price I want. I see my sales man pull up a Yellow New Beetle, keep in mind I informed them I was looking for a midsized sedan. I tell my sales man that I am not going to even waste my time and thanked him for his time and proceed to walk out. The sale manager stops me and says he is going to talk to the owner and see if he can get the price approved. The owner won't budge, but I was informed that they will get one in my price range at auction the next day. I get a call from my salesman the next day they have a vehicle comparable to the one I drove with 37,000 miles and silver exterior. I go to the dealer the next day to take a look; the vehicle that the salesman pulls up is dark gray with more miles and a different trim with less equipment. I take it for a drive and when I get back I am informed that they want more for the one I drove with less equipment and more miles than we originally agreed to. What a waste of my time.Horrific customer service - Terrible ethics!
by michiganpro on 05/06/2009I made the mistake of recently purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. The entire staff was rude, arrogant, and ill-informed, including the dealership owner. I won't bore anyone with the details, but I will tell you to get EVERYTHING in… writing from these people before you arrive sign anything. If you do not do that, be prepared for significant changes to all items -- and NOT in your favor! If you are looking to deal with horrible people and are ready for a high pressure, low ethics sales experience, you have found the right place! Our second time around

by bistro40 on 01/06/2011updated 04/27/2025I bought my 2010 cobalt from Brian Gerts and my service experience was exceptional. All of my paperwork was done effeciently adn the general manager came out to thank me for my purchase (thanks Sean Misko). I have purchased many other… vehicles in the past and have not had the kind of family experience that they made me feel at Marty Feldman Chevrolet. I was taken on a tour of the dealership and introduced to all of the people that will be providine me Service in the future and they were all friendly and seemed please to have my business even tho I had only purchased a entry level Cobalt. I have already sent 2 of my family members in to see Brian and they both ended up buying cars from him. Kudos to the entire staff at Marty Feldman for your commitment to superior customer service.New 2014 Equinox
by Stan755 on 04/16/2014updated 04/27/2025I bought my new Equinox on the Vernal Equinox (March 21st) and have been very happy with the purchase. The vehicle has less than 1000 miles and is already getting up to 27 miles/gallon. Not bad for an all wheel drive SUV.2014 Equinox
by BOBBALLINGER on 04/14/2014updated 04/27/2025Went into Marty Feldman Chevrolet to trade in a 2010 EQ LT1. Got a great trade-in allowance for it, and drove out in a new 2014 EQ LTZ.new Spark

Great Service at Marty Feldman Chevrolet
by mneville on 11/03/2011updated 04/27/2025When I purchased a vehicle from Tom Dennis at Marty Feldman Chevrolet, I was introduced to Jeff Zajac as a preferred Service contact. Good call. Jeff followed through on all my service needs, and delivered service on time. Very good service… received.Disjointed service department
by pepler on 03/15/2014updated 04/27/2025I bought a vehicle from this dealer in February 2013. The experience was pleasant so when it came time for an oil change I went to their website, printed out their coupon for an oil change and tire rotation and then made an appt over the… web. I rec'd the confirmation email the next day and all was well. Or so I thought it would be... On the day of my appt I arrived on time and found a disintered tech who wrote up the SR while *twice* ignoring my request to add a note stating that the tires had already been previously rotated front to back and only needed to be criss-crossed in the front. Only after looking him in the eye and making it clear that I actually expected him to listen to my input did he add a hand-scrawled note in pen with this (*after* completing it and printing it out first sans notes, of course). Despite the bad feeling I find myself suddenly fighting I think okay, I'll just wait and see how this turns out. So we sit in the lounge and wait....and wait. And wait. Finally, after nearly an hour-and-a-half someone finally calls my name (this was only to be an oil change and partial tire rotation, after all). I go to the cashier at the back of the lounge and pay the bill. The service guy who called my name is now nowhere to be found. So I go back to the garage area, find my car (with big greasy handprints on the driver's door). The guy who wrote up my SR looks down and away every time I make eye contact with him. Okay, that doesn't necessarily mean anything, right? I drive off with nary a word from any of the service personnel. I drive about a mile away, pull into a lot and check the tires. NO sign of rotation. I check the receipt. NO mention of a partial rotation at all. I then decide to see if they even bothered to reset the engine oil life monitor. Nope, still shows 9% instead of the 100 or 99% it should. Clearly, I'll not be returning to this dealer for service nor will I recommend that anyone else go either. Quite the contrary, in fact. A most unsatisfactory experience I had at Marty Feldman Chevrolet. At least they actually changed the oil.Very Impressed
by sbatner on 12/14/2010updated 04/27/2025I purchased a Camaro from Marty Feldman Chevrolet in October and I couldn't have been treated better! Great experience all the way around. I just had the oil changed and that was great too! Thanks Cole!Equinox
by bawb44 on 04/23/2013updated 04/27/2025Received feedback on my email search and Tom D. set up an appointment for my wife and me to test drive the car. Not only did we test drive the car but it was the exact model and color that my wife wanted. We bought the same day. I did… compare prices/leases at other dealers and this was the best oneThanks for doing business with Marty Feldman Chevrolet! We do our best to offer the lowest price and also to create a pleasant buying environment for our customers. Congrats on your new Equinox! If you have any questions please come back to see us. by StephS88 on 04/13/2014updated 04/27/2025I had never bought a car before and was really anxious about the process. When I went to the dealership I was approached by Kelly D and immediately she made me feel comfortable. I felt like she was able to match me with the perfect car. She… was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products. I ended up getting a Cruz Eco and love it. I am very happy with my experience at Marty Feldman Chevy and will definitely be a repeat customer.
