by MRRONBRO on 08/04/2017Was out comparison shopping the last week of July 2017. Saw all the ads on TV for unbelievable deals/specials. Went to the MH website, clicked on sales, was connected to Jackie W. direct email. Spelled out that I was a GM retiree,… desired car/suv budget must have features. She responded with in the hour! I was 61 miles away getting very close to a deal on a Buick Encore. Jackie dropped me a follow up email, wondering my intentions and time frame. Also if she could earn my business with a $800 Down $209 price point on a 2 year lease. This was at 2:45 pm on 7.29.17 I responded how late are you open? 4pm I arrived at 3:20 She had the 2017 Equinox Prepped Washed Ready We took it for a ride on I-75 north and south And took it for a ride over 11 mile road and the service drive, which is rough road and it performed well. Returned , made the deal, met with finance guru Michael Lowe Multiple rebates were available , including turning in a competitors lease , for $1500 We scheduled a 9:30 pick up for 7.31.17 As all promotions changed on 8.1.17 Jackie gets 100 bonus points for not once: Wasting my time Being Honest Upfront and candid 100% genuine & sincere Since the purchase less than 4 days ago, I have had positive followups from Jackie and Miss Kay Hargreaves Also very noteworthy Upon taking delivery of the Equinox Jackie took us on tour of the dealership, introducing us to porters, service and parts personnel .Great Experience

From the young lady at the front desk, my sales person Bryan N, explained everything on my Silverado, answered my… numerous questions(even the next day, when all was said and done), Eric the young man who handled my trade(thanks for the great deal!), Lisa in the finance department..I've never been in and out of a finance office so quick! But I never felt rushed. Quite the opposite, she explained everything in great detail, and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. by chenjeff2 on 05/09/2017I went into Matthews-Hargreaves to sell my vehicle after receiving an instant cash offer from Kelly Blue Books website. I was told to meet Tom Schneider but he was too busy so I met with Frank Buscemi. Frank took down my information and… asked for the keys and said he would be right back. After a little bit he returned saying that he had bad news. My car had an airbag recall (Takata) on it and that the car was unrepairable. Frank said that he would only be able to offer me $1,000 today as the car could not be fixed. He was so sure that the car was unrepairable that he even printed off the recall to shove it in my face. He must have repeated it almost 10 times that the car was not able to be fixed. I was confused at the time and since he was pressuring me so much, I couldnt even take the time to read or google the recall on my vehicle. I didnt want to settle for just $1,000 so I left to re-evaluate. After a quick call to a Honda dealership I found out that I could get my car fixed the same week. I also googled if the Takata airbag recall was unrepairable for some vehicles and I couldnt find anything on the web that stated that manufacturers were not able to repair the affected vehicles. I really dont know why Frank decided to lie to my face over and over again but now that I think about it more he probably wanted to scare me into selling him the vehicle for such a low price. This is by far the worst car dealership / customer service experience I have ever had. When a person trying to gain your business repeatedly lies to you basically to try to trick you into believing that your vehicle is now worth nothing there is something really really bad going on at that dealership. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS DEALERSHIP!!!Used car bait and switch

Ask about the additional $700 for dealer prep (DAH) and $600 anti-theft "etching". It's like buying a car from your… neighbor, but he adds $500 to the cost for him to wash it. That's part of the cost of selling cars. Don't believe their pricing! They don't negotiate on those things either.They say "yes" where other guys say "we can't"

Granted, I had employee pricing and that removes a lot of haggling but I was still impressed the way they were… willing to do whatever it takes to make me happy.
