by brandonv on 04/14/2017I bought two new vehicles there and one used vehicle from Dodge of Burnsville. The last purchase was the used vehicle and Tom Green was the sales person. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from them again! My last experiences with them is… what gives used car sales people a bad name. Lots of assurances made but none kept. Extra accessories added to purchase were offered "cost" but turned out to be MORE expensive than if I would have walked over to the parts counter and bought them myself. Promised some free items but never received. I also found a couple items defective on my vehicle that were faulty and I was told I would get a discount when I got them repaired. Guess what? I was forced to pay full price then a couple weeks later I got a coupon book in that mail that would have gotten me a $100 off that repair. Too late....Virtually impossible to get phone calls returned. Ordinarily, I would just have just blamed the sales person and not the dealership, except that I talked to two managers there about my issues and they refused to do anything about the problems. I refuse to do business with someone who condones this behavior and cares more about doing and saying what ever it takes to make a sale and cares nothing about customer service and satisfaction.Thank you, Brandon, for reaching out to us. I HAVE tried contacting your management, it did not do any good! If you really cared about resolving this issue instead of pretending to care, you would have tried to reach out to me. You have by info from my past three purchases. If fact, one of your sales people just called my home phone again tonight. I have not tried to get off your contact list and you just won't stop trying to to me.
Sell at all cost, even if they ruin your credit!
by Michael Noskoviak on 04/04/2017updated 04/12/2017Warning! The whole focus of this company is to make sure you walk out with a car, no matter the cost. Let me explain... The good- Our salesman Tom Green was wonderful, we enjoyed our time with him very much and he gave us a good deal on the… Ram truck we were shopping for. The bad- We asked if Dodge does it's own in house financing, we were told - Yes, what we weren't told is there will be strings attached. I'll get in to that in a bit. After the pre-approval part, Tom had to hand us over to the finance lady, walked us over to her office, ..she wasn't ready for us and as we stood in her doorway, told Tom to take us to the lobby and have us sit there. This is after being at the dealership for 4 hours already...This is where the personal connection/relationship was lost... The ugly- The finance lady gave us a high rate, which for an in-house financing dealership should have been better. I asked her if this is the best they could do for us, and she answered dryly, "based on your credit-Yes". Well, we ended up going to a credit union and getting pre-approved for a MUCH lower rate, we are in the process of getting rid of that loan. BUT...the worst thing is when we went to the credit union to get a refi, they gave us a copy of our credit report and that's when we learned THE UGLY...Dodge Ram had run our credit through 8 different banks that day to get us financed and they resulted all in hard inquiry pulls on our credit which dropped our score 26 points... Conclusion: NEVER go to this dealership unless you have your own financing or cash, it is a rip off like no other and as I mentioned above, all the company cares about and focuses on is to make sure you walk out with a car, regardless what that might mean for your financial and credit future!!! This should be illegal, we were not informed our credit was going to be run 8 times!!!Michael, we regret that you had a negative experience with us, but are glad you brought this to our attention. They took the time to address my needs and answered all my questions They helped me better understand the car buying process and… showed me all the features of my new vehicle and how they work. Tom made sure I was one hundred percent satisfied with every aspect of the transaction. Tom also… took care of a couple of friends I referred to Dodge of Burnsville. They were also one hundred percent satisfied. My lease was up recently. I knew I wanted another truck. Dodge of Burnsville was running a great deal on Ram Quads. I called Tom and we found a truck that fit what I was looking for. Once again Tom made sure I was one hundred percent satisfied with everything before during and after the sale. Pete the sales manager at Dodge of Burnsville was also fantastic. Pete and I spent some time on the phone discussing different options that were available as well. Thanks Pete.
