by Luckysevens on 06/16/2017I was in the market for a new Explorer. I found the one I wanted, at another dealership. I contacted them via the internet. Received 3 auto responses and 0 personal responses. But I still went in. The car I wanted, had been lent out. Long… story short, they get it back days later. It's got miles on it, now. I'm going to buy it and they sent it thru the car wash, with the windows down. Told me to give them 3 days to dry it out. Told them I didn't want that car anymore and they weren't happy. How do you think I felt!?!?Fast forward 2 weeks, and I feel I'm getting the run around. So I go to another dealer. They were nice. But just couldn't find me what I wanted. I was referred by a friend, to Matt Muraski at Pundmann. I didn't realize he was the GM. And I said I'm already dealing with 2 other dealers. I do not want to add a 3rd one to the list. But. I bit. After 2-3 weeks of constant let down and headaches, I contacted Matt. From the moment I sent him a text, introducing myself and telling him what I needed and wanted, from the time I made my purchase.....three hours!!! Three! And it was only "that long" bc I was away from my phone for 90 mins of that. He told me he'd buy my current Escape from me, even though there was an unresolved recall on it. (The first dealer wouldn't buy it. Said they couldn't). This other guy couldn't even stand behind his Ford product? Matt sure did. He said "I'm a Ford dealer! I don't care. I'll fix it!" Matt made me a deal better than the first dealer. He kept in contact with me over the course of 6 1/2 weeks, even after I signed the papers (over email!!), letting my know my car being built, had a vin number. And he texted me, letting me know the car was at the railyard in Chicago, ready to come to St. Louis. Matt bought my Escape, from just seeing pictures. He ordered me the exact car I wanted from the specs of the original car I was going to buy from the first dealer. He got me in touch with Loren, who called me to explain the financing process. (Loren wound up being with another customer the day I came in to make the purchase, so I didn't get a chance to work with him, but he was very knowledgable on the phone and told me how my bank worked, better than my own bank explained.) I believe I did my financing with "Mike", but I'm not sure on the name. He was nice and not pushy. And he was fast! My sales guy was Josh. Josh was great. He was so nice. I only dealt with him, the day of the sale, but he showed me everything there was to know, about my new car. He sat there with me and answered any questions I had. He showed me all the bells and whistles. He helped me with my car seats, transferring from one car to another. He told me to call him anytime, I have a question. No matter how little or big the question is. I would have honestly never gone to Pundmann, as they aren't exactly that close to my home. However, they continued to impress me, over and over again. Matt was so personable every time we spoke. This was the most easiest transaction I have ever done!! He kept it so simple. I honestly couldn't believe my car was ordered in less than 3 hours, of my initial contact. The funny thing was, Matt told me to let him know if I was going to go with him, and he'd get the car on order. I called him back, maybe a half hour later and he was already on his way home from work but said "I've already hit the button. Your car has already been ordered." He knew he was leaving work and would be out for a few days, and didn't want my order to be screwed up. And he wanted to get it on order, to hurry up the process. He said "I knew you couldn't pass this up." I said, 'What if I said no?" He said he'd just have an extra Explorer on his lot. I also received a follow up call a couple days after the purchase, making sure everything was great, but I haven't gotten a chance to return the call yet. Well done, Pundmann! I'd give you a 10, if I could! I've already told many people, my experience and how I will be back to Pundmann! Fantastic customer service!!!!!Great service

The most helpful and friendly dealership I have ever done business with. Better than all my… experiences elsewhere, even with BMW. I will gladly recommend them to anyone I know. I can personally also suggest working with Eliot Starr there as well. Even with my indecision in option choices he remained patient and thoughtful. He is an asset to the team there, though everyone from the ownership to the receptionist have always been friendly and efficient.Pundmann Ford

by wicker132 on 08/22/2016updated 08/29/2016What I am not happy about is more a Ford problem than a dealer problem or at least that is what I have been told. My truck at 28000 something miles had brake rotor problems so the dealer turned the rotors. As I see it they should have… replaced the rotors as I have no idea how much they had to take off to fix the problem and now I have rotors equivalent to a truck with who knows how many miles on it. They had to be defective in some way for this to happen in the first place so what happens if it happens again after the 3 year btb warranty and I am told they are too thin to turn again? From the dealers standpoint I should have been advised of this before as I was there. I think they should have miced them and them then told me how much was taken off compared to the oem.Pundmann Ford
