Worst Car Purchase Experience Of My Life
by Joe Spencer on 02/09/2023GOD AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Pushiest Sales Staff EVER. As bad as going into a furniture store. Wanted to leave and think about things and high pressure worked and I made purchase and left regretting it--especially from Towbin Dodge. They… spent more time worrying about me giving them all 10's on some survey I am going to get than my comfort and wanting to think about the purchase before I made it. I was told I'd get my windows tinted for giving a perfect 10 on the survey. When I said I had a friend who does it then it became they'd throw in a tank of gas for the perfect 10 survey. Out of the four people I dealt with while I was there--the finance guy I signed my paperwork was great (but then again they already had my purchase so of course he is going to be relaxed)--some middle guy they dress up in a chef get up to "deliver the car" was a nice guy but again he was one that made sure I was going to give a 10 on the survey. He even slipped a paper in the middle of some other items for me to sign saying I agreed it was a perfect 10...so when I come back and blast them on the survey they can pull that piece of paper out and be like but he said everything was great. Everything was not great. The sales manager was the worst of the four I dealt with. I should have known better to even go back there--because I walked off their lot just days earlier when the high pressure sales started and two of them were chasing me around the lot as I looked at cars. My actual intent last night was to go to Chapman Dodge but they closed at 6PM. So against my better judgement I went to Tobin and made a purchase that I am not happy with. At least not from them. I would NEVER return here to buy and if you don't care for the high pressure furniture store stalking sales I suggest you go elsewhere. I have purchased multiple cars from Ford Country and love them because they are 100% opposite of Towbin in terms of sales approach. SIDE NOTE: I don't want ANYONE from Towbin contacting me unless it's the owner Chop Towbin himself. I will NOT speak to anyone else.
