Great experience with Peter Shin

Bad Dealership
by MrFishtown on 07/14/2017I bought a 2016 Honda Civic here. I walked in to the dealership with a guaranteed price from my credit union. Salesman Chris Logan said the price was going to be honored. After a long 3 hour wait , I sign the paperwork, with a slipped in… $2000 higher buying price. The office staff did a slop job handling the paperwork. They were supposed to fill out details for the credit Union loan (insurance info, etc) , but they did not. This cost me an extra $342 without good reason. And I go no meaningful details when I would get my real registration. You will get two responses from administration: nothing and attitude. With no written details, I was sent a check from the dealership for $2769, presumably for the around $300 I am legally owed for canceling the extended warranty and the difference of the amount I was guaranteed. The dealership sent a stop payment, costing me an additional $25. If you want psychological and financial games at and after the sale, this is your place.Watch Out! Bait and Switch

I absolutely think this place brings shame to the name of Honda.We were looking for Honda CRV EX-L 2015 and it was listed for 24,994 in TrueCar. Obviously , they said all is good and that's the… price they will honor. We were so happy and excited , and thought yeah that was great deal. No.. Not so fast... My Sales Guy said, I will work on the numbers. Now comes interesting part , here is their break down of their cost. They said , cost of the car is $24,994 Honda Certification($600)(What is that!!) Dealer Prep($995 !!!) Documentation Fee($499) + Tax + Tags.. Essentially we need to pay 2000+ for something we don't know what's it for. SERIOUSLY!!! Honestly, attitude of the manager ( don't want to say the name ! ) was arrogant and had no care attitude. I honestly think they thought I am kind of fool to play into their game. My advice is ,PLEASE DON'T GET TEMPTED BY THEIR ADVERTISED COST! IT"S A BAIT!!! Honda should provide some guidelines and do something about these kind of baiting , cheating , arrogant , terrible and flat-out lying dealership.Thank you!

With all the fees, tax, and warranties and such, the price went up $4,000 higher. The salesman brought the price down to a reasonable number and… I agreed to buy the car for that figure. 4 hours of paperwork later, I noticed the payments weren't adding up correctly. Turns out the salesman lied to my face and switched the price back up to listing price without telling me!!! I walked out. The sales person who claimed his name is Cash was rude to us and said if you are not interested… why dont you loo for somewhere else?!. They cheat people. Me and My friend would never recommend this Davis dealer to anyone
