Great Sales Service
by Budgetminded2023 on 05/12/2023
With my fixed income budget I was only able to extend my current payments a tad. The manager Dennis that I worked with went over several different payment options on 3 different cars and made it work for me. Thank you for spending time… and not pushing me to the side. I love my new Explorer!!! See you for service!!!

HIDDEN AND FORCED FEES
by Moe on 11/11/2023My friends and I made a long drive from Virginia to DCH Ford of Eatontown in New Jersey, enticed by a Mustang listed for $10,700. However, our excitement turned into disappointment when we walked out the door, and noticed the price… skyrocketed to $13,232, not including financing. My experience at DCH Ford of Eatontown in took an even more frustrating turn when I discovered hidden fees and unwanted add-ons. That they added to price of the vehicle In addition to the unexpected price increase. they tacked on an extra $499 for "perma plate," which is an appearance protection warranty that I never asked for, and $399 for "pulse brake," a $40 part that makes brakes flash. Many people in Virginia, including myself, find this feature annoying. These additional charges feel deceptive and made the whole transaction unpleasant. when I confronted them about the additional $499 charge for "perma plate" (Appearance protection warranty). Their response was astonishing: they claimed that this charge is applied to every car they sell, effectively making it a requirement for customers to buy or finance a vehicle but the paper that I received from them in the packet says otherwise I ended up calling the warranty company and they said that this was not required in order to buy a car. I strongly believe that such practices should be illegal, as they clearly lack transparency and customer choice. As I inquired about the $399 charge for 'pulse braking.' To my disbelief, they claimed that this was a feature already installed on the vehicle. However, during my visit to the dealership, no one mentioned or informed me about this feature being installed. Instead, they simply added it to the cost to the vehicle's price and focused on discussing monthly payments. This lack of communication and transparency left me feeling both frustrated and deceived. It's disheartening when a dealership prioritizes hidden costs over open and honest dealings with customers. My overall experience at DCH Ford of Eatontown was marked by these regrettable practices, and I believe it's important for others to be aware of them. To validate my concerns, I contacted several other Ford dealerships in New Jersey. To my relief, they informed me that this practice is not a standard in the industry, and some even cautioned against dealing with DCH Ford of Eatontown. This widespread acknowledgment of the issue further solidified my belief that the dealership's actions were unjust and deceptive.Great Sales Service

by Theo on 03/09/2022Beware of this dealership! The negative reviews are all true — they are a scam operation. I called at 5:30 PM the day before confirming that a vehicle was available, they confirmed that night and again at 10:40 AM the next day. When I… arrived at 12, after driving an hour to get there, they told me the car had been sold. But that I could pay $5000 more for a car I didn't want. The manager and staff consistently lied to us throughout the process and were rude and unapologetic.[non-permissible content removed].. SHADY DEALERSHIP!!
by Jimrae on 08/23/2021DCH FORD IN EATONTOWN!! They are [non-permissible content removed]! They Tell you what you want to hear and then say “we’ll you signed the as is waiver”! We were told the Ford F-150 we purchased went through the 170 point check to insure… there was nothing wrong with it. The moment we drove off the lot and came home we noticed NOTHING WAS DONE TO IT! It was not in any way serviced before we purchased it! When I called the very next day they acted all surprised. We did bring it back to get properly serviced but there was still an issue with the steering. Matt drove it with us in it and stated that there was a problem but then blamed it on the large tires. I spoke directly with the service department who advised me they told Matt it has an issue with the steering. It was not until i pressed the issue did it get fixed but they all acted like they were doing us a favor! Sorry, that’s on them! They shift the blame from one person to the next and keep repeating the same line, “you signed the as is waiver”! The radiator fluid is still brown , the oil dip stick is rusted and broken and the radio is still an issue! That should of been fixed during the 170 point check!!! If I would of know this is how they do business I would of brought the truck back the next day and canceled the deal! Bernard also stated the key was a regular “old school” key that we can get cut anywhere to make a copy as the truck only came with 1 and guess what?? That was a lie! It has a chip in it so that’ll cost us at least $100. The place had no ac, we sat there sweating and quite uncomfortable! It’s very dirty and everyone we have dealt with is beyond unprofessional! We will be actively telling everyone we can about our experience and in all social media sites as well.Poor Business Model
by KV on 10/24/2020Did a virtual showing due to my location. Agreed to purchase. Set a price. Had approved financing. Scheduled a final date to pick up. I had to call them back to find out they sold it to someone else after agreeing to a sale with me. I… offered to give a 10% deposit before knowing about the other buyer. They asked to run my credit at multiple companies when I was already preapproved through one of their lenders. My recommendation is to stay away from [non-permissible content removed] like this. Their word isn't worth anything.
