Wonderful Experience
by Melissa85 on 07/29/2019My experience with Freehold Subaru was excellent. From the moment my husband and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by Lester and Scott who made us feel at home. We worked with Lester to discuss what type of Subaru we wanted and… Lester was quickly able to give us our options. He was able to locate the model of Subaru and package we were interested in very quickly. All the while, Lester made us feel comfortable, engaging in conversation about our family and taking a genuine interest in us as people-not just customers. Within a few days, Lester called and said he had our Forester ready and offered great flexibility of when we could come in to pick it up. On pick up day, Lester had already gotten the paper work ready and set us up with Dave, to go over the financial part of the deal, which we already had agreed upon. The process was quick and Dave was able to answer our last minute questions. We then finished up with Lester giving us our keys and making sure we felt comfortable in our new Forester. Overall, the experience was unlike any other dealership experience I’ve ever had. The staff’s knowledge of their vehicles and packages was very informative. Their patience in working with us was also unlike any other experience we’ve had at dealerships. The sincerity of Lester, Scott, and Dave also made us feel like we were welcomed and at home.Excellent Service

Freehold Subaru was flexible enough to meet me halfway and get me the car I wanted.… Would highly recommend both Carlos and the dealership itself.Empty Promises - poor follow up
by Charles on 07/25/2019Good cars and friendly people but empty promises. They promised a gift card to go though the electronics review thing but then “lost” the card. Every time I ask about it I’m told it’s here or there, with some other guys who’s out right now… or they act confused saying I should have already received it. Similarly I was promised a different card as a referral reward. Well as luck would have it a coworker was looking for a similar car and he bought a few weeks after I did. Again no card sent. When I ask they either ignore it or say it should have been mailed. It’s been months now. Either they are dishonest or someone on the inside is stealing their rewards cards. Either way prepare to be disappointed.Outstanding Service from Freehold Subaru

I worked with Yuliya Shvartsman who was extremely professional, personable, and… understanding to my wants and needs for my next vehicle. She always had all paperwork ready before hand for a smooth and wonderful experience with all visits. Ask for Yuliya when you go! by loukennethisip on 07/01/2019I initially inquired about turning in my leased Dodge Charger and wanted to get into a Subaru Ascent through their website and received a reply via e-mail within an hour. When I set up an appointment, we met Lester right away and began the… process. Previously, with other dealers, the process would take about half a day to complete. Lester ensured we did the test drive and paperwork in a timely fashion, and at the same time making the experience fun. I felt like a made a new friend! We reached the dealer at around 3PM and was gone with the new vehicle by 5:30. This was the quickest I ever did a vehicle trade. by Stormrage on 02/03/2019I went in with internet price, 4.5% below invoice, expecting to have a hard time with a deal that must have had some back-end tactics to make up for cost. I met with Lester who was a great no hassle salesman, did a great job of informing… us and keeping the process going. The internet price was accurate and doc fees were normal for the area. Out the door price was great, seemingly due to end of month sales goal requirements. Hit a bit of a snag with trade in value but they came up reasonably after some deliberation. The paperwork with the finance guy, Dave, Got a little awkward when I wasn't interested in extending the bumper to bumper warranty, gap insurance, etc. I think they were hoping to make up some more profit on that portion, Tom to repeated attempts to tell him no before we could move on. I fear less convicted buyers might get swayed into purchasing something they were not interested in before getting to that final step. Overall though the process was very good, in and out in less than 3 hours including an extensive test drive.Leasing Suburu Crosstrek

by bonnieveltri on 11/07/2018I am a person who really hates dealing with auto dealerships and I have been dreading going to pick out a new car after owning my last car for 13 years, and the last experience was particularly painful; I felt like I was just a number and… that I was shuffled around without anyone caring about me. I never went back to that dealership for service because they left such a bad taste in my mouth. Freehold Subaru welcomed me like I was someone they were looking forward to meeting. I'm always nervous with financing details and PJ DeGrande explained everything so patiently and I really understood what option would be best for me. I decided to get my car that evening and both PJ and Nick Anello made the financing part so easy for me. Thank you so much PJ and Freehold Subaru!
