Everyone we worked with in buying our ne Ford Edge was very friendly. The salesperson did not pressure us at all. Showed us the different Edges in stock and the differences between them. The sales prices they gave us were great. It made… selecting the one we decided to buy much easier for us.

Great Sales Staff at Malouf
by mikettt1 on 11/07/2015I requested a quote from Malouf for a 2016 Ford Escape via email. The sales staff responded to my email within an hour, and worked courteously and efficiently with me over the next week or so, at my pace, to find the Escape that had the… options I wanted. I had a lot of detailed questions and requests and they answered them all thoroughly and patiently. Almost all of my correspondence was done via email and the staff was not pushy. Other dealers were either pushy by pelting me with emails and phone calls or went to the other extreme of giving me a vague generic email quote and then being non-responsive to my detailed questions and requests. After taking my time and shopping around with several dealers and comparing the Malouf quote with other dealers' quotes as well as websites like Edmunds, I found that the Malouf quote came in about $200 below invoice for my particular vehicle. I even had a car-buying deal through Costco that was easily beaten by Malouf. The $1000 rebate from Ford lowered the Malouf price even further, so I feel that I really got a great deal, thanks to the great sales staff. The final transaction was very simple and straightforward. My wife and I just drove to Malouf, confirmed that the vehicle was the one that we had negotiated, and drove away with the new vehicle within 2 hours of arriving (in my case, my deal was probably simpler than most because there was no lease or trade-in involved). Just great! I have been at other dealers where the haggling and paperwork at the dealership took almost the whole day and the experience at Malouf had none of those bad aspects and was a welcome difference. Basically, the courteousness, promptness, and efficiency of the great sales staff at Malouf, and their excellent bottom-line quote, made the car buying experience at Malouf a really great one for me.New Lease form Malouf Lincoln
by maverick33 on 10/28/2015After 3 consecutive leases from another manufacturer & dealer I thought I knew what to expect and was bracing for another negotiation & paperwork ordeal…not in Malouf! Brian Major, our salesperson, was a great help – knowledgeable & very… helpful, made the entire process as easy as possible. Paperwork was done in minutes, not a lengthy process while trying to sell you plenty additional services and options…as in other dealerships. Overall great experience. If you’re looking for an easy & transparent process without “pushy” salespeople (and even “pushier” managers) then do yourself a favor and contact Brian Major & Malouf!The worst

by ron302 on 12/27/2014After a horrible experience with a Ford Dealer in Lawrenceville NJ we went to Malouf Ford.What a joy! The Dealer shared his cost information immediately without our asking. The salesman understood what we were looking for and in four hours… found the exact Fusion we wanted including colors, options etc. He had it on his lot the next day. He even took the initiative to obtain proof of insurance from our agent. The lease cost was $35 /mo. less than the "other guy". It can't get better than this!!!!Staff is in dire need of "Customer Service 101" classses

I purchased they 2008 Mountaineer and the window wouldnt roll all the way up. so i took it to Malouf Ford Lincoln Mercury and they had it fixed they next day by 12 p.m. Then when i had the oil changed they did an inspection because i was in an accident and i had lost the rim on the right front side and they said that the car had major front end damage and i had to get it fixed other wise i was going to have major problems, and they had it fixed in 2 days.Found Malouf Ford to be deceptive
by bigal14 on 06/19/2008I visited Malouf to lease a Ford Edge. The sales rep and his manager gave me a price plus "drive offs" and sales tax (7% of the monthly payment). I told them,truthfully.that I was going to check another brand and if their offer was the… better of the two, I would return the next day. Their deal was the better one so I returned to make the deal. Immediately, I learned that the sales tax was not as stated but was7% of the amount of the vehicle I actually woulld use in 24 months.(substantially higher than I thought) They told me the tax was approximately $900 and could be added to the monthly payment. I said OK and asked for the final amount of the payment. The salesman returned with a figure that was 30%higher than what the additional tax should have been. Upon further questioning, I discovered they were trying to double charge me for the "drive offs". I asked to speak with the manager that quoted the original deal but he was not in. His boss refused to talk with me. I then attempted to show the sales rep his error and he told me "get out, I don't want to sell you this car! To be honest, my son,who is in the auto leasing business on the west coast, had words with the rep. When we got up to leave, the manager asked what was going on and as I tried to explain, he told me t leave in the most profane manner.Poor service at Lincoln Mercury Malouf.
by xlegend1 on 10/03/2007I had a problem with my 1990 Lincoln Town Car that I bought from Malouf brand new. The engine would surge and stall out whenever I came to a traffic light. I had to keep my left foot on the brake while I put my right foot on the… accelerator to keep the engine from stalling. I took my town car to the above dealer and their service manager Tony suggested they run a diagnostic. It cost $100 and Tony claimed the diagnostic showed NO PROBLEM. He suggested I get a complete tune up. I explained that 20,000 miles ago I had a tuneup with platinum plugs that should last 100,000 miles. He said he would run another diagnostic but I may have to pay another $100. I will never, never purchase another vehicle from Malouf Lincoln Mercury again. I felt I was dealing with con men. I now will only buy japanese vheicles where their service departments aren't so sleazy. I currently have purchased at least 4-5 cars from Acme Nissan in South Brunswick, NJ. I was ignored, then when I walked up to two salespeople idly chatting away at the information desk, one said "I'll try to help you but I'm busy." He didn't know if there were any… hybrid models in the lot. After another minute, he passed me on to a saleswoman and went back to his chat. She first spent 4 minutes poking at her IPAD, and then tried to sell me a car by claiming that it was a perpetual motion machine: as long as you never went above 45 mph it would never run out of energy. After she walked away, we found about a dozen hybrid cars on the lot.excellent service

by 2011mustang on 05/31/2012updated 04/26/2025I own a 2011 Mustang. It makes noise!! They told me they dont want to fix it!! I put parts on it. Both Jerry the manager and the factory said it doesnt void warranty. He said hes mad because we didn't buy the car from them!! They don't fix… cars!!!
