  • Unreliable - no customer satisfaction

Sale of a pre-owned, certified 2005 Acura TSX, manual transmission Vehicle was supposed to be delivered after full certification (which includes promised detailing, rust removal, full tank of gas) at 11am next day. At 1pm the car was: With rust, dirty inside, no gas in the tank, clutch pedal makes squeaking noise at the lower position, front wheels are not balanced (steering wheel vibrates, car shakes when brakes are pressed) Next day discovered that the missing etching on the door window and the repainted side/door shows previous accident which was initially declined by sales person, Further investigation shows: "minor service" but "no body work" After three weeks, various phone calls, emails to sales man (working on it, then vacation), sales manager and general manager provide no feedback at all - issues remain Bad communication which feels like: Service ends after the actual sale
    • car resided from 08/30/2007 until 09/10/2007 at dealership. Received call to pick it up. Returned loaner car on 09/11/2007 to pick up my TSX. My car had been undergoing: lubrication of clutch spring, recharge of AC, replacement of two rims at rear axle, resurfacing of front rotors, balancing of all tires but the car was still dirty at the headliners with black finger prints (why was this all needed when the vehicle was already "certified" ?) Refused to take it back, received the loaner car again. Same day 09/11 call back from dealer that it is now properly detailed. Returned to the dealer this morning, same problem. Fingerprints are removed but dirty head liner in the back, glove compartment still dirty, dead bee remains under rear window, rims are not clean at all and (replaced) rear rims look worse than the original ones (although these are supposed to be dent-less which caused vibration), also missing valve cap on rear tire. Dealer re-details the car a third time now in a time frame of two weeks. During this process I have dealt with many people at the dealership and the major problem is that they do not communicate the details from one staff to the other. Even handed them a printout of issues when I dropped the car first.

    • Dropped vehicle off for service on Thursday 9am for all pending issues plus the new defect of the A/C. Received loaner car: 2006 Acura TL with many damages and very dirty interior, wrongfully assembled driver door panel. Service staff had problems explaining how I would show proof of insurance with loaner if stopped by the police. Also: Initial problem in identifying the loaner vehicle which was reserved (by number?, by model & color? or by license plate) Front page states loaner car is due back the same business day but contract states Sat. 08:00 am. Thu and Friday have passed and no call from dealership received yet. Waiting for next surprise(s).

    • Went to the dealer ship and spoke with 1) sales manager 2) service manager 3) general manager for a verbal complaint about the sale and the lack of service experienced with this dealership. General mgr, stated he never received my email (statement: "...dealer.com hosts their web page and email.."). They seem to have technical difficulties. Wondering if their voice mail also suffers problems since the sales mgr for pre-owned vehicles never replied to my two voice mails. The issues are supposed to be resolved this Thursday.

    • Final pick up was 09/13/2007 under protest The car was in the exact same conditions as it was the day before - rear rims dirty - valve cap missing - sand under the trunk mat - vibrations of the steering wheel between 58..68 mph - white paint spots on front wing and passenger door - rust spots at trunk I dropped off a written complaint on 09/21/2007 at the front desk for the general manager.

I just leased my second vehicle from Curry Acura. What prompted me to go back there was a call from my salesman to wish me a happy birthday for the second year in a row. My lease still had a year left on it but I wanted a larger SUV. DAN DAMON took my phone call at 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon and had me upgraded in a new MDX by 6pm. Not only did he terminate my lease a year early, he worked the numbers where I hardly see a difference in payment. Patrick the Manager was more than helpful in helping Dan get the deal done making me a repeat customer!
  • Good experience, overall

I purchased a 2014 Acura RDX during Thanksgiving week. My overall experience was good, but I attribute a lot of that to the fact that I researched the vehicle and pricing ahead of time. I had a couple of negative experiences in the process relating to negotiating my trade-in and knowledge of the features for the vehicle I wanted. After the negotiation process, the salesperson mentioned an "internet fee" because I had gotten a quote online. This was an obvious attempt to try to get more money from me after I successfully negotiated a price increase for my trade-in. I was very dissapointed to hear that, but I did not say anything to the salesperson then. Luckily, that "internet fee" was not added to the sales price. The other complain I have is that the salesperson was not sure about the features available in vehicles with the technology package in comparison with vehicles that don't. I'm not sure if this is something to try to confuse you, but like I said, I had thoroughly reasearched the vehicle before and I knew what I was looking for. So, watch out if they let you test drive a vehicle fully loaded while your looking for something with less features.

We went back a few times to look at different model Acuras. Salesman, Furman B., was never pushy and gave us test rides in each and called us back after the sale was made to make sure all was ok. Great doing business with him.

I recently bought a car from Curry Acura from Zeshan Chaudhry and was very happy with the experiece. He made the process really easy and was always available to assist me while I was purchasing my car. His youth and ethusiasm are great for the dealership, they are lucky to have him. I am satisfied with my purchase and I recommend Z.

am an Acura customer since 2003, and I have seen my share of seedy dealerships, but I have never been treated as well as I was on my visit to Curry Acura, and this was all because of our salesman Charles Hakim. Not only did Charles know everything about his product, but he delivered that information in a timely and humorous manner, while always maintaining the highest professional standards. I would definitely recommend Charles and Curry to all my friends and family

Nice folks to work with! I drove a long way Sunday morning for a specific car I saw on the internet. I was able to check out the car on the lot, test drive it, got financing, called my insurance, got plates and drove home same day. They were real busy for a Sunday. If you are browsing, get there now and start the new years right. Definitely recommend.

Service was good. Negotiation horrible. I brought the quote for MDX base they emailed me one day earlier and showed the salesman right after i met him. After test drive, I would like to purchase the MDX Tech. He quoted me 6k higher than the base model quote I got with me. what a waste of time.

I had a great experience at Curry Acura in Scarsdale. My salesman Dan was very helpful and explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. The entire staff was courteous and I will definitely be back!

Awesome Sales and Best Service ever. I just purchased a 2008 Acura MDX. Yuri was excellent, he was very thorough and very reasonable. Jay was also great, going through the entire vehicle with me so I knew how work everything. I did have a mishap with the rear seat cup holder. The Service Manager William and Julio were very helpful and quick with servicing my vehicle, and this was used vehicle but I was treated like I bought a new one. You don't get that kind of service anywhere. All my future purchases will be with Curry Acura.

Went for regular service and a slow leak in tire. Was told I needed a new tire. $300. When I got home the new tire went flat. I went back and was told I needed a new valve. I believe I never needed a new tire. Curry Acura's General Manager, Mike M. got involved with this issue and decided to reimburse me for the tire. This is a man who knows how to run a dealership and understands the value of customer service.

As a woman, I have always found car shopping to be an intimidating formidable experience. So it was with dread that I faced looking for a replacement for my expiring Honda lease. Then I walked into Scarsdale, Curry Acura. The first person I met was Jim R., who I later found out was the manager of the dealership. He was lovely, no pressure. Hooked me up with Paul P. Paul was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and very down to earth. I felt like I was talking to a friend, not a salesperson. He was pateint with my questions and helped me understand every aspect of my lease. When it came time to do the financial piece he hooked me up with Yuri. Yuri, never once made me feel like an idiot. LOL. He also was patient and knowledgeable and helped me thru that process as well. It was truely the best experience ever. I will be a Scrasdale Curry Acura customer for a long time to come!!! Thank you!!!!
