    I was pleased with my trip to Lia for service. Upon my arrival I was able to state what service I needed and appreciated learning what was also recommended. I left my car and two hours later was able to pick it up, pay my bill and be on my way. Great service!

    The service writer Mr Elmendorf was very friendly and helpful. They took care of my issue under warranty and I was very satisfied. I do However feel like the maintenance service that is recommended is priced rather high, I understand the high overhead but I also feel like there could be a better value in the recommended work. $1400 dollars of recommended maintenance on a 2.5 year old truck just seems a bit high, especially in light of what is going on in the world. In closing, I want to reiterate that I was very happy with the staff and facilities, just the pricing that makes me a bit sore. Thank you for listening. Mike

    Lia Jeep was amazingggggggg.... legit the easiest car buying experience EVER. I got into a better model with more options for the same ammout I wanted to pay for a lesser model WITH LESS DOWN!!! There was no pressure, came with awesome numbers out of the gate (150 less than armory for a BETTER car), respectful, and QUICK! They were also able to save me $50 a month on my car insurance and ADDED coverage! Moral of the story.... if you need a car.... go see Scott at Lia Chrystler Jeep Dodge Ram on Central ❤🚘

    my husband was looking for a specific truck and I was able to find it at Lia. Vinny Notaro had gotten him financed when our local bank would not because of the virus. We drove 1.5 hours but my husband got the truck he wanted.

    This was my second time leasing a Grand Jeep Cherokee assisted by Gerald Benson. I called him , told him what I was looking for and within a short time he attained the model and color requested. When I went to purchase the auto, he had the paperwork, etc. ready. I was certainly pleased I didn't have to spend my whole day waiting. Mr. Benson was very professional and helpful to me. I appreciated all his assistance.

    Great service experience at Lia Jeep. I had my wrangler in for an oil change and tire rotation. Jared Pott was my service advisor. He took the jeep in right away, gave me a price and then followed up when the car was being done. He was very responsive and the whole appointment took 45min. Very good experience and plan to continue to go back and schedule my apointments with Jared.

    Seeing as this was my first time buying a vehicle on my own, I was very happy with how smooth and quick the process was. My salesperson was John Taylor. He was great to work with and very nice. I never felt obligated or pushed to buy at any point during the process. I will definitely be back for my next purchase.

    It was a fluke that I ended up at Lia’s dealership. After visiting with three different Jeep dealers and telling all of them I wanted to buy a car that day, I decided to go to Albany and looked up a dealer that was open on a Sunday. Lia was the only option near my upstate house. I started with a live chat (not necessarily that helpful) and decided to go in person. The woman who was on text wasn’t a salesperson but she handed me over to a relatively new employee,,Grayson. After buying three cars from Lexus, one from BMW and another from Mercedes over the past twenty years, Greyson was the only salesperson that I will remember. He was straightforward, not “pitchy”, and understood that I really wanted something I hadn’t originally been looking for. Within two hours, I had upgraded to a car I love and the process was smooth and painless. I would highly recommend him and the management of this dealership who so swiftly accomplished my needs. Thank you to Grayson and the Lia team.

    I had a wonderful experience purchasing my vehicle from Scott at Lia. I never felt pressured, he was very patient with my questions. He followed up every time he said he would. He even gave me his personal cell phone number. Buying a car is rarely an enjoyable experience. Scott made it great! I never bought a car from Lia but I did buy two Jeeps from Armory garage. Ironically Lia treated me like gold, and Armory treated me like crap. In fact I have to say honestly that Armory drove me away and into the arms of Lia and I couldn’t be more grateful. If Scott and the Lia team keep up this great customer experience, they will put Armory garage out of business and do the capital region fantastic service. If I had anything negative to say it would be about the finance/appraiser dude who had the bedside manner of a troll, but perhaps he was just having a bad day...

  • Headache of a place, poor customer service skills!

    I called this place because I had a recall on my vehicle, as well as some concerns with a sound the car was making while it was cold out. When I called, I explained what was going on with my car and the person that answered my call told me that I should get a “cold diagnostic” and explained that I should drop my car off the night before because it would have to sit in order for them to do it. He also explained that there was a charge of $67-69; somewhere around there for the diagnostic. I was perfectly fine with that; money isn’t the issue anyways but appreciated him explaining so I was not surprised later on. I drop my car off last night, when I got there the guy that helped me explained that it was a $145 charge for the diagnostic. Whatever.. I was a little confused why I was told something different over the phone but still was fine with me. Just wanted my car fixed. The guy explained that someone would call me in the morning to go over what repairs my car might need once the diagnostic was completed. Next day (today): it was about 1pm and I hadn’t heard anything about my car. So I call them, John tells me that he’s waiting for a transmission tech to be free so he can have them take my car for a ride to try and find that noise it’s making and then he would give me a call back. I felt like this was odd because when I originally called for the appointment I told the guy that it only seems to make this noise when it’s cold out and that’s why he recommended leaving it overnight in the first place. At 1pm, it’s not cold outside. And sure enough at about 4pm John calls me back and says that the tech couldn’t find the noise it was making so he’s not recommending any repairs. They were currently working on the recall and that my car would be done in about an hour and a half. I asked him if my car was going to be done today because I have to work in the morning and he said yes. So I make sure I give them enough time and show up at about 6:30; that’s 2 1/2 hours from when he called thinking it’s definitely done. When I get there I told a sales person I was just picking up my car. He asked for my last name and went to look for my paperwork. He comes back and asks what it was again and goes to look again. He comes back out and says I can’t find anything here with this name. So another lady at a desk tries typing my information in the system to look it up and she can’t find it in the system. So at this point I’m kind of pissed, because I feel they didn’t do what they said they were going to; when they were supposed to and now my $20000 car is just “missing”. The sales guy comes back, same answer; can’t find it. And says “I don’t know what to tell you” like as if he didn’t even care that they misplaced my car. So he goes and talks to his manager-Chris. At this point I’m outside looking for my car because now I have absolutely zero trust for this place. The sales guy comes back and says “we found your car, it’s still in the shop. It’s not done so you’ll have to come back tomorrow” I was confused because it was supposed to be done by now. I told him I needed to get to work tomorrow, and he told me “I don’t know what to tell you, come back tomorrow when service is open” now I’m frustrated with this guy not caring, so my girlfriend goes in and asks to speak to his manager and the sales guy says “yeah, but I don’t know what he’s gonna do for you..” then the manager-Chris walks over and my girlfriend asks what is going on with my car and he basically treats us the same way this sales guy did; like he didn’t care and we were a bother. Tomorrow I am going to pick up my car... and I’m never EVER coming back here again. And I recommend that anyone who is looking for a trustworthy place to bring your vehicle to have work done in a timely fashion; steers clear of this place too! The don’t have their prices together, there’s poor communication and they don’t care about their customers. For someone who is quite picky about their cars, takes care of them and is willing to invest money into their cars, they lost my business.
