Excellnt Repair Service
by Sigirl529 on 04/15/2014updated 04/26/2025I lease a 2012 Ford Edge. I had a problem with my SYNC system and brought it to the dealership to be looked at. I was immediately helped by a lovely, knowledgeable and most importantly, friendly girl, Jessica. She said the diagnostic would… take about an hour. When it went over the alotted time and knowing I was late for work, she immediately offered to put me in to a rental car at the dealership's expense. I declined asI had a friend pick me up and bring me back. It was determined that I was going to need a new module, which would take a few days. I brought my car back first thing this morning, 4 days later (including the weekend) and was once again greeted by Jessica who assured me that she would get me in and out of there in no time or about an hour. Much to my surprise, the entire process took less than an hour and Jess personally walked me outside to my vehicle in the rain. Let's face it, no one ever wants to have their car in for service, but when you are lucky enough to deal with a smart, knowledgeable and upbeat representative like Jessica, it certainly makes the process a lot less annoying.Stole security deposit!!!
by poppy17 on 01/06/2013updated 04/26/2025We put a deposit down on a car under the pretense that we would be approved for a specified deposit and monthly payment. When the time came to finalize the deal, the dynamics of the deal changed and we had to come up with $5000.00 above… what we expected to pay. Needless to say we decided not to do the deal, as a result, they refused to refund our $500.00 deposit. I understand this tactic is to force buyers into a deal, and if they have a deposit, they can change whats to be paid apparently, or else lose your deposit. So were out 500.00 and be warned Dana customers... DO NOT give a deposit and DO NOT believe it will be refunded even if they tell you it will. The finance manager Mitch explained that they were keeping it because "He had to do alot of work to get the deal done"?!?! Im surprised a company like Ford operates like this.
