Friendly, Professional, and totally Efficient
by myungspark on 03/08/2016I went to Paragon Honda on Saturday, March 5th, and worked with Olivia. I personally do not enjoy haggling, so I asked her to give me a fair price without going through the haggling process that usually wastes time and energy for both… sides. She listened to my request, and by the afternoon I was able to drive off with my brand new Accord. Once the deal was made, I was amazed how efficient she was in taking care of the paperwork. I practically did not have to do anything myself. Afterward,I also enjoyed the meeting with Syed, the finance manager. This meeting usually is unpleasant and upsetting because the so called finance managers almost always try to set you up with high interest rates for your car loan and try every which way to sell you some products or services that you don't really need. Syed got me a great interest rate and at the same time acted very respectably in presenting the services and products that he wanted to sell. I am happy to say that I actually ended up buying some of the service packages. :)We love hearing about guests who have a wonderful experience at our dealership and we're happy to know that you're one of them! Excellent sales experience
by NYC_Buyer on 02/24/2016I have never reviewed a business online before, but the people at Paragon so exceeded my expectations of what the used car buying experience would be that I had to give them a strong review. Purchasing a used Honda Accord at Paragon Honda… couldn’t have been better. I did my research (Consumer Reports, etc.) and determined that I wanted a 2013 Accord. Paragon had more inventory than the other NYC dealers and seemed to have more (credible) positive reviews. I selected a few models to check out, looked at the CarFax reports from the dealer website and checked the Kelly Blue Book values. All the models were at the lower end of their Blue Book range. Steven Gardner showed me a couple of the cars that fit my criteria and we went for a test ride in one. There was one car with extremely low mileage that caught my eye, but I wasn’t buying that day. Steven was helpful, knowledgeable and low key. There wasn’t any of that “What will it take to get you into this car today?” shtick. The price on the website was the sales price (the sticker on the door showed a higher cost). It was a couple weeks before I could get back to the dealer, but I kept an eye on that car through the website. The price fluctuated, but by the time I returned the car was still on the lot and the price was at its lowest point. Steven wasn’t on the lot, but he arranged for his colleague, Peter Lam, to take work with me. I looked closely at a couple models, but only went for an extended test drive in the low-mileage car. Peter was cut from the same cloth as Steven - also low-key - and very helpful in wrapping up the deal. When my intended insurer said it would take two weeks to process the paperwork, Peter knew the local office of one of the national companies and they were able to set me up over the phone. David Hazim breezed through the closing (there is a mandatory pitch for the extended warranty, but it’s over quickly and not high pressure). Shun Rodriguez really knew the details of the technology in the car and was able to quickly show me how to set up the Bluetooth connections, etc. She has followed up with me a couple of times since then to make sure that everything is working well.It was truly a pleasure to read about your vehicle-buying experience working with Steven, Peter, David and Shun. Our top priority is delivering as convenient and comfortable of a vehicle-buying experience as possible, and it's delightful to know that we were able to provide you with such a memorable and pleasant experience. Don't go if you want a particular car you saw online
by Dekson1 on 02/19/2016We called in the afternoon about a specific pre-owned car. The woman, Stephanie, looked up the number to make sure it was there. She also said if we came that day we would get another $150 off. When we got there we were sent to another… guy who runs the used lot. He said sorry we sold the car that morning. We told him that we had checked that afternoon. He said something about the Internet and that it takes some time to post- a lot of lies. So we just left as he was trying to have us look at other cares. Not the way to run a successful business!!am very sorry to hear of your recent experience. These guys lack conscience
by Saurav_H on 02/11/2016I was looking for an Honda Accord and when I went to dealership (all the way from NJ) they said it has a lien and will be lifted in 10 days. I waited. In 5 days I got a call from “Jennifer” saying the lien is all clean so I again went there… and this time 'Sayyed' told me that the Lien is still there. After 5 more days I was again called by “Mike” that the lien was lifted so I went the next day (all the way from NJ) and this time at the dealership “Sultan” told me that the lien was not lifted by the credit union. Why do you call me without checking the facts? After 4 days I get a call from Jennifer saying the lien was clean. Just one day ago I lost my first cousin and I told Jennifer that I will come after 7 days and if they can hold it. But after 7 days when I called they have sold the vehicle. I wouldn’t have been mad if they wouldn’t have called me 3 times only to tell me that the lien is not clear. I waited for 15 days for them and they couldn’t wait for 7 days (and that too for an honest reason). These guys seriously lack conscience and are extremely unprofessional. They all should feel so low but they wont because they dont have soulsYour feedback is greatly appreciated, Saurav.
