Pleasant Experience
by WJgirl on 07/25/2014I was pleasantly surprised with this experience. As a female I have had some "not so pleasant" experiences with car salesman. My salesman, Dan S, was friendly, easy to work with and definitely wanted me to be satisfied with my… purchase. Daniel D with Finance was also pleasant and thorough with explaining all the forms I needed to sign. I highly recommend Modern Toyota and especially Dan S.Made my dreams come true.

I was very anxious to get rid of my Jeep, but Dan was able to give me an extremely fair price for my car, as well as help put me into the car I have been… dreaming of. Pleasant first time Toyota experience
by stelloriginals on 06/16/2014We had spoken with an individual on the phone regarding a used 2014 Prius seen on line. This lady happened to be the previous owner of the vehicle we were interested in. When we arrived at Modern Toyota we were greeted by Greg S and asked… for the lady associated with the car. He stated that she was not on site at that time and he would be helping us. We had our dog Lilly with us and she was welcomed and received attention from everyone, including her own water bowl. All staff that we encountered were dog friendly and very cordial. We individually test drove the car while the other watched our dog. Since this was our first experience driving a hybrid vehicle, Greg was very helpful in explaining operational procedures. Test driving ruled out any concerns we had regarding size, comfort, features, and handling. Greg worked very hard to get us the best deal he could and we were able to reach an agreeable trade on our existing vehicle. We were quite impressed with Greg's professionalism and cordial demeanor. I will highly recommend Modern Toyota and Greg S to others seeking to make a vehicle purchase.Thank you for your great review. Our salesman, Carl Saconn, made the auto buying experience much easier than any we have previously experienced. From my first contact, to driving away from the… dealership with our Camry, Carl was customer conscience. He cared for his customer first. He answered every question. When he didn't know an answer, he didn't make something up. He went and got the information we needed.. Each person that we came into contact with at the dealership was courteous and very professional. I recommend Modern Toyota of Winston Salem a great place to buy a Toyota or Scion. Toyota and Modern were offering discounts on the car and were not pushing with high pressure tactics. by pashi on 07/04/2013updated 04/25/2025I saw an ad for a 2011 Explorer Limited, called the dealership and immediately got a good feeling about Modern. Very friendly and forthcoming with information, so I decided to drive the 100 miles the next day. Had a 2005 Acura TL I was… thinking about trading and within 60 minutes, was on my way back home with the Explorer, as Modern made me a fair trade offer and the Explorer was well priced. Terri R was the sales person and Steve B the used car manager, and both were a delight to work with. But, the story doesn't stop there. On the way home, I noticed the auto park feature wasn't working properly. I was traveling the next day and dropped it off at my local Ford dealer, where they discovered the front bumper had been replaced and the wiring was done improperly. I called Modern and they weren't aware of the bumper replacement, as the previous owner didn't disclose it. They offered to pick it up, leave me with a loaner, and have it repaired. The local dealership did the repair instead and Modern reimbursed me within a couple days. Best dealership experience I've ever had and wouldn't hesitate to work with the Modern family of dealerships in the future. First class people, first class customer service!Great experience

I had such a great experience the first time, that I would never consider buying a vehicle from anyone else. Dan called me several times since my first… purchase to make sure I was pleased with my purchase and my service at Modern Toyota. It was those follow-up calls that led me to my decision to buy another purchase. Because Dan has a sales history with me, we were able to get the ball rolling on my new purchase over the phone. By the time I got to the dealership, the deal was basically done and we just signed papers...and the bucket! Dan has all of his customers sign a bucket. Just a very personable guy and so much fun to buy a car from. I would also like to add that Daniel the Finance Manager is awesome as well. I highly highly recommend Dan!!!New Toyota Sienna
