6 months ago, I bought a 2020 GMC Sierra AT4, 85K miles, no warranty. Background, I live 115 miles from this dealership but they had the truck I wanted so I made the drive. There was never any doubt in my mind that I would not go back… there for service just due to the distance. On my way home from picking up the truck, the TPMS system said there was an error and was only showing pressure for three tires (no LF). I chocked it up to a bad sensor and as I have replaced these in previous vehicles and know they are not that expensive, I pressed on home as it was too late and I was half way home . This was an intermittent problem until I did my first oil change / tire rotation. I mentioned this problem to the Chevy dealer and asked them to change the sensor. They checked the sensor and it was reading a strong battery signal so I told them to just rotate the tires and I would see what happens. Soon after, this intermittent problem became and consistent issue. The problem was it was showing the same LF tire even though the tires had been rotated and reprogrammed which meant the issue was something else. That Chevy dealer wanted a ridiculous amount of money just to diagnose the problem ($200).
That's the history now why I'm recommending Coughlin, a couple weeks ago someone from Coughlin just made a 6 month check up call. I told her I loved the truck and had no issues other than this TPMS problem. I had no expectation of the dealership doing any thing about this, (six months and 7k miles later) she told me she would contact the Service Manager, John Tackett, and have him call me. The next day he did and he told me they would at least diagnose the problem, no charge and see what they could do. Thinking this was looking like it was going to turn into an expensive fix I took him up on the offer. Today I took the truck in and dealt with Paul Lynch, the Service Advisor. Long story short, not only did they diagnose, but they spent a total of 3-4 hours taking care of it at no charge to me. I find it so refreshing this day in age to have a company stand behind what they sold me, I'm just at a loss for words of thanks. Next time I need to buy a vehicle, I will be checking this dealership first, even with it being 115 mile drive. Kudos to John & Paul, thank you both very much!!! Also a shout out to my salesman, Forest, as I had a good experience when I made the purchase. Obviously, I recommend doing business here!!!

Awesome Service at Coughlin's

A short time later - we had issues again. The same shop told me it was going to cost and additional $2000. We took… the car to Coughlin's. Bill Smith took personal interest in making sure my teenage daughter had a safe car to drive. The same part we already paid to fix was the problem again. Bill helped me provide documentation to obtain a refund from the previous shop. He also contacted me several times during the repair to keep me well informed of their progress. Outstanding Service is hard to come by these days, and it's greatly appreciated!Best vehicle purchase, ever!

This was my first ever internet shopping and buying experience, so I was a little apprehensive, to say the least. After finding the vehicle I was shopping for… on their website, I responded with an e-mail as to my intent. I was shortly contacted by Jon Nida from the dealership. After discussing the vehicle with Jon, in which time he answered all of my questions fully, and also working on a fair trade in value for my vehicle we came to a "deal". Jon went over all finance options as well as all other "paperwork" involved and we set a day and time for me to pick up the vehicle. Now, I live apprx. 3 hrs from the dealership and I was still a little leary of buying a vehicle without physically looking it over, however, after talking with Jon I felt comfortable that things were going to be alright. On the day of the deal, which was actually Jons' day off, I arrived at the dealership and the vehicle was sitting out front waiting for my inspection! I walked into the dealership and met with Jon and we took a test drive and I went over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb. The vehicle was exactly as it was represented and all paperwork was ready with no hidden costs or extra sales pitches. All apprehension and fears were all for not. I was completely satisfied and happy with all aspects of this vehicle purchase. With all the credit going to Jon Nida, with his honesty and integrity, it made for a truly great experience. And to Coughlin Automotive for having such a great salesman as well as the entire staff that I came into contact with, "Thank You"!Barbie rocks!!
