    I took my truck to Bob Howard GMC to get new tires and asked that my front end be checked for excessive play. Dave Hoffman quoted my tires and both the idler and pitman arms. Mario Izaguirre made the repairs and changed the oil and… filters. Both of these guys are professionals and got the work done right, on time and within the quoted cost. I highly recommend this team!!!

  • Service/Maintenance on vehicle

    Went in for noise car was making, oil change and coolant change. Just bought new tires and had them mounted and balanced at Costco. Service center tried to convince me that my pistons were bad and I needed $4,100+ for this service. I had a… mechanic tell me what I needed prior to going to dealer service center. It was $800 service not $4,100+ service. Dealership service center also said I needed fuel flush, new wipers, and several other services (4 exactly) that I did not need. Kept vehicle from 7am through next day before looking at car... I get that they are short staffed, but then they complained about paying for my Uber to work and home on 1st day and then to work next day. They actually stated they would not pay for another Uber and still kept my car. I felt a little like a hostage. I have used this dealership for all maintenance since purchasing vehicle. Very very disappointed in them. Dealership was nice but service center I have issue with.

    We bought a used pickup. Our salesman, Mark Samson was great! He helped us negotiate several repairs we wanted performed to seal the deal. Their dealer prep was too high. Lifetime nitrogen and window tint were a dealer add-on that was too… expensive.

    The worst communication I have experienced since being in Edmond. This has been the third time my car sat in their service shop for almost a week. 4.5 days after at it was dropped off for a new battery and oil change, I was told they were… waiting for a technician to be assigned. This is after I made an appointment and was told it would be ready in a few hours. When I finally did get to pick my car up, my bill was 327 dollars more than what I was told. Never again!

    We had such a great experience at Bob Howard. Erik took really good care of us. Our experience with every person we dealt with that day couldn’t have been any better. I went in to “look” and left with a new vehicle. They worked hard to get… the payment where I needed it and make sure I was comfortable with my purchase. After the deal was done, Erik made sure everything was set up inside the Blazer so that I had ease of use on my way home. I will highly recommend this dealership and especially Erik to my friends.

    I scheduled a tire rotation and oil change online at Bob Howard. The man said he didn’t know if they would honor it because tire rotation isn’t normal included (even though It was on their website and I showed him) I didn’t check my receipt… until I got home and noticed it said the tires weren’t rotated because the tread was good. Of course it’s good because I get them rotated each oil service! He didn’t even bother to tell me it wasn’t complete. I will be looking elsewhere for a dealership who will complete the work I request.

    No communication with owner had my truck for 5 days to change oil and diagnostic for engine light never returned calls to check on status. Never touched the truck. DAVID AND PEGGY do not return calls 9

  • ONE STAR BECAUSE ZERO STARS WASN’T AN OPTION

    I’m not sure where to start. I purchased my new 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 from here with the agreement that the windows and windshield would be tinted. When I got my vehicle, the heads up display (HUD) started to glitch. I sent it in for… service, after arguing with the advisor that I needed a vehicle provided to me while they had my own. Of course they wanted me to rent, not loan. Eventually, a loaner was provided. They had my truck 4 days, and when I got it back, the HUD worked temporarily, however, my charger for my cell phone magically stopped working. Also, my tint on my windshield was scratched. My husband took it in for service, and to get a tire repaired because it had a slow leak. They plugged the cell phone charger back in and “fixed the tire.” He brings it home, and now, my key fob doesn’t work, only his does. Anddddd 3 days later I’m needing to put air in that “slow leak” tire again. (And every 3 days since then) Which brings me to today. I made an appointment. I took off work (so that I didn’t have the loaner issue) and was told the repair to fix the tire and reprogram the key would take about an hour. I was in the service department for 4 hours. 4 hours. I was told my tire couldn’t be repaired because of a nail too close to the side wall and that I would need to purchase a new tire, and oh, they don’t have it in stock. I would need to come back tomorrow. I was also told that they couldn’t get my keys to reprogram and someone had to run to the warehouse to get a new fob for programming. When it was all said and done, the tire was magically patched and the key fobs I got back, were in fact my original key fobs. Oh, and they told me my truck was ready, and I still waited 20 more minutes for them to pull up. Every issue I have had with this service department has just led me to further issue after issue after issue. I have told every service advisor I have had there that I would love to speak with their Service Manager, which has never happened (Hi Stephen, would love to hear from you!) I will denote their Service Advisor did inform me they were low staffed. I stated I made an appointment and she said yeah but we’re still over booked and have more work than service techs. I questioned why they allowed appointments to continue to be booked without the people to perform and she stated they had no control over their website. I paid alottttt of money for this truck. I would expect to have better service, better experiences, and my gah, this company is making enough money, they need to figure out the logistics of their websites and their service department. Were I the service manager, I would suggest your advisors spend time rescheduling those you can’t fit in realistically. As far as the work performed on my vehicle, I wont be back. My HUD still doesn’t work, but I’m going to seek warranty service from another dealership.

    • I wanted to provide an update. After my initial review, the General Manager of Bob Howard reached out to me the next business day. Bobby Lubbers was genuinely interested in hearing out the entire story of my service disaster. Bobby was quick to offer a solution and provided top notch quality and customer service. If only the rest of his team could lead by his example and provide the same consistently. I can now say I have a working HUD and every open service issue I had previously is now closed. I was able to shake Bobby’s hand this afternoon and tell him thank you personally for his efforts to fix my issue with a quick solution and top notch service. If I have further issue I will be sure to contact the proper personnel, however it will be hard to top the service received once Bobby was involved. Thanks again, Bobby!

  • Not a happy customer

    Most inefficient service center I have been to. Had an appointment at 10. No reason it should take over 3 hrs to get an oil change. The service lady mentioned it could take 2 hrs but my truck was on the lift for 2 hrs and it took them close… to an hour to get it on the lift. After they were done I had to go back and get my lug socket. Not that it’s a requirement but they also didn’t wash my truck like other dealerships do on the same street. I will not be returning to this dealership in the future.

  • Poorly managed

    The front line workers are constantly having to apologize for the complete failures in their department’s processes. Employees often don’t follow up when they say they will. Management NEVER follows up when an issue is elevated. Many of… their processes appear to be broken based on the overwhelming number of misunderstandings. If you encounter a complex problem with your vehicle you will likely have to have the same conversation with three or four people explaining the history and everything that has been done in order to achieve any forward progress. They do not efficiently share or pass information between the different levels of service providers. This dealership’s service department does not respect their clients time and often sets up situations that they can not follow through on or they accept appointments when they are clearly double booked and stand no chance of accommodating customers during the coordinated window. This place is mismanaged, and customer service is very low on the priority list based on my observations and past service interactions. If whomever runs this department was one of my managers, they would have been fired a long time ago. Once you get through all the inefficiencies and broken processes and you actually get your vehicle in, their service technicians are actually quite capable and have so far done a good job. But if you value your time At all, this is not a dealership for you. They certainly do not concern themselves with how much of your time is wasted with a complete lack of even the most basic processes.

    Sales man seemed on edge, not exactly what I would call polite or gentlemanly. I did get the car I wanted. I had previously bought the same type of Mini Cooper from another dealership Bob Howard Subaru dealership who were very welcoming… to the customers and treated them like guests complimentary beverages / sandwiches snacks. My mother felt slighted with the salesman. I bargained with the salesman and ended up with a decent deal. The gentleman Charles who handled the paperwork was very friendly. My experience wasn’t bad just lacking in the overall treatment customer service and treatment of guests.
