Advertised price was not honored
by Bellavita on 03/24/2021I DO NOT recommend this dealer to anyone based on my experience. First of all, the price you see on their website is NOT what you will be expected to pay. For out of state customers they add a $1000 mark up because they cannot charge you… for lifetime oil changes, protection packages etc that they state are mandatory charges for their in-state customers to the tune of $3500. The legality of this is suspect as they cannot seem to clearly explain why these charges are added to the advertised price. The salesman I dealt with (Mason Spain) was very curt and dismissive from the very first contact. I tried to communicate with literally anyone else at the dealership and could not get a call back. He lied about warranties and made it clear they are NOT in the business of selling cars. I had to verify warranties myself by calling Roush customer service. He also never told me that I would be responsible for tax and title in my own state, that is a big deal. No questions I asked were answered just a circular round about. My trade offer was a range and Mason made sure to give me the lowest possible trade value while marking up the price on the new car. The deal got worse every time we spoke. He was brash and condescending. He said the price of the car is dependent on my credit, not true AND discriminatory, he also said that he wouldn't provide a written offer or negotiated price for the car without running my credit, and basically talked me out of the vehicle at every turn. He got very loud and belligerent despite my requests for him to calmly explain the price changes to me. I mentioned this interaction to the sales manager David, and he brushed it off saying buy the car or don't. I am not sure who likes to feel abused after speaking to someone about buying a car, but this was NOT how car sales or sales of any kind should work. There is a reason a brand new car built in 2018 is still sitting on their lot. Buyers beware.
