    Took my 2012 civic NGV in for oil change, brake inspection and 65,000 mi service. Service rep, Berry G. was helpful. Turned out the brakes were fine. I appreciate the honest assessment. Got a prompt ride to work and back to the dealership. Overall very easy and customer friendly experience.

    Waited a long time but of course lots of customers, my main guy Patrick wasn’t there but it’s alright, apparently I got a oil change that I did not request for, but the sales rep was not rude at all and told me not to worry and he will handle it, well worth the wait I guess and got a free oil change, guys here at south pointe Honda are always awesome and understanding, I was a little upset and would’ve paid for the oil change because I didn’t want him to get in trouble, I’m sure someone got confused in the mechanics department and did the oil change because other Honda pilots where there too. But sales rep told me he will handle it and get me out of there as soon as he can. I will always come back here whenever I need something for my Honda.

    This was the most painless car purchase experience I have ever had. Eric was so easy to work with and was a great salesman. Most sales people have these aggressive, call, text, and email you all day every day tactics (which I find to be too aggressive), and Eric allowed me my space to make my decision.

  • 2019 Honda Accord Sport 2.0

    After extensive research into 2018-2019 Honda cars and deciding on the car I wanted, I was looking for a slightly used Accord Sport with manual transmission and 2.0 engine. South point had only one that was a new '19. I asked about my trade and the best price they could do on the Honda. The first quote combined with the relief from trying to sell my current car myself sold me. There was no pressure at all. The experience was actually enjoyable. I recommend South Pointe. BTW, this was my first new car purchase and I am 64.

    Very happy with the purchase of my demo vehicle with only 740 mi on the odo. The salesman, service mgr, & finance mgr were all very personable and helpful and even stayed an extra 1.5 hrs past closing time to make my purchase happen that night. I look fwd to keeping my vehicle for a very long time and I am happy that I qualified for the low 1.9% financing to make my purchase possible at this time. Thank you so much !!

  • Sold me a lemon and harrassed me

    I bought a used Honda Element from SPH in January. Will, the salesman was kind. Four days later the car wouldn’t start. I texted Will the first and second time. I called the dealership and John answered as Will was on leave. He said to bring the car to Tulsa and they would fix it and give me a loaner car. I did a lot of research on the problem in the meantime. Soon they called and said it was ready. They ran electrical tests and checks. I was very confused, because I spent a lot of time, money, and time off work for them to say they didn’t actually fix anything. John said he would talk to the mechanic. The next day Will returned and asked why I hadn’t picked it up. I explained I was waiting on John. Then Ryan called me. He is a manager, and maybe one of the worst people I have ever met. He began patronizing me, saying “in his heart of hearts” he knew it was fixed. Not interested in his feelings I asked what the mechanic thought, and shared the online information filled with possible fixes. He became defensive while I tried to reason with his intellect, but I couldn’t get past his pride. He then asked why I had kept his loaner car so long, and started to insinuate I was keeping it. He soon let on he had an interested buyer, which is why he needed it back. Then he said maybe I was one of those women “who go on Web MD and think they have something terrible when its something minor.” After being insulted, patronized, bullied and showered with sexism the likes of which I have never seen from educated men, he told me to bring back the rental THAT EVENING, giving me only a few hours to get off work and rush to Tulsa. When I arrived, no one would look me in the eye. Will was kind as usual. A few days later, the car wouldn’t start. The air bags turn themselves on and off while driving. The stereo switches from the left to the right of the vehicle going over bumps. Will said he would check with Ryan, and none of them have called me back. I called Chris Cox, the general manager last week and this week kindly asking for a return call, nothing more. Both calls have been ignored. They have a lovely façade, but they are worse than the overt snake-in-the-grass dealers, because at least they have the decency to look you in the eye while they screw you over. I told Ryan I would write him an honest review if his “heart of hearts” was wrong. So here it is. If you enjoy vehicles that start, or men who value and respect women, if you’re a man who respects women, I wouldn’t shop here.
