by Russ B on 09/19/2024After a dismal experience at Beaverton Kia, my experience at Weston was enjoyable from start to finish. I found the 2025 Sorento Hybrid that I wanted and at a great price. I worked with Cameron Scruggs who was very friendly, knowledgable,… and patient. He is true class all the way. I received an acceptable offer on my trade, and there was no upselling of any other product or service, though I did purchase an extended warranty along with protection packages but was not pressured to do so. The gentleman who handled the financial transaction (I’m ashamed to admit that I forgot his name) treated me like I was an old friend - conversational, light hearted, but also very informative. To summarize, I drove home with a smile on my face in a vehicle I love. Isn’t that the way it’s supposed to be? 👍😃👍Exceptional Experience!

From my first phone call with the dealership, Keith was incredibly personable, professional, and accommodating. He offered up all the details of the vehicle… including the potential 'cons'- things I maybe hadn't thought of when considering a new car. After our call, Keith sent me extra photos of the vehicle, a thoughtful gesture that was unexpected and much appreciated. The test drive scheduling was flexible, and Keith was accommodating despite my several reschedules. The purchasing process was impressively quick, taking less than an hour instead of what I anticipated would be half the day. Keith's commitment to service extended beyond the sale; he kindly offered to personally deliver the car, so I wouldn’t have to make a return trip. I wholeheartedly recommend Keith and Weston Kia to anyone looking for a new or (or used) vehicle. 10/10, would highly recommend!This place sucks- Dump them!
by Bex on 09/08/2024Weston KIA is beyond the worst car experience I have ever had in my life. I took my car here over a month ago because it was stolen and recovered, so the ignition and radio/back up camera needed to be replaced. During this month I heard… nothing back from them on an update on my car, despite leaving messages and emails. My insurance rental coverage then ended, because their policy was to cover a rental for 30 days, and having still heard nothing back from Weston KIA, I had to begin paying for a rental out of pocket. (Over $500 down the drain and out of my own wallet) After a month of no replies, I finally get one short email that they were still waiting on parts, with no list of the parts or any estimate of completion. (So it takes them over a month to get parts…ok, sus and very much want to see the receipts of these and when they were in fact ordered) After waiting one more week and again, paying for a rental out of pocket, I simply couldn’t afford to wait any longer- I finally got absolutely fed up at not receiving any ETAs for when my car would actually be complete so I had a friend drive me to talk to someone in person to get actual answers and check on the status of my vehicle. All of a sudden all the parts that they were waiting for for “so long” had miraculously arrived just a couple of days ago and my car would be done in two days. (Also very suspicious my car was still in the exact same parking spot it had been when I left it there over a month ago, almost as if it hadn’t been moved at all during all this time) It wasn’t. Instead, I was finally called back and told that my car would be done the next day at 4pm- they ensured me this would be true. AGAIN- IT WASN’T. As of right now my KIA has been at the Weston KIA dealership for a month and two weeks. The repairs were a new ignition and radio/backup cam- and it took them OVER A MONTH to get parts. Supposedly. I cannot even explain to you how shady this place is. Don’t go here, literally just save yourself the heartache of being completely lied to and ignored. Weston KIA is like if your most toxic relationship was a dealership. They promise, they’ll do better next time- I promise you, they won’t. Dump them and never come back.Reneged on Sales Agreement

We agreed with the dealership's representative , in written texts, upon an interest rate and sales price for a Hybrid Kia Sportage SX Prestige and put a deposit down on a vehicle that the… dealership represented was at the Port of Tacoma and would be delivered to us in a couple of days. That car went elsewhere. We then had our deposit applied to a car that the dealership represented would be delivered several weeks later soon after July 4th on the same terms of interest rate and sale price. The car didn't materialize. We waited until July 19 when the car finally arrived at the dealership. Once we were physically at the dealership, the dealership representative reneged on the agreed upon interest rate and upped the interest rate significantly. When we decided to purchase the car outright instead of financing it at the increased interest rate, the dealership increased the sales price significantly above the price and MSRP that we had agreed to weeks before when we agreed on a transaction - - terms that were restated in texts during the course of our wait time. We left the dealership without the car and the next day bought a Hybrid Hyundai Tucson Limited from a dealership that was honest and transparent.Awful, terrible customer service

No straight answers about my vehicle, the repair and have no idea when my car will be complete, only that it’s “undriveable”.… Instead of bending over backwards to rectify, I get radio silence…DO NOT SHOP HERE.DO NOT GET TRAPPED WITH KIA
by Nicole on 08/26/2023I am absolutely fed up with Kia and as soon as I can rid myself of this car so I never have to deal with them again, I am. Kia service is so trash! I am currently pulled over on the side of the road to write this review because I am so… frustrated with them. Since the beginning, working with Kia has been a NIGHTMARE! The first time I brought my car in to get serviced, a Kia employee stole $200 worth of gift cards from my car that were going to be used to buy winter coats for children in need. Kia’s response was to take me to Walmart to buy $200 worth of coats/jackets (although the gift cards were to Columbia, big difference in quality). Next, only after a month or so of buying my car (brand new 2020 Kia Soul), it stopped on the highway, leaving me in a very dangerous position. Ultimately I found out the engine had to be completely replaced. My final straw is my Kia was broken into and attempted to be stolen and the service I just received from Kia was so subpar and lazy, I could’ve done a better job my own self. I just came in to get my window temporarily sealed and to set an appointment for an estimate. The guy did such a terrible half a$$ed job wrapping my window, I’ve only made it down the street and it’s already starting to come off. Very little concern or solution for the fact that Kias are being stolen all across the country. THEN I was informed that there is anti-theft software that can be installed for free, however Kia has never even thought to inform their customers of this. We got the impression that this dealership and their employees genuinely cares about their customers and go the… extra mile to treat them well. They all have the desire AND willingness to go the extra mile for you, no matter what the situation. Normally I… despise sales people - I'm 63, and this is the first dealership I've ever dealt with (including Lexus), where I felt no pressure at all to just "look". Michael Motzer our sales rep really really knows his stuff, both about Kia… products and also the industry. He was welcoming, intriguing, and instrumental in our selection of the best fit for our needs. A shout out also to Luke Caldwell the Finance Manager, as he was the most pleasant and competent finance guy we've ever encountered. Indeed, he went the extra mile and improved upon our loan terms even after we had already agreed to a deal with another lender, which saved us thousands in the long run. Who does that level of excellence as a dealership...no one better than Weston. They ROCK, we'll be repeat customers, and we love our incredible Kia Optima!Don't bother with Weston
by austria313 on 01/03/2016I made it very clear in my TrueCar submissions the cars and options I was looking for and that I wanted to be contacted via email. I received an endless string of calls and voicemails from Antoine. He was as relentless as a collector.… Calls during the dinner hour, during normal work hours, etc. When I received an email from him, he did not deliver the rates on the cars I'd selected. I responded reminding him that I needed rates on each of the cars. I can't even tell you how many more emails I received asking me to schedule a visit and a test drive. Each time I told him to send me rates first. Then his manager (forgot her name) called me and asked if I had received what I needed. What a joke! She acted like she was surprised when I told her there were 3 cars that I requested rates on. While I was driving, I had to retell her exactly what I was looking for. She tried to probe me with "Sales 101" questions, which was why I had no interest in talking with these people from the beginning. I told her to give their very best offer. She continued to probe. How much credibility do you have if you won't offer your best deal from the start? This place has no integrity and requires their customers do tons of work and negotiate like crazy, that is if you ever get a rate from them. Guess what happened, a day later I got rates for 1 car not 3 and those rates were not at all competitive. Antoine tells me the rates were sent on 2 of the cars, but those deals were so much better that the 3rd car rates were unnecessary. Ultimately, don't bother with Weston unless you don't mind playing lots of games with a dealership that doesn't listen to you as the customer at all. Stay far away!Great Experience

by mylolo1 on 05/03/2010I WAS a repeat and happy customer of Weston Kia, and came in to purchase my 2nd car from them. I came in to trade in my 2005 Kia Specta LX for a 2006 Kia Spectra SX. I went through the typical paper signing, provided all of my documents… (pay stubs, etc...), and went home with my new car. Soon, my employer started receiving phone calls from the finance company, wanting to know why my pay stubs reflected a different income from what was filled out on the financing paperwork (at which time I contacted Weston, and asked them WHY they had written down a larger income for me. They stated that it was a "typo" and would fix it.). At first, the employer let this go. I was working for a small business at the time, and knew the owners personally. After financing fell through the 1st time, Weston tried a 2nd and also a 3rd finance company....Again.. the same thing. The "typo" was never corrected. What ended up happening is that I lost my job!!! My employer FIRED me because they thought I had lied about my income in order to get a car, and they thought that I was a liar. I contacted Weston and said that I was bringing the car back to them, and I wanted my trade-in back. By this time, even before the financing was completed, Weston had paid-off my trade, and I couldn't get the car back. They would be happy to 're-finance' it for me, but since I no longer had a job, they couldn't offer me any financing. SO, I left the deal with NO car!!!!!! Needless to say, I was furious. I even had to fight them for a month to get my down payment back. This company is the worst of the worst. [violative content deleted]... the lot of them.Best Experience I Had

They quoted me a great price over the phone when I was at another dealership and I went there immediately. The price they quoted me on the phone was the… price I paid. From the moment I arrived, I was taken care of by one sales representative, including the test drive and financing. I'd visited at least 20 dealerships before this one, so I know what I'm talking about when I say that this was the absolute best experience I had at any dealership. No games, no gimmicks, no lies. Being a woman, I'd been given a run-around and ended up walking out of every dealership I'd been to before Weston. I recommend them to every person I meet who is interested in buying a car.Good experiences so far

I was unable to find a car I liked in Longview, WA, Saturday, until 4pm, at which time I went to bank,… "could not get a loan- too late in day". I had no car. I clicked on a santé-fe I found in an internet search and indicated 'I want more details. Mike called me in 5 minutes! He said he could get me in a car (Sunday) immediately. He drove 40 miles to come get me in the Hyundai Sante Fe, and I was sold. Cream puff. 64000 miles, impeccably maintained. I received my loan through Columbia Credit union (I joined on the spot) and truly drove home in my car at 4PM Sunday Afternoon. No hassles, no delays. I did not have to move from my seat in the dealership (impressive pop-art decoration) and yet I was highly satisfied with the detail, concern, completeness of the transaction.Love my Soul

I wanted a car that I could throw all the camping gear in and take off for the weekend. I am partially disabled, so it has to… be easy to get in and out of. I took a test drive and loved the way the Soul drove with the bigger engine. So far driving around town has been a blast. So when it came time to talk, I told Denny J that if he was the only one I would deal with that would be great. Denny took the time to show me all the wonderful features of the Soul. He was very professional, yet fun to deal with. I have no problem recommending both Denny or the dealership to anyone the law allows.Great place to buy a car
