Awesome car buying experience.

by malvernjack on 03/24/2016I bought a 2013 Ford F-150 on 5/14/2015, working with Jim Balch and Alfie, however, over 10 months later, no one at D’ambrosio has been able to help. After a while everyone just began to ignore my calls, emails, and text… messages. Basically, my father and I arrived around 7:30 pm to sign the papers when it was light, and left around 9 pm when it was dark. Due to the darkness, we did not see the large dent and damage caused by someone backing into the truck on the dealer lot when we were leaving. This damage was not there when we arrived as we inspected the truck again, and Jim did not see the damage when he installed the license plate while we were signing the papers. Therefore, we deduced that someone on the lot backed into the truck after Jim installed the license plate and before I left, as I drove straight home without incident. We then noticed the damage the following morning. Alfie was going to look at the security footage, but his search came up empty because my truck happened to be in the one spot on the lot that the cameras did not cover, and he never allowed us to see the footage. He quoted me around $700 to fix the damage, which we were going to negotiate the price. However, I found the correct part for $180 online. Alfie told me to buy that part and he was going to pay half. After multiple trips to the body shop in Frazer, the damage has finally been fixed; which I am only grateful to Ray (manager of the body shop). Ray has been the only person throughout the ordeal who has been true to his word, helpful, and actually communicated with me. It was a nightmare trying to communicate with Alfie, and he has yet to reimburse me the $90 for the part I bought and ordered, over 10 months ago. This was the deal that my father agreed to with Alfie that we would split the cost of the part. The truck was the second vehicle my family purchased from D’ambrosio. If my first car buying experience was a good one, we would have been customers for a long time. Now every time someone mentions D’ambrosio, we tell them how awful the experience was and to go somewhere else. You know what they say about car salesman…Jim and Alfie is where that saying came from!!! They treat you like royalty until you buy, and then you are scum!!!Best Car Salesman Ever

Dave is patient and knowledgeable and definitely has the best interests of his customers in mind. When… my daughter had a car accident three months before graduating from college, we were forced to get her a car to replace the one that was totaled in the accident. We had a limited budget, but after several hours with Dave and multiple test drives, she walked away with a VW Jetta lease. Three years later, Dave got her into a Jeep Cherokee with some very interesting logistical challenges.Great Experience

The first inquiry I sent online in regards to finding a VW Golf R, Jake Jewell was very quick to respond and I would like to thank him for his patience… and kindness when I wasn't able to get back to him immediately due to a loss in the family. We were directed to Sales Consultant Chris Caruso and we can not thank him enough for the exceptional service he provided us. Chris went above and beyond to provide us with all the information we needed and made the purchasing of a new vehicle quick and painless. Tiffany Fiedler from Internet Sales reached out to me after I built my Jeep on jeep.com and requested more information from a local dealer. We… worked back and forth to get down to exactly what I was looking for and where my budget lay. When we were ready to move forward I stopped in and met with Tiffany and she introduced me to Dan Kirby. When Dan couldn't find exactly what I was looking for nearby, he expanded the search and found the one I wanted all the way up in Connecticut. Within 2-3 days they had a dealer trade worked out and my Jeep was ready to pickup. It was a great experience from start to finish and I would recommend that anyone looking for a Jeep stop in to see them.Extremely happy and satisfied

His customer service was excellent and stress free. I told Diego what I… was interested in, my budget and safety concerns, I'm a mother of three so safety is very important to me. And my husband works in construction so we want the option that if he would need an extra vehicle to haul a trailer he can. And Diego helped me find exactly what I wanted. Diego suggested a GMC 2010 Yukon Denali XL from their used inventory and it met all our wants and needs. My family and I are very happy with our choice and the price was very good. by cagrey21 on 11/16/2015This being my first car purchase, I was a little antsy when I decided to drive 5 hours out-of-state to purchase and pick up my wonderfully equipped 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander GT from the dealership. Jake Jewell had set my visit up online… about a week prior to my visit. I arrived a day early with very little warning and they were extremely accommodating. Jack McGrath was the salesman that helped me through the process and was very helpful and informative. Checked out and drove the car for a bit and was pretty stoked. Their financial department worked through an insurance conflict and, despite not being able to resolve the issue that night, were able to get me off the lot in my new car before it was too much past their closing time. Extremely helpful people! When I look for my next vehicle in the future I will definitely search Jeff D'Ambrosio's inventory before consulting anywhere else. Thanks all! We had a tricky financial situation and were dreading the process. They both made… truly it smooth and simple. They weren't AT ALL pushy, and made sure I was comfortable with the final decision, even calling me at home one last time to give me a heads up on a minor change, before I went in to sign the final paperwork. Not only did I have a great experience, I feel like I made 2 new friends. Thanks Jeff! You have two outstanding gentlemen working on your team!!I didn't want to leave.

Dave paused between every bit of info he gave me to make sure I understood what was going on and encouraged me to ask questions.… No pressure on me to make any decision but the right one. At times I almost forgot why I was there cause he was so engaging and welcoming. I recommend to anyone looking for a car or service to stop by Jeff D'Ambrosio at least see what customer service should be like.Wrangler Sport w/bad clutch
by magpieddl on 10/07/2015I purchased a 2012 Wrangler Sport around March 2014 w/ 18,900 miles. Did not tow with it due to it took them about 5 months for the hitch to be placed and missed the season to RV. I Drove it a total of 4,800 miles then towed my 1,200 lb RV… out with the Wrangler, ia short distance to Lancaster Pa on 08/06/15. The clutch smelled strongly with backing up. Then when returning home the clutch blew with whatever else is connected to it. Towed it to D'Ambrosio. I am so upset that after they looked it it cost me over $1,800 total bill. Told me no warranty, a clutch goes around 12,000 miles and that I must be using the clutch incorrectly and pulling a weight over the recommended load! It was a nightmare when I bought it and now even more so with a car payment and no way to pay this exorbitant bill on my credit card. A nightmare. I've been driving a clutch since 1973. My clutches NEVER go less than 70,000 miles or more. I've been towing this r/v with my 99 Wrangler Sport for 11years and plowing for longer with it. They sold me a car with a defective clutch and obviously these new wrangler sports can't tow anything. I am so sorry I went there. Never will return again. They obviously need a new way to test their clutches when inspecting their used cars. I am so upset with them. I cannot wait to get rid of this car and buy something that worked like my old and awesome Wrangler Sport. Terrible terrible experience.Phenomenal Customer Service

I live about an hour away so I called Dave, told him what I needed and what my… payments had to be and he basically shopped for me. He chose a GMC Terrain that far exceeded my needs and my expectations. I had more "extras" in that car then I could dream, and all of it fit my budget. I drove up, test drove the car and fell in love before the finance dept finished the paperwork. I would trust David to pick a car for me sight unseen because his integrity and commitment is unparalleled. He will go the distance to satisfy his customers. by nedraca on 06/05/2015My wife and I went into Jeff D'Ambrosio's lot looking at a Jeep Compass. Once we got in and test drove, we both came to the conclusion that it was too small. Dan Kirby, our salesperson, saw that we were kind of iffy about the vehicle, and… asked direct questions about what we needed. Within 5 minutes, he came back with a Jeep Cherokee that was comparably priced and equipped. It was exactly the car we were looking for. Dan did not try to force us into anything, and he listened to what we were saying. He answered all of our questions expertly, and he was a nice guy to top it off. by joedog8 on 11/02/2014Dan Kirby and Neil Pufko gave me the price I wanted on a new 2015 Journey. After I drove the Journey I knew it was the model that I wanted. All black inside and out, leather and mesh seats, you name it, it's in there. The test ride sold it… with leather wrapped wheel, big center screen in the console, voice controls, Bluetooth connection. Switches are all easy to find, easy to connect cell phone to Bluetooth, Tire pressure monitors, airbags all around, a truly modern interior. Dan Kirby was awesome to deal with. When we took the test ride, Dan started the Journey up and had some other things to do so the wife and I went for a short spin, had to time to check it out all around on our own. We got a price on it from Dan, then tried one other dealer to see if they had a model without the third row seat. Dan and Neil called my wife in the meantime with a offer we couldn't refuse. They came up on my trade in value and down on the cost of the third row seat. Dan is a personable guy, truly wants you to get the right car at the right price. We spoke in plain terms about the deal, and the price to us was around five thousand dollars off the MSRP. Pretty damn good. This dealership is huge. They offer a IPAD mini give away, a gift card just for stopping in, and they have a huge service department as well, plus free wifi big screen TV and large seating area while waiting for service etc. I bought my last car from Jeff D'ambrosio Auto Center, and I'm sure I'll get my next car from them to!2015 Mitsu Mirage

I really did not know what to replace my Audi 6 2001 with so I looked around the lot alone, went in the show room from the rain looked at what was inside, walked back out and Bob… Whelan came out to ask if I needed help, from there it was a PIECE OF CAKE! (not even an hour) Bob asked me all the right questions, by my answers he was able to place me in a car that was PREFECT. Listening and Understanding a persons needs and wants is a GIFT. Granted going from an Audi 6 to a Mitsu Mirage is totally a big difference, but I am very HAPPY with my choice, great price, gas mileage, warranty, plus it is a sharp little car!!!! ps Lenny Condi and Niel are excellent with numbers, the little time I was in there I met very nice employees, even the owner Jeff was on site.
