    Even though we travel 25 miles (and there are three other Subaru dealers much closer) We bought a new Forester from Steve Moyer Subaru because we really liked the way we were treated, every employee we met was happy to be there and we received an excellent direct no-nonsense deal and trade value. Also, being a serious car guy having restored and owning several antique and collector cars, was so impressed by the Forester, 8 months later I sold my beloved Jeep, went back to Steve Moyer Subaru and bought a new Forester for myself! The experience was like coming back to visit old friends. I have been to many over the years and no other dealership has ever been this great. In conclusion; I am now a huge fan of Steve Moyer Subaru and am a loyal convert to the Subaru brand. In fact, we have recommended numerous friends and family to Steve Moyer Subaru resulting in 6 additional new car sales with every one of them being quite pleased.

    We had a great, hassle free buying experience, no pressure at all. Special thanks to Bernie Ferretti from the Moyer Auto group, and also Robert Fruscella and Scott Fisher from Steve Moyer Subaru for making this a pleasant and smooth buying experience. They also gave us a great value on our trade in with a lot of miles on it. Scott was very patient showing us all the features of our new Forester. Highly recommend!

  • Service department is suspect.

    I took my car in a few months ago because I lost boost and power. It seemed like something was blocking the exhaust. Turns out both cats were clogged. They replaced them under warranty. I know that just don't happen. So, I asked them why that happened to a car with 75K miles on it? They couldn't give me an answer. They told me my car was fine and gave it 90% rating. A little over a month goes by and I start having similar issues. I take it back to them. They tell me my turbo is now going bad. And to replace it would be over 3K to replace it. I, being around cars all my life didn't think that was the proper diagnosis. I checked things out myself. Turns out I'm losing compression in cylinder 4 (85lbs vs 130lbs in the rest). That is why the cats clogged to start this saga. Their service department is suspect.

  • I bought my first ever new car from Steve Moyer Subaru a few weeks ago.

    Even up to current age 60, I had always bought used cars with roughly 100k miles; but I always like the Subaru brand and models, even though I never owned one. I was replacing a 1999 Jeep Gr. Cher. with 230K mi. I intended to by a used Subaru of more recent years, but with accommodation of the staff, quality of the new car, and their willingness to make a deal, left anything less than buying a new one being a dumb deal. They really do go out of their way to serve you: friendly and hospitable staff, very efficient operation, and nice clean place with respect to the customer. I am very happy with the new vehicle's looks and performance, and I feel like their "door is always open" to address any need or concern I may have. I thank them, and it has been a pleasure doing business with them! Regards, Jeff

    My experience was excellent at Steve Moyer. I have purchased several cars from them in the past, and they always do right by the customer. This was my first time purchasing a brand new vehicle, and they helped me quickly decide between a new Subaru outback and forester. They were then quick to get me pricing within my budget, and walked me through every step of the way in a professional manor. Josh B.     Best customer service and quality vehicle. I am so very impressed with the dealership. I did a lot of the communication through email ahead of time so I could make one trip and Chris was awesome in getting me information and pricing I was so happy with. I had a wonderful experience and got a great deal on my Subaru Outback. The finance guy was awesome explaining ever detail to me also. Thank you both !!!!

    Steve Moyer Subaru, Joe Pritz our salesman, and the whole financial and management staff made purchasing a new Outback the nicest car buying experience we had in decades. Joe helped us determine our actual, real world needs and did not attempt to sell us a vehicle with options we would never need or use just to boost any profits or commissions. A bonus was when Andrea took all the time that we needed to familiarize us with our new Outback.

    I had been car shopping for a very long time and had even extended the lease on my previous vehicle due to COVID restrictions. I had terrible experiences at other dealerships when it came to the negotiation phase and even had a few bait and switch attempts. I checked in with Moyer Subaru on a whim, as I'd always wanted a Subaru but never settled on one. I showed up and spoke to Mark about lease and buy options on a 2021 Outback. He provided good info and within a bit I was offered a deal that I couldn't say no to. Within a few weeks my car arrived and picking it up was easy and there were no surprises in any of the paperwork and everything was exactly as we had discussed. To finally find a place willing to listen to my needs and be willing to work with me was a huge load off my back, especially after so many negative experiences elsewhere. Thank you!
