    Really enjoy the service department at BMW of Columbia. Kyle and Aundrea and of course the service manager always are concerned about your experience with their service as are the technicians, Stanley is my guy! These guys are like extended family and friends, very professional, and I always enjoy working with them when I need service.

  • Oil change and Tire repair

    I took my car to the dealership at 8 AM and instead of them doing the oil change that I requested and diagnose why my tire was leaking air, they decided to do all these other things to try to give me a $2600 bill and then when I asked them to try to see if my warranty will cover it, nobody answers the phone for me. I literally got switched between five different services, advisors and less than an hour and a half of trying to call on the phone and nobody has responded to me or done what I asked.

    The 1st service on my 2023 BMW X4 that I purchased Dec 2022 with 2 miles on it.  Now 8000 miles later I was advised that the tires are at the midway point which was pretty concerning. No, hard driving typically its driven-on average twice a week and kept in the garage.  After talking to the service advisor about it he made a few calls, and the end result was that the tires lifespan is 16000 miles. I’m disappointed that the tires on this new luxury vehicle will need to be replaced every 16 months for an average driver. Not quite what I expected from BMW such a high-quality vehicle with questionable tires. Folks should probably know before buying what the maintenance cost would be upfront. Not sure if a tire package would help offset the cost. I have already had a tire replaced due to a bubble on the sidewall at about 2000 miles in. It cost me $550 dollars for a new tire I had suspicions that it was a defect but was told that Bridgestone probably wouldn’t honor it and my warranty did not cover it. After this latest news I’m more incline to think this is a tire issue…..   However, I did have an awesome service advisor Demetris who did his best to get me answers even though I wasn’t completely happy. He gets the 5 stars.. His customer service skills served him well and I am sure many other customers feel the same.

  • Expected better and honest service

    Continually received misleading emails for promotional discounts and after calling dealership confirming discounts on services needed was ensured discount could be used. The day of service was advised unable to be used. Additionally, issues with TPM AFTER getting a tire changed due to fire run flat being changed. The car was working fine and alerted me tire pressure, after having the tire change left dealership and TPM no longer worked. I returned to dealership 2 days later to advise of issue and possible incorrect connection and was quoted $300+ for bad TPM . No mention at the time may be able to use warranty. Months later, purchased 2 more tires and asked if I can get TPM. Was advised would be cheaper sinve tires service was advised cost would be $189. When service was completed for tires TPM light still on. Took back to dealership minutes later. . After asking why service wasn’t completed was advices $189 was not the correct price as adviced by service employee. When I asked about warranty was advised warranty will cover but now all 4 TPM s need changing however, labor costs so expensive will still have to come out of pocket nearly $500 just to cover service. Taking car to another dealership just so that I can use the warranty without having to come out of pocket and to verify all 4 sensors are in fact faulty because again, they were working when I took the vechile in. Highly disappointed in service, misleading coupons, and incorrect quotes
  • Service Dept provided unsatisfactory service

    service advisor Tony failed to keep me updated on my car repair progress and when he knew he would be off, he didn’t have anyone handle tit for him. My car was there for over 2 weeks and the service manager Yeltsin is the only one who provided quick and satisfactory responses. The Loaner car that was brought to me after my car wasn’t fixed in a week had major problems with the brakes and auto correct on steering. I did not feel safe driving and told Tony twice. He did nothing about it. It should never have been loaned out in that condition. I want notified that my car was ready and wasn’t aware it until I called for update. It sat there for over 24 hrs ready to go without notification to me.
  • Solid…with a catch

    I had a routine oil change service and I asked them to check a wheel that may need rebalancing. Matthew was my service advisor and he was polite, knowledgeable and thorough. They did the service and checked the wheel. They ended up rebalancing all 4 but just charged me for 2. The catch is I was there for 3 hours. Expected it to be 1.5 or 2 hours. My only suggestion is to ask about the time but give yourself a bit of extra time. It would have been helpful for planning purposes if I would have known. 3 hours seems a bit much for an oil change and tire balancing.
