All sales people were extremely friendly. Derrick Ware was the one that made our experience the best. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about anything. We thought we received a great car at a fair price. We were happy with everything. The only thing we didn't like was the high cost of the extended warranties, which we felt we had to take since the car had a lot of electronics, which most cars do now.

  • Great experience!

my husband and I just bought our first car from Honda of Cleveland and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Robert Lawson and Mike Hamby are top notch. They worked with us to get the best deal for our budget and even added on extra warranty when we were concerned with the mileage on the car we had chosen. Thank you, Honda of Cleveland, for taking such good care of your customers!

  • Nice but not considerate

We called on a Friday afternoon to ask if a certain vehicle was still available. It was still there as of 430pm. We made an appointment to test drive it the next morning at 10am. We drove an hour to get there only to find out they had sold the car the night before. And they had nothing else to offer us. Call me old fashioned but a sure would have been nice of them to call us and tell us it sold before we drive out there for nothing.

  • True Review of my experience - Ask for Chris Petty

5 out of 5 starsby USAirForce on 04/14/2015

Here is the difference, most dealers try so hard to get the sell (that’s their job) they great you with “Let me show you this”, “You need this” or “What payment you looking for?” When I talked to Chris Petty, he said “How can I help you?” and “What can I do for you?” You see the difference? Chris started out putting “you” first. The whole dealership is that way! Truth is, there are as many car dealers as fast food places, selling every make, model, color and year with options I didn't even know existed. The folks at Honda of Cleveland know that and you feel it the moment you arrive at the lot. The whole business seems to be based on trust, no pressure, and customer service. In fact, we looked over some Civics, found one we liked, drove it, told Chris and he did the rest. I got a cup of coffee propped my feet up and relaxed while Chris and others would occasionally walk by to fill me in on the status. I would just smile and get back to watching the game on TV. I felt like a rock star or something. I was somebody! To top off everything else I walked back to re-fill my coffee cup and there was a lady in the service department, getting the same “Rock Star” treatment. I just smiled and went back to relaxing.

Did deal over the phone and flew in to drive back to OH. No wait at the airport, driver was waiting for me. Car was serviced ready with a full tank of gas, I was on the road in 45 min. Call Rodney B. he made it easy.

We posted an inquiry on Honda of Cleveland's web site and heard back from a sales representative shortly thereafter. We arranged for a test drive, found the CR-V we wanted on our initial visit to the lot, and bought it that day. All of the staff we encountered were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had.

I was very serious about purchasing a Honda crv.we noticed a vehicle on the new car lot we were interested in.this happened to be on a sunday so they were closed.i called Monday a.m. and asked to speak with a sales rep..iwas connected with a sales person asked questions about this car.he said he would get the information together with pricing and call me back.he never called so I called and asked for another sales person on Tuesday .I was connected to another sales person.i asked the same questions, she said she would get the info along with pricing and call me back.i never heard from her either.that is why i'm saying don't waste your time with a dealership that is not interested in communicating with a potential customer.we purchased a new crv a few day's later from a dealership that actually wanted our business.
