Poor Customer Service
by BA on 01/13/2021I went into Collierville Mercedes late December 2020 to look at a used vehicle. Upon my entrance to the establishment I was greeted by a salesman. I inquired about the vehicle I was interested in and the salesman went off to find out if… they still had it. While waiting for him to return, I was passed by several other staff members who did not greet or acknowledge me. When the salesman returned with the keys to the vehicle, we went to look at it. After taking a loot at the vehicle, I made it very clear I was interested in purchasing the vehicle and even gave the information on my trade-in to get some of the steps out of the way. After leaving the dealership, I communicated with the salesman via text and informed him I would be back that evening around 5:15PM to purchase the vehicle. Several more texts were exchanged between myself and the salesman throughout the afternoon with intentions of purchasing the vehicle that afternoon. I arrived at the dealership around 5:15PM as stated to him in text earlier that day. The weather was not the best, cold and raining and the dealership had parked the vehicle close to the front door but was not covered. After test driving the vehicle I knew I wanted it but I wanted my husband to take a look at it. I told the salesman he was on the way but was stuck in traffic and coming from about 30 mins away from the dealership. Around 5:45PM the salesman informed me that we may not be able to proceed with the sale that night because the finance department had gone home because of the rain. He even stated that they did not think I would come back because of the rain, even though I communicated via text several messages that I would return. I wasn't comfortable with proceeding but also felt rushed because the salesman informed that if we could get it done within the next 20 mins everything should be able to go through. So, I proceed with the purchase. My husband finally arrived about 5 mins after starting paperwork. after 20mins the finance manager came out and informed me that due to the mileage on the vehicle the bank wasn't allowing the full amount. He offered to wait until the morning and try another bank. I was never asked if I had an alternate payment method so I told the finance manager I had my own bank I could go through. Within 5 mins I had my loan processed through my bank and paperwork done about 20 mins later. I left the dealership with a used car, that had not been detailed. No one bothered to detail the vehicle while I was doing paperwork. For this to be a well established dealership I felt very out of place and unwelcome for not being one of their "regular" customers. If it had not been for the vehicle being what I was looking for I would not have purchased. A day after having the vehicle I noticed a noise. I asked the salesman if they would take a look at it and he got back with me saying no. I understood what I was buying given that it had higher mileage but to only have the vehicle one day I would have thought the dealership would have at least offered to take a look at it. Very disappointed in my experience.Excellent Experience

We knew what we wanted and they did not try to sell us anything else. We were already pre-qualified so we knew where we wanted to be on… price and they were up front during negotiations. We got a great deal and they were good to us on the trade. Highly recommend Brandon if you are in the market for a Sprinter or Metris Van. He knows them bumper to bumper.Great Experience

Our salesman was very personable, knowledgeable and spent time with us explaining all the features of the SUV we were interested in purchasing.… After signing paperwork, our salesman introduced us to the Service Manager and the General Manager. Didn't over sale the car nor did he talk down the other car dealerships vehicles I… spoke of. Monday December 30, 2014, I pursch my first Benz, 2015 E400 Loaded coupe. Financing took 20-30 minutes at best and they kept me in the loop at each stage. John in finance was very professional and Bruce made sure that he spent at least 20-30 minutes showing me all the features of the E400 and there are a lot. I'm going back because I've forgotten some. Wow what a 1ST!
