SERVICE AWFUL-SALES PERSON OF CAR GREAT
by milliemac on 11/30/2023First let me start by saying my salesperson was great-JAN was her name. No problem there- BUT after I received my car 2 weeks later the service engine light came on- I was in a meeting across the street from The CoolSprings dealership so I… thought I would just pull in the service department and let them know- I knew it was a diagnostic issue and they would need for me to return and them test it- I pulled into a bay- Guy came out - no one else was there so not busy- he could hardly function on getting the info- he went into the building and came back out a few times- then finally he said for me to come into service center and make an appointment- we then walk thru the main service counter to behind the counter and ended up me hovering over a girl at the switch board- HOW STRANGE - she was rude and like I was a bother- ask my name to look up - she found nothing- then ask for my vin number- told me to go to the car and get it- still she was like I was a bother- I feel like the service person should have gone and got the VIN off my car- but anyway she got it said they had nothing until December if I wanted a loaner- or I could drop off on Monday- I agreed to Monday- and booked Dec also just in case- SHE WAS SO HATEFUL - I drove off told my husband the ordeal and he said HECK NO NOT after buying a NEW car ---this treatment would not work- SO I called my prior dealer MERCEDES OF MUSIC CITY- they took my info then pulled up my VIN and got me in that day- NO PROBLEM!!! I pulled in- They had 3 guys come out w/ iPads- checked me in-& they were busy- then went inside to my assigned Service person- which she had an office for me to sit! - she reviewed everything w/ me - got me a latte - and then off I went TOTALLY FIRST CLASS SERVICE---- MY SUGGESTION AS A BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL IS THAT MERCEDES OF NASHVILLE NEEDS TO DO AN ON SITE VIST TO MERCEDES OF MUSIC CITY- THAT IS HOW IT IS DONE!!!!!! I tried several years ago to buy a car from MB Nashville and had a crappy ordeal- went then to MB Music City and was treated excellent- went back before I purchased this car and they did not have anything but MB Nashville did have what I wanted- although it was sold by the time I went in soooo they ordered my new car- JAN like I said was great- BUT I had a crappy salesperson before her- I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS W THEM AGAIN- I did contact my sales person Jan to tell her the service issue and she said I should have a called her BUT I DO NOT FEEL LIKE I SOULD HAVE TO INVOLE MY SALES PERSON TO GET SOMETHING TAKEN CARE OF! it felt like home when I went back to MB MUIC CITY- NEVER GOT A GREAT FEELING AT MB NASHVILLE- I DO NOT EXPECT SPECIAL TREATMENT BUT SPENDING THIS KIND OF MONEY ON A CAR IT SHOULD BE REALLY NICE- AND EASY!!!!!Hi Milliemac, we can assure you that we do not find this type of behavior acceptable, and we would like to address the situation you have described. Professionalism is priceless
by BigFamMan on 06/02/2023As a family, we've purchased now six used cars from MB of Nash over the past 3 years. Each buying experience had its high points... and low points. Regardless, the decorum of quality and professionalism seems ever present at the dealership.… Most notable is the placement of sales and operations management at the very front of the entrance. Accessibility to Tom and Kirt facilitates a generally quick and efficient buying process. They negotiate openly and provide confidence. Additionally, the floor sales team is accommodating and helpful to coordinate the purchase steps. Perhaps my one consistent point of frustration is two fold: 1) purchased used cars have at times required follow-on trips back to the dealership (post-sale) as service work may not have been completed properly, and 2) the process to potentially purchase extended warranties needs to be made much clearer, credible, and conducive to an educated buying decision. Much more could be said on these topics, though the overarching view is that MB of Nash provides an intuitive website for online shopping, a professional purchase experience (with the noted exception of extended warranty sales angst), and a valued venue for continued used car acquisitions; that is, as the family continues to mature.Thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Mercedes-Benz of Nashville! CPO GLS 450
by Charlie on 02/01/2023We were looking for an SUV in which to haul our recumbent trikes to various trails for riding activities. We had looked at all the upper echelon SUVs including the Audi, Mercedes (at Mercedes Benz of Macon and Mercedes Benz of Music City),… and Kia (Telluride). We were out yesterday looking at and measuring the Audi Q7 at another Sonic dealer in Brentwood. We finished with that task and while Mercedes Benz of Nashville had previously not had any CPOs in the GLS 450, I decided to call to see if there were any of that model on the lot. The person answering the phone told me that there was one available and so we went right over and, as fate would have it, we ended the day buying the newly traded in 2022 GLS 450 with Jan Crick being our advisor through the process. Jan was great at all the information on that vehicle and we had been leaning in that brand direction which made it easier for us to understand the process. We had test driven the GLS 450 in Macon with the guidance of Marcus Simpson of Jackson Automotive just the week preceding this acquisition. We had actually discussed going back to Macon and buying at that dealership; but we had previously bought from Mercedes Benz of Nashville (E350 sedan in 2008). So we felt confident and somewhat brand and dealership loyal to go back to our local dealer. Hence, our somewhat unplanned call and visit to Mercedes Benz of Nashville yesterday. We drove away satisfied with the purchase we made. As an addendum, Ryan Storm and our finance closing agent, Jay, were very good and efficient at explaining everything about this purchase, Ryan was especially helpful in explaining the cost/benefit planning for post purchase care of this vehicle. We will be coming back to Mercedes Benz of Nashville for another car in a few years to replace the 2006 E350.Hi Charlie, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us at Mercedes-Benz of Nashville. From the moment I entered the dealership, my experience with Greg and the staff was… courteous, professional, and informative. All the information on the purchase was explained in detail and exactly as presented in our conversations. There was no high pressure to purchase additional options that I didn't want for my car. The car I purchased was on the showroom floor for my inspection before any paperwork was signed. The most helpful part of the sale was that Greg sat with me in the car to go over all the options and how to use them. He even programmed my phone to Apple car play. I cannot express how much I appreciate Greg Miles and the staff at Mercedes Benz Nashville for making this the best car buying experience ever!
