    Whether you're buying a new car for the first time or you've bought others in the past, you should make Champion Toyota (Austin) your 1st stop. Our sales experience on 9/15/07 was abosultely NO stress, which has never been the case on my previous purchases, nor was it the case with other dealerships we visited. I had requested an online quote on a website (can't remember which one now, but not dealer specific). Jim Lee from Champion called me the next morning, while we were actually visiting another dealership. I asked if he had a certain model in stock, which he did, and proceded to give me both the MSRP, as well as Champion's price, over the phone. This was already about $1000 less than the "best" deal we were presented with at the dealership we were at. We kindly excused ourselves from that store and drove down to Champion. Immediately upon meeting Jim Lee face to face, we felt no stress, and were actually having a good time making a purchase. Jim was very knowledgeable, and very straight-forward... no hassles, no games, no haggling - just got to the bottom line up front, which was a VERY pleasant surprise. Most dealerships ask "What can we do to earn your business?". Well, I think most car buyers would agree that the best way to do that is to stop the games... i.e. running back and forth between the customer and the "manager" with dueling offers. Jim, at Champion, didn't do that. He didn't HAVE to do that. He gave us their best price up front, but then actually wound up taking another couple hundred off, because the car really had more options than what we needed. All in all, from my research, it looks like we got our car at or just barely over invoice price. As long as he's still at a Toyota Dealership, I will definitely buy my next car from Jim! Aside from the actual sale process, the rest of the process was great, too... the finance guy; the guy who went over all the warranty & features; as well as just the process of having the car clean and gas tank full before we drove off. If there was anything at all that was not "perfect" about the experience - it would be that we sat in the waiting room and finished watching the UT football game before we signed all the paperwork. But, you see, our finance guy was actually thinking of us and allowing us to finish watching the game, rather than interrupting. He knew my husband really wanted to watch the game (which turned out to be a "nail biter"). A minor lack of communication... but really turned out for the best. These guys at Champion (or at least the ones we dealt with) are by far the best (in my opinion). None of my previous car buying experiences could come close to the absolutely painless (and somewhat "fun") experience we had with Champion. Like I said before - we'll definitely go back, when it's time for another car!

    I just recently purchased a 2008 Scion XB, my first new car. We are a truck family. Our son has been looking for something unique and fun for us all, he found it. Wade Higginbotham was such a great help in working with us and such a nice and honest man. He and all the staff at Champion Toyota Scion Austin made our purchase an easy and enjoyable experience. Though we have just had our car for a week, our whole family has enjoyed it and take turns driving it. I would like to thank Wade for all his help.     Bob Moore at Champion Toyota in Austin, TX is about the best car sales consultant you will ever find. He is nice, honest and a great guy. He really works with you to find the best car and he does not play any games with you. I also am a big fan of Champion Toyota. I just bought my 3rd 4Runner from them. The sales consultant I bought my other two from now works in the service department so he referred me to Mr. Moore. I was completely satisfied with the whole deal. They gave me a fair trade on the 2003 4Runner and got my payments where I wanted them with NO hassle. In contrast, I stopped at another local Toyota dealership to make sure I was getting a good deal. There was no comparison. That other dealership was a joke. I have had all my Toyotas serviced at Champion Toyota and have nothing but great service. I highly recommend this dealership and Bob Moore.

    One of the best; highly recommended My husband and I have worked with Charlie Akin at Champion Toyota for the purchase of two different new Toyotas, in 2004 and 2007. He makes the process a joy. The contrast between working with him and working with other salespersons is incredible; his honesty is obvious; he does not play "games," he is straightforward and helpful; he listens to what you say, honors what your requests are, and does not try to "hype" you into a deal you do not want. When we were talking to other salespersons and visiting at other dealerships, the process of buying a car was an oppressive experience. When we talked to Charlie, we could relax, smile, and move forward with a normal, pleasant, business transaction that just happened to be a large ticket item. I am recommending him to everyone I can think of--my friend has already purchased a used 2007 RAV4 from him! She and her husband also agreed that Charlie was a pleasure to do business with. We'll keep in touch with Charlie and go to him the next time we are in the market for a vehicle. Charlie goes above and beyond what you expect from a salesperson. Excellence PLUS!

    My wife and I recently purchased a 2013 Toyota Camry XLE from AutoNation Toyota South Austin. The Sales Person we dealt with was Teddy L., a most congenial, knowledgable, and helpful representative of this dealership. Teddy did an excellent job of matching our vehicle needs with a new car that was within our price range. The negotiations were handled in a very professional manner. There was never any hint of negotiations that weren't above board. We are very pleased with our new Camry and highly recommend this dealership.

    After receiving my request for a bid through Edmonds, Jim L. was the first to call to clarify things. His bid was $1,000 over the lowest bid I received, but after one phone call and a chat with the dealership manager, they met the lower price, which was lower than Edmunds estimate of cost. When I went in to trade my old car in and finalize the deal, they gave me an appraisal of $500 less than I wanted, but they gave me the $500 without any balking. The best hassle free car buying experience ever and the friendliest folks. I'm a happy customer.

    I had a great experience last weekend working with Scott. He had the two cars waiting for me to test drive when I arrived at the dealership since we had talked about the features I wanted in my new car. Scott made me a great offer on the purchase on the car I liked best so I bought the car that day. So far I have had a great experience with this dealership!

    We had Roland as the Sales person and the Sales Manager was Darren. They were both great to work with as was the dealership. They gave us a fair price for our trade from the start and a great price for the Camry Hybrid we purchase. We had a set or expectations and things we wanted and they did everything they could to provided everything we wanted. They honored every commitment and never hesitated to provide us with anything we ask for in writing without a question. We started going to this dealership for service on our Camry Hybrid we purchased elsewhere and the customer service we received got us to buy from them. I cannot imagine buying a new Toyota anywhere else.

    I dealt with Walter R when I was in the market to trade in my 2010 Ford Escape. I was interested in a Toyota Prius. Walter was very professional in explaining to me the features of the Prius during the test drive. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about the Prius. Once we got to the negotiation about the trade in value for the Escape, there wasn't any pressure to get the deal done. We went back and forth a couple of times and closed the deal. Walter made sure that things were being taken care of while I waited for the finance folks to get the paperwork done. I took a bit longer than expected to get all the paperwork done. I think it was because they were really busy that day but still I would try and make the waiting period a little shorter, if possible. Other than that, I would highly recommend Walter R to anyone and everyone. In the first week after I purchased a Prius, there were a couple of minor issues with the rear windshield wiper and the car remotes. Walter got the two issues sorted out and he even provided me with a rental car to avoid me waiting at the dealership. Kudos to Walter!

    Wow! We had a great experience with the Autonation group and with our sales rep Trey H. Trey provided us with a lot of information via phone before we got to the dealership. When we got there he knew the cars in our budget and had the keys ready to test drive. The sales group was very helpful and gave us several pricing/budget scenarios where we picked the one that suited us the best! The finance and delivery departments were fantastic, providing us with the information we need. I want to send my family here now!

    Another kudos for Jim L. I spent 7 hours at another dealership (see my review of Round Rock Toyota) getting the runaround from 5 so-called "sales managers" and had given up on all car dealers when a friend recommended I give Jim a call. I had previously avoided Auto Nation in my car search because of the horrible experience I had with their service department (see my other review), but my friend had some really good things to say about Jim so I gave him a chance. In 15 minutes, in email, he beat Round Rock's best offer (that took hours of negotiation) by $2,000! I really appreciate Jim's no-nonsense approach. He may actually be an honest car salesman. When my special order Tacoma didn't get here as quickly as expected, he even set me up in a loaner for a trip I had planned in the gap. Exceptional service! Best of all, the price was exactly what we had agreed to, no surprises.

    As I reported in my original review, I encountered some serious problems in the financing process when purchasing my 2013 Camry hybrid from AutoNation of Austin. When the dealership learned of my dissatisfaction, I was contacted in effort to find a positive resolution. The problem has been rectified to my total satisfaction. I most express my deepest gratitude to Darren M. for handling the situation with such professionalism and diplomacy. He took the necessary steps to correct the problem.     I bought a new Tundra last week and am incredibly pleased with my experience there. My salesperson was Trey Hudgens and he did a great job working with me through the process. No pressue, even when it came time to negotiate was much appreciated. They are building a whole new showroom and there is contruction, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. I will definitely be back.

    I didn't initially come in to buy a car; I just wanted to see what the trade-in value on my 2007 Corolla was. I ended up walking out with a very affordable 2013 Prius C. My first brand new car! Alex L. worked with me tirelessly and into after-closing-hours to get me a low monthly payment with an excellent interest rate. I also worked with Nick D. (not the singer!) in the finance department to lock in a competitive price on my warranty with tons of helpful add-ons. Both gentlemen made the process comfortable, quick, and headache free.     Just bought a used car from Champion...best car-buying experience ever. Everyone we dealt with went out of their way to make it a great experience. Had a question for service a couple of days later and they were the same helpful professionals. Top-notch customer service all around...got an awesome car at an awesome price, no pressure. Would highly recommend this dealership to friends looking for a new or used car. Was so impressed, the 30 mi drive is nothing when I know I'll be treated right.

    My sales person was Jesse J., he was knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and worked hard to find a vehicle with my options/color selections. Price negotiations were in-line with Edmunds True Value right from the start, there was no sales BS. FYI, Texas has a ligit Toyota marketing cost of $995, which is listed as 'unknown' on Edmunds, a factor in your final cost estimate. I'd buy from this dealer again.

    I've purchased 20 or so cars over the last 40 years and this was the easiest car buying experience I've had. After the normal research on Edmund's, Consumer's Research, etc. and the test drive, Jim gave me the best price right away for both the Highlander and our trade, all with - no haggling, etc. The prices were good and the financing (0% for 60 months) and finance guy (Korey) was also very straightforward and easy. Great experience.
