A welcome relief from overly abrasive dealerships

The CX-5 was immediately available for a test drive and Charles had quick, specific answers to every question.… Details for a sale were completed without intervention needed from any other representative. The dealership was buzzing with customers and sales representatives. Announcements were made and clapping and cheering for each sale. This positive atmosphere and big smiles were so rewarding. Most of all, the CX-5 met my criteria with size, safety, adjustable driver's seat, top quality luxury, computerized features, quiet interior, quick response, good turning radius and even color. Horrible customer service, manager doesn’t care
by Jennifer on 02/07/2019First, myself and another customer waited at the counter for several minutes while the 3 women in the offices did not acknowledge us or come out to find someone else to help. I later learned that at least one of them was on lunch break, and… although I understand and respect the time off, I also feel that her position should have been staffed in her absence. During this time, there were three employees at computer stations, one on her cell phone, the other assisting a customer over the phone, a third man with a beard in the middle of the other two, looking around, appearing bored. The man on the phone assisting a customer was a larger man in the corner. I say this because the employee with the beard watched a customer walking outside who was about the same size as the larger man on the phone next to him, and the bearded employee made a comment to the girl on her cell phone that “if he ever got that fat, should shoot him in the head”. Obviously this comment was loud enough for me to hear it at the service desk, and probably the customers behind me sitting down waiting for their cars to be completed. I internally debated for several minutes calling him out and saying something right then and there, and now that I’ve left I regret not doing so. It was highly offensive and completely unprofessional. I feel bad for the employee on the phone if he heard that comment. It was at this time that a service technician, I assume only because his uniform appeared as if he was working directly on cars, came in and recognized we were waiting and went and got someone to assist us. So out of the six employees in the room, it took an employee in a different department walking into the room to acknowledge us. Second, I would like to request that Cynthia Ramirez be taken off of my account. Every experience I’ve ever had with her has not been positive. I would not go so far to say that it’s ever been negative, until today. Until today, she’s just been generally unfriendly, never smiles, however again, nothing worth my time to communicate. Today, I came to pick up my car, admittedly a couple days late. I have had no issues with the service desk other than what was mentioned above, once the lady with short blond hair came out today, she was incredibly friendly and took care of me promptly. Additionally, the lady with shoulder length brunette hair with blonde highlights and a butterfly ring left her lunch break later on to help & every interaction I’ve had with her has been very friendly. Today, I dropped off the loaner vehicle, (which I might add is the primary reason I utilize your location over any other, even though I drive from the Galleria to get there), and I drove away in my Mazda as it had a glowing, all green, perfect full circle inspection report. As I pulled out of your drive, I realized that my check engine light was on. I turned around and came back. Lady with the blonde hair directed me to Cynthia who came over and stared at me without saying anything. I stuck out my hand and shook her hand and introduced myself, knowing she would know my name based on our text communication this past few days. Not only did her cold demeanor continue, she blamed me for the check engine light being on, said that I was alerted to this and refused any work to be done on it. I stated that was false and I expected to pick up my car in perfect running order. I even paid $150 for a detail clean for this exact reason. Long story short, I left my car there to be inspected, left in the loaner, and she texted me to say that there was a misunderstanding and that it was their fault. Nowhere in there was an apology for wasting my time today, taking me out of work for over an hour (I don’t official lunch breaks, I eat at my desk while still working, I stay until my team is taken care of and my work is done), the gas that it cost me to get there and back, etc. Additionally, she did not have any explanation for why I received a perfect full circle report, when clearly there is something else wrong that is bad enough to have a check engine light on. Long story short, they finally fixed my car, I wrote an email to the manager Keith on January 15, I have yet to hear back from him. No compensation for my time or gas was offered. My bill was in fact larger than what was quoted with no apology. Never coming here again not only because of the bad customer service but the lack of care for the manager to even attempt a response.Thank you for alerting us to this issue, Jennifer. Our top priority is delivering 100% customer satisfaction and it's concerning to hear you feel your experience does not reflect that. Simple experiences are the best!

I do believe they need some more parking space for customers but its… Houston and space is limited to what can you do!! The people were really nice- Charles was great!
