by itinerum on 10/06/2015Upon arrival at Jeff Haas I made it clear to the salesman I had shopped other Mazda dealerships in the Houston area for a 2015 Mazda 3 sGrand Touring hatchback. Immediately, the salesman began speaking negatively about competing… dealerships and what he referred to as "questionable practices". While his experience with other dealerships may be that, I do not see how you build up your business by breaking down others. I had previously received buy bids for my trade between 28,500 and 29,500. Jeff Haas only offered me $27,000 and was not willing to negotiate from that price. I thanked them for their time and immediately drove to another Mazda dealership who valued my trade at $29,000, ultimately giving me $29,500 after some negation. They even beat Jeff Haas proposed discount on the new Mazda 3 by an additional $500 as well as provided tax savings. But to top it off, not once did they speak negatively about another dealer after making it known I had shopped around. They simply provided customer service and showed me that they were willing to earn my business. While my experience may not be the same as yours, I felt it necessary to share. by GWTWLady on 08/20/2015The service center at Jeff Haas has always been excellent. My Service Rep, Todd Troublefield greeted me in a prompt and friendly manner and made me feel welcomed. He explained the work that would be completed and estimated the completion… time. The waiting area was comfortable. The WiFi enabled me to complete work while I was there, so my waiting time was not wasted. The service was completed earlier than promised and I received a washed car, which saved me from having to spend additional time having that done. I appreciate the quality of service provided and the friendly, helpful staff! While I could go to a dealership closer to my home, I am confident in the service provided at Jeff Hass and prefer driving a few extra miles for the quality of the work and the professionalism of the staff! Thanks again, Todd, for making me feel like my business is important to you.Feel like family rather than "salesmen"

He was very nice and came and greated my wife and I when we drove into the dealership parking lot(she will not go to a dealer if they don't come out to great you). I did not buy it on my first… visit. I was impressed that he sent me an email asking if I had questions and he answered them all very fast. He did not try to "sell" me the most expensive car but seemed to care about what I wanted and my budget. Everyone seemed like a family and I was a member when I was there. They even took my rental back for me so I could drive my new car home!Thank you for the review, Austin! We're so pleased to hear you and your wife enjoyed your new car buying experience. I drove 180 miles to finalise the transaction and the trip was worthhile. by jakeatdrums on 12/12/2014This dealership is about an hour from where I live but they had a car I was interested in so I called them up. I told their sales person that I wanted to make a trade and had paperwork for what Car Max would give me for the trade and pay… cash for the rest. I explained that the only way I would make the trip to the dealership for a test drive was if they could match the trade value and meet my strict cash budget out the door. They said that they would make it happen at the price I offered. I took 3 hours off of work to pick up my wife and newborn baby so we could go check it out and see how the car seat fit etc. When we got there the first thing I noticed was that they had swapped out the nice alloy rims in the pictures online for cheap plastic hub caps which they denied doing until I showed them the pictures on my phone. They claimed that the rims were bent and unsafe so they did it as an upgrade...haha. Then, after the test drive they said they would match the trade value but still gave me a price that was $1,500 higher than what was agreed upon on the phone. When I explained that I had already talked price with their sales person on the phone they didn't seem to care and wouldn't budge on the price. I'm sure they have the phone conversation recorded but it seems like they just lied to me to get me there and talk me into paying more/financing etc. This was a huge waste of my family's time. These people are not honest and do not honor what they say they will give you. This all makes me think other shady things are happening there. Save your valuable time and money and go somewhere else.Prompt Saturday Service

This is my third Mazda that I have bought from them and I always, always use… their service department, nobody else! My cars have always run safely and well because I keep them maintained according to Alan's advice. The whole service department delivers what they promise. I was beginning to get frustrated by unnecessary dealer addons and by the whole car-buying process. So it was a genuine relief… when I visited Jeff Haas Mazda, met Albert Bledsoe, and tested the Mazda 3i Touring, which I ended up buying. Everyone at the dealership was courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and treated me with respect. That matters a LOT to me. And to top it off, I got a great deal on my trade-in and on my new car.Mazda CX-7 - Great experience with Mohammed!
by erg1228 on 10/26/2010We went in to Jeff Haas on a Friday night - Mohammed Rahhal approached us, but was so low-key. He let us test drive and then let us leave, all without hasseling us. We went back on Saturday and test drove again, and brought in my car for… trade in. Mohammed researched the cars on the lot based on what we told him we were looking for, and he was very patient with me as I changed my mind several times (more patient than my own fiance!). He worked very hard to get us a good deal on the trade. We closed the deal that Sat. evening - I had a new car in a 24 hour window! Mohammed was also fantastic in getting the CX-7 back in the next week to have the seats re-done in leather, and he made sure that we had a loaner car to drive while that was being done. Overall, it was an easy experience, not your typical car buying headache and Mohammed was great. I wish all car salesmen were this easy to work with!My Mazda5 is wonderful!
by janetw2 on 10/25/2010I poured over reviews, literature, and postings for three weeks. I test drove at least a dozen cars and had narrowed it down to 2 vehicle choices. Larry Bennett found the Mazda 5 with the accessories I wanted and came in at the price… which closed the deal. During the test drive, he answered all my questions which tipped the scale to the Mazda Brand. When I picked up the car all operating details were fully explained, so I have not yet had to refer to the owners manuel for any solutions. I am very satisfied with my purchase.Recent CX7 purchase

Phil was the one who greeting us. What we want is we got more information for me to… think. We felt that we were well informed without feeling being pushed. We were offered also for the test drive and we did not feel any commitmnent rather than knowing more the performance of the car. As as customer we want to feel sure about our choice and we felt well informed withouht any feeling of being pushed. Same also when it came to the pricing. We are quite happy with our choice Mazda 3.
