    I'm so upset. I have been trying to get my car fixed for over 2 weeks now. I took my car to their service department, told them exactly what the issue was. They were supposed to order the parts and I was going to drop my vehicle back off to them once the parts arrived. I then received a call letting me know that they were not going to order the parts because they were going to do an update instead. I told them that would not fix my issue but was willing to give it a try. I dropped my car back off to them picked it up next day there was scratches on my driver door like someone had keyed my vehicle i was told be the service adviser Gonzalez- that they were not responsible because he has the area marked on his paper. I know for a fact that those marks were not on my vehicle at the time of drop off. Also my speaker is still rattling and making noise and my Bluetooth is still not working properly. This is a 2016 Honda that I just bought. I have asked to speak with the Service director 4 times and instead I keep getting put on hold or told he is unavailable. I have never received such horrible customer service in my life. I will be calling the BBB and whoever else I can call about Russell and Smith Service department and how I am being treated. They make sure and take you money if anything else but don't do what is right. The the problems that I brought my vehicle in for is still an issue plus now my vehicle has key markings on the door and expect me to pay them to fix that!!!!

    I recently went to Russell & Smith Honda Dealership Monday to make a police report because my airbags, hood cap on my rim and a piece on my shift gear was stolen out of my vehicle last Monday. My vehicle was vandalized six months ago someone in my apartment complex keyed my vehicle, dented my bumper and also missed up my engine. I made a police report about the incident that occurred to my vehicle and made a report to my insurance company. After I made report with my insurance company I had my vehicle towed to Russell & Smith Honda Auto Collision. Russell and Smith Auto Collision gave me and my insurance company a quote on my vehicle, and the insurance company said they will pay for the damages on my vehicle. Russell & Smith Auto Collision had my vehicle towed to Russell & Smith Honda dealership to get my engine fixed first. Russell & Smith dealership quoted me 11,000 to get my engine fixed. A month later my insurance company called me and said they will not cover my engine only the body work. So I have been going through a legal battle with the insurance company about my engine. Long story short I find a body shop that would charge me a cheaper price to put my engine in my car. I paid out of pocket to get my engine fixed. I had my tow truck driver to come and pick up my vehicle at Russell and Smith honda dealership and he noticed my airbags fog light and hood cap on my rim was missing. I contact Russell & Smith Honda Dealership about my situation and I just got the runaround from the manager Desiree Abbott-Burba. I made a police report the same day. The next day Desiree-Abbott-Burba contacts me and tells me she would replace my airbags and the other missing objects that were taking off of my vehicle. So I go to Russell & Smith Honda Dealership and the other manager Alvin Blaker said he would replace them but he would not replace the other objects that was missing on my vehicle. He also was very rude, unprofessional, and combative about the situation. So I asked why would he only fixed half of the damages that they did to my vehicle and he said he does not know if his people did the damages to the fog light, hood cap of my rim or the shift gear piece. I told him I would have the police come by and speak with him and collect the video of the property. Alvin Blaker went completely crazy and told me he would not fix anything on my car and told me to leave his office. So if anybody went to Russell & Smith Honda Dealership to get their airbags replace on their vehicle because of the recall on Honda’s airbags you probably has my used airbags. Russell & Smith Honda Dealership stole my airbags and put them in someone else vehicle.

    I called this dealer about a new Honda Accord Coupe which they had in inventory. The internet sales rep, Eduardo Cabezas, provided an email quote showing the MSRP for the 2015 model with details of options, prices and "Drive Out Total" of $30,320.49. Eduardo sent pictures of the car and the window sticker with the specs, VIN number, etc. I had read reviews that this dealership had a reputation for low balling customers. Therefore, before driving from Austin to Houston to purchase and pick up this car, I requested a detailed sales contract with the price we had agreed to. Instead I received a revised quote of $32,275.60 or $1955.11 more than the original, written quote. This revised, increased quote showed the same first line with the model year and MSRP as the original quote. Eduardo's excuse for the increase was that the sales manager had incorrectly priced a 2014 model instead of the 2015 model. I believe that this was a lie as both quotes have the correct 2015 MSRP. Furthermore, since the model with a manual transmission is rare and there are only a few 2015 models in the entire state of Texas, both Eduardo and the sales manager had to be well aware that they were not pricing a 2014 model. Finally, there has been no change in the 2015 model from the 2014 version. Honda's MSRP increase for the 2015 version is $150, not the $1955.11 increase in the second quote.

    I had transmission replaced at dealership. They did horrible job. All the years I had this Honda I was not loosing engine oil. After replacing transmission, less than 200 miles of driving, I had lost 2 quart and leaking from main seal. They had damaged the seal. Same story with Radiator, must have damage the neck of radiator and less than 100 miles after transmission service I had to replace radiator. transmission they put supposed to have come from factory but had problem from day one changing gears at very high Rev. I took back twice but told everything is fine. I have replace transmission again. They only give 12/12000 warranty vs Factory transmission come with 36/36000 warranty. they are cheating customer and also does very bad job making customer to pay lot lot more than they have to. Better go somewhere else than wasting time money and causing lot more headache.

    We have finally found our go-to Honda dealership in Houston, and it's Russell & Smith Honda. From the first time we received a quote by email, to the time we drove off of the lot in our new CRV, the folks at R&S Honda went out of their way to make this transaction the easiest, friendliest, most honest car buying experience ever. We dealt with Tom in the Internet sales department, who quoted the best price by far of any competing dealer, plus he did not try to sneakily add on anything or hide any costs like the salesmen at the other dealerships we contacted. Tom was helpful in coordinating our Cash-For-Clunkers trade-in and worked with our bank so we were able to handle 100% of the paperwork over the phone and internet. Andy talked to us about extended warranties but did not apply any pressure after we explained that we were buying an extended warranty through our insurance carrier. We walked into the dealer for the first time on a Saturday morning, and drove out less than an hour later, after Tom went over all the features of the new car. After walking out of two other Honda dealerships who were less than honest, I was absolutely thrilled to discover one who knows how to treat people. Our experience at Russell & Smith Honda is what the car buying experience should be for everyone. No hassle. No BS. No pressure. No bait-and-switch. No upselling. No overpriced dealer ad-ons. Just courteous, professional people who want you to have the best car buying experience ever. Now that's what I'm talkin' about!

    I have been hunting for a good deal for a 09 Honda Odyssey for several months now, monitoring pricing and incentives to find the best time to buy. As Honda came to their fiscal year end at the end of March '09, I figured this was the best time to buy and still have a selection (unlike @ model year end where all that's left is the white vans and those loaded down with too may options and dealer adds). I figured Honda was generally overstocked due to the current economy, and this was the time to buy. After getting quotes and visiting about 6 other dealerships in town, I had not even come close to the pricing I had seen other consumers getting on the Edmund's Forums, leaving me to believe that the dealers here in Houston were just not as aggressive with pricing as elsewhere in the nation. Then I saw a post from another Odyssey buyer on the Edmund's Forums that had a decent deal from Russell & Smith. It's a pretty good drive from my house, but I figured, what the heck. I contacted the online salesman and talked with him for a while. He came across as a real straight shooter in comparison with several of the other Honda dealer salesmen I had dealt with over the past 3 months. Driving down to the dealership, I arrived around 7:30pm after work. He had my trade-in appraised by 8:00pm and an offer on the table by 8:15pm. To my surprise, his offer was only $600 off of my target price for the deal. The closest any of the other 6 dealers I visited in town was about $1,200 more than what I was looking to pay. I offered to split the difference, his manager agreed, and I drove home in the van that night. It was late, so I came back with my wife the next afternoon to finish up the paperwork. Everything was straight forward, with no games or B.S. in the finance office. Very professional and no trickery to speak of. Then, my salesman did his own vehicle delivery (not as common at many dealerships), and it was second to none - very thorough and informative. I don't know if the forum rules allow me to post the salesman's name, but if so, his name is James B. or "Jim". I will definitely put Russel & Smith at the top of my list next time I am shopping for a Honda in Houston.

    Great dealer. The salesmen were very friendly and helpful. I got a price from them through e-mail and they honored it no problem. They gave me the best price in town ( called all the other dealers and no one could match it) and they were very laid back and no high-pressure techniques. I went in to test drive some cars, they quoted me some prices, I went home and thought about it and I came back to next day to buy my new car. The whole process was great and I would definitely buy a car from them again.

    The first car I bought from R&S was a used Accord for my daughter. Great car, great sales, great service. We've been back many times for both used and new cars. Have had nothing but excellent experiences with them for sales (new and used), service, and body work.

    Good advice in addition to great service. HondaCare warranty is amazing - for the few times that one actually needs it. I have had many cars serviced at R&S and am extremely happy.

    Recently purchased a 2009 Honda Pilot from Russell & Smith. Experience was very easy and pleasant. They agreed to beat the offer I had from another local dealer and didn't try to back out of that agreement when I arrived. Easiest car buying experience that I've ever had.

    Dung L. made my car buying experience absolutely fantastic. From the transparency that he provided at the beginning of my search process to the way he comfortably juggled no less than five customers on the night that I arrived to complete my purchase, Dung exceeded my expectations in every aspect. To provide context, I had been warned via phone and email by other dealerships of the shenanigans that I would encounter when making a purchase from Russell & Smith. For example, the following are direct copies of statements that I received via email: Gillman Honda of West Sam Houston Pkwy S: "I just spoke with my General Manager. We want to earn your business sir but we do not know how Russel & Smith are getting to that price since there is no more Honda Flex cash left in Houston at any of the dealers. I hope they are not trying to play games with you to lure you in." Honda of Clear Lake: "I understand that you are trying to get the best price out there. Unfortunately some dealerships send out quotes that don't include all of the costs associated with the vehicle. The price I sent is actual dealer net on the vehicle. I have a lot of customers that end up going to the other dealerships only to see the price go up when they get there. If you end up going to Russel and Smith and the price goes up, I would really appreciate you coming and dealing with me." What is really funny is that while I did tell other dealerships the price that I had been offered from Russell & Smith, I never mentioned the actual dealership making the offer. The other dealerships apparently knew of Russell Smith's "devious tactics". Needless to say, my guard was up when I arrived to Russell & Smith, and I was ready to walk out if I encountered any questionable behavior. Fortunately, I had a great experience. I kept waiting for Dung to apply pressure or attempt to change the terms that we had previously discussed. Yet, he was very straight-forward and professional, and if anything, I probably seemed a bit paranoid as I waited for him to mislead me. Sorry, Dung :-). In short, Dung L. made my purchase process incredibly smooth, and I can only hope that I will be able to deal with him again the next time I need to make a purchase. Thank you, Russell & Smith Honda.

    This was me and my husband's first time purchasing our vehicle from a dealership without a cosigner and Ray L. made this experience the best one.     I bought a 2014 Accord and I found an small dent in a plastic piece (behind front passenger seat), I call my seller and he says "Scratches on the interior are not considered manufacturer defect" and he sent me to call a company to fix it. Really??? a $31,000 car and they can't fix a small defective, mmmmmmmm

    I have been searching for Honda Odyssey 2012 EX-L for one month, finally settled with Russell and Smith, many other Honda dealer's internet sales manager tried to lure me in with low quote price, then when I arrived on the spot, they started jacking up the price with all the hidden dealers adds. Jon M. was very open and straightforward with me. He gave me the best quote to start with, no hidden accessary, and he was willing to negotiate. We reached the deal in the 24 hour and my 1st visit was just to pay and get the car. Very pleasant experience !

    Sales rep gave reasonable deals and was very friendly. However the financing guy Darrll P. was not friendly and patient. Tried to sell a Honda Care to me which I didn't take at the same time of car purchasing. When went back there in a week to make a purchase, he was not nice and bumped up price for another $50. I asked to talk with manager and asked for a different person to handle my purchase, then he bumped the price for another $100! Ended up purchased Honda Care from somewhere else but felt wasted my time there!
