  • Tom Peacock Nissan- Where Loyalty Matters

5 out of 5 starsby Antonice on 03/09/2016

The whole staff- Luis, Bob, Gary, Calvin, and Steve took care of me during a difficult time. My husband had passed away and I needed to trade in a car. They treated me like family. This was my 3 vehicle with Peacock and I will never go anywhere else. Loyalty is a two way street with Luis, Bob, Calvin, Gary, and Steve.

  • Worse dealership ever

    1 out of 5 starsby Salman786 on 01/15/2016

They are the worse Nissan dealership ever. They lie and cheat to their customers. I have email evidences to prove it. I was in touch with Bianca Caro throughout over the phone as well as through emails, hence the email evidences. I was seriously interested in buying in 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. I live in Richmond, TX and Tom Peacock Nissan dealership is almost an hour long drive for me. I was clearly told and promised that they have all the colors in this trim including Arctic Blue and Pearl White colors. I have proof in my emails. They promised me that they will come close to the price that I am aiming for. They infact gave me a price over the phone. I dealt with Bianca throughout this deal. Her emails were convincing and she clearly told me that they have all the colors and I just have come choose the one that I want. In addition, she promised that the sales manager have agreed to the price I want for any color I choose. I went there all the way with cash, check book and also ready to finance the car. To my surprise they only had white color which was exactly the color I didn't want. As far as the price goes they were way more expensive than other dealers and not willing to negotiate, let alone the price that I was promised beforehand. I called 3 times and confirmed the price negotiation and colors; however, these were all lies and a way to get me to enter their dealership. At the dealership they wasted almost another hour and half of my time. In fact the sales manager didn't even know where the Pathfinders were parked so they made me walk with them from one end of the lot to another end. I talked to 3 individuals while I was in there. Each of them did a better job than others to disappoint me and lie to me. Especially Bianca Caro (I have emails from her). She was [non-permissible content removed]. I strong recommend not to ever consider Tom Peacock as your NIssan dealership.

Good deal on car. I really like the waiting area. Nice customer service. Wouldn't mind making future vehicle purchases with Tom Peacock in the future.
  • Bait and Switch Dealership

    2 out of 5 starsby jacky_o44 on 11/01/2015

Though Sales Rep was friendly and did not try pressure tactics, he claimed to know nothing of prices for 2015 Pathfinder I was interested in. I informed sales rep of the prices this dealership had on line but he provided some shady excuse telling me that the price was for a S and not a SL. This was BS because the price on line clearly showed the price for the SL. I was not informed of the price of the vehicle until hours later when I was taken to an office at the back of the show room. I wanted the process to be over after so many hours that I went ahead and completed the transaction all the while thinking that these are some dishonorable characters. They came back with a price about $2000 over the on line advertised price. They tried to claim that this was the cost of taxes etc. but the sales person had told me that these costs were already in the price I saw on line. This is a clear case of bait and switch.

Very helpful, spent a few hours on deciding what I wanted to drive off in and thankfully with my helpful sales rep Sergio Portillo I was able to accomplish that.
  • 2015 Nissan Altima Purchase

    5 out of 5 starsby Vicky2015 on 07/21/2015

My sales person, Kourtney was great. She allowed me to tell her what "I" wanted and not what she wanted to sell me. That is a HUGE factor for me to be a return customer as well as refer family and friends to your dealership. After establishing which vehicle I was interested in, we then began negotiating my purchase and came to an agreement which I was pleased with.
  • This dealership sucks!!

These guys need to be shut down! they have no class. We had a terrible terrible experience here....Deseption, dishonesty is what is taught here since it is from top management to the bottom sales person!! Wake up Owners!! see what your dealership has become!

  • Wow

    1 out of 5 starsby fasst95 on 05/14/2010

I located a used Maxima on their website and after speaking with a person who identified themselves as a female last named Mooney I was told that the vehicle was there and they wanted to schedule a test drive. I loaded up my baby in my wifes vehicle and drove my trade in down to the delership almost forty minutes away with my wife and child following only to find that the vehicle wasnt there and someone else had used the Mooney persons name and the person they told us to ask for wasnt even in town and neither was Mooney. We located another vehicle on their lot which was advertised for 17995.00 on their website and after going through the motions the [violative content deleted] tried to finance the car for 24995.00 a full seven grand over the internet advertised price. All in all a horrible expirience so unless you like being treated like a moron by their [violative content deleted] and ripped off I would not visit this dealership. I guess I should have taken note that I was the only customer in the place. I dont know how these [violative content deleted] stay in business everyone I have ever spoken with says that Peacock is not the place to go unless u like wasting time and getting screwed.
  • False advertising and deceitful sales force

1 out of 5 starsby donpadia on 02/18/2010

We found this company's advert during an internet search. We called the number on the webpage listed as "internet sales" and reached a salesperson who stated they had two Versas that met our specifications and they were on sale at a price lower than the one advertised. We called twice after that, because this dealer is located about 35 miles from our home and we wanted to make sure they had the cars before driving there. We even made one of the the phone calls directly to the switchboard since the number listed on the page had no answer. When we arrived at the dealership, there not only did they not have any cars like the ones advertised online, they also told us the number online was in the hands of a "disgruntled employee" and that they were "working" on cleaning up their site ( although we did call the dealer directly as well) The sales person was rude, and attempted openly to sell us a new vehicle. We wasted our time, gas and would advise everybody not to bother to drive to this dealership. They should be reported to the authorities for false advertising, no serious company would dare do this and stay in business.
    • Took my Versa in to Tom Peacock for an oil change & snd warranty work, I had a coupon allowing $10 discount on oil change. Left keys and coupon on dashboard of car. Wife picked up car. Noticed that no discount was given for oil change. Had to take car back in after waiting on parts and tried to get Keisha Davis to adjust bill. She acted like I was trying to steal $10 and told me I was out of luck. $10 is not much money but it seems to me they she could have taken care of this matter without making a federal case out of it. In the last 3 years my family has bought 3 new Nissans from Tom Peacock and used the body shop to the tune of $5500. I find it hard to believe that they would alienate me over $10.

  • DISAPPOINTING

    1.3 out of 5 starsby fictionp2z on 08/11/2009

This was my first car purchase ever. The salesman and I negotiated on the price for a Versa SL. We signed a carbon-copied contract for the approved purchase which the salesman did not give me a copy of, and when we asked for one he said he couldn't give us one because we weren't financing it through the dealership. The salesman told me and my family that the car was set, we just had to get the financing. Two days later, after getting a loan approved at a bank, and assuming I was done searching for a car, the salesman backed out of the deal, despite the contract. We spoke to a manager and he was not helpful. You'd think signing a contract seals the deal, but it's only leverage for the salesman in case they don't get a better offer. It was truly a waste of time in every sense of the phrase.
  • GREAT EXPERIENCE

    5 out of 5 starsby 2009sentra on 08/04/2009

I worked with Steve Hipshin through the internet sales department. We did all our correspondence through email. When I went to pick up my car the transaction was fast and smooth. This was my first new car buying experience I couldn't have asked for a better one. I will recommend everyone there. By the way I drove three and a half hours and would do it again.
  • Highly Impressed

    5 out of 5 starsby rlw06 on 05/08/2009

I have never had a better car-buying experience! We were ready to give up the search for a new car due to horrible treatment at other dealerships when we were contacted by the Internet Sales Director at Tom Peacock Nissan, Steve Hipshin. The very first quote he gave me was $4000 off MSRP, and he came down almost another $1,000 to beat another dealership's offer by $200. He also got me a very fair deal on my trade, so we were very satisfied customers. All matters were handled by email, and he promptly answered every message. When I asked him to fax me the details of our agreement signed by the general manager before I came into the dealership he got it sent to me the same day. Steve was extremely helpful and never pushy or unprofessional. The whole process was smoothe and pleasant from first email to driving off the lot. When he realized the exact car I wanted wasn't on his lot he said it wasn't a problem and he'd get it for me within 24 hours and even gave me a very similar car off his lot to drive for 2 days. Fantastic customer service! To say Steve went above and beyond is an understatment. Now that's how you do business and get repeat customers and their referrals. I highly recommend him. On another note, even the Finance Manager, Jose Delgado, was a pleasure to deal with. They knew we were pre-approved by our credit union but offered us a slightly lower rate and weren't pushy when we declined to finance through the dealership. Jose was personable and professional and got us signed and on our way very quickly. We are so impressed and would definitely do business with Tom Peacock Nissan in the future.
    • Just 3 days earlier, "rlw06" wrote a scathing review of another Houston Nissan dealership. They complained about not being able to test drive a vehicle with Navigation and the low trade in offer on their "imaculate 2 year old Mustang GT". In this gushing review, there was no mention of needing to test drive a vehicle with Navigation nor the trade-in process of their Mustang. This review is highly suspect. It does not pass the "stink test".

  • Buyer beware

2 out of 5 starsby zachism on 03/22/2009

I waited over 30 minutes to see a salesman so i could test drive a used car I wanted to buy there. Finally, after waiting, the salesman tells me I can't test drive the car I waited 30 minutes to see. He said he was the internet sales manager and that the car was a cash car because no one would give me financing. Sadly, even though I told him twice, he did not care that I had already been approved for a loan on that exact car. He was very UNfriendly and an [violative content deleted] about it, even though I was being as nice as possible I will never go back to Tom Peacock. They are the reason car dealerships have bad stereotypes. Also- all the good reviews you see online- they are written BY THE SALESMAN!!! don't fall for there grade school bullying and lieing. Go elsewhere
  • Internet Sales Manager

    5 out of 5 starsby mpg3 on 07/03/2008

This internet sales manager, Steve, went above and beyond to assist me in finding the right car. I would highly recommend that if you are doing internet research, etc., contact Steve at this dealership. When the point was reached that they could go no lower on the price, he let me know that, as well. The end price was about 500 more than the lowest. All contacts were personable and professional. I will seek him out for future car deals.
  • Fantastic Dealership

    5 out of 5 starsby let56 on 04/24/2008

I had been looking at different vehicles for about 6 months when I finally found one that was the BEST I have ever found. Talk to Steve Hipshin, the Internet/Fleet Manager-he is fantastic. No games, everything was exactly as discussed prior to getting my Murano. I dealt with him first through email and told him exactly what I wanted, and he came through as promised. Highly recommend them and will refer anyone who is looking for a Nissan to them.
