by Daveman_69 on 07/24/2014Overall.....Greatness! Good deal on a great car.Excellent Salesmanship
by Hellomynameis on 07/24/2014The salesman, who I was working with in purchasing my vehicle, was very informative of the Nissan Altima. He was very helpful, and continues to answer all my questions. The finance office was very courteous, and offered me a better deal… than what my bank approved. I will continue to do business with them.Best Dealership Eeeeeeeever!!!!!!!
by kfree1 on 07/24/2014From the moment I walked in the door at Trophy Nissan I felt like I was in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. There was zero pressure from anyone. I was able to move freely without being bombarded by sales people. I found that everyone I… met and dealt with at Trophy Nissan was very genuine and super nice and accommodating! This was by far the most awesome car buying experience I have ever had! If you are in the market for a new automobile I highly suggest you go see Trophy Nissan! I will be buying my future vehicles from them!Fake dealer add ons, Fake markups, false advertising
by ghuber on 05/26/2010If you see any car ad from Trophy Nissan, ignore it. They WILL NOT sell you any car at the ad price. They lower the price by $2000-$3000, but when you get there you find out they add $3000 of things like "clear coat, safety package, etc."… They even put on TWO delivery charges! They lie, and they know it. Tried to get the paper they had written for an offer, they ripped it out of my hands and would not allow me to have a copy! I told mark Miller, the top new car manager that I would be reporting him to the BBB, he just srugged his shoulders. Come to find out they've been reported many times. In fact, an ex employee of their's said the dealership encourages employees to go out and write fake positive reviews! The service team at Trophy Nissan were wonderful
by shirleyj2 on 05/20/2010The service team at Trophy Nissan were wonderful. I was very stressed about my car not being in working order and they made me feel comfortable the moment I got out of my car. I was greeted by Danny Slatinsky who was very friendly and… helpful through the whole process of dropping off my car to keeping me updated on what was going on. He also informed me about your oil change services where I will LOYALLY now be dropping my car in whenever its time. I would also like to comment on your shuttle service that got me to work on a very stressful Monday morning. It was GREAT, I got to work in a timely manner and was driven by Nars who was also very friendly, helpful and even found me a new shortcut! Thank you to the Trophy Nissan Service Team.Worst car buying experience!!
by mnk08 on 05/04/2010I called and spoke with the internet sales manager, and was told a car was available. I pick up my husband and inlaws to go buy the car. When i get there the manager is not available, so i am assigned a sales person. He evaluates everything… i could possibly want in a car, and i told him, i would like to look at the car first before discussing other options. He told me they have cars in all parts of the dealership, so its easier if they know all my options to pull up several for me to view. after 40 mins of reviewing my options and trying to get me financing, which i turned down, we went to look at some cars. The sales person told me the car i wanted was sold 5 mins ago, and would show me other options. Really? I was here for 40 mins, and it didnt occur to you to tell me that? I was looking for an Infiniti and the sales person preceeded to show me a Chevy Impala, and told me they are comparable. Really?? He told me all cars are the same, just brand names are different. Hmm...if thats the case a porsche and a corolla should be the same thing. Then the sales person got deffensive and told me i couldnt find an infiniti in the price range i mentioned. Hmmm then why did i go there to buy the one they had? The sales person told me, the price which is posted online is at cost, and it doesnt include services Trophy Nissan has done on it. So all cars look cheaper online, but they add on charges when you get to the dealership. Hmm False Advertising anyone!! The most rude, and worst customer service experience i have ever encountered. If you are looking to buy a car, try another dealership.A+!!
by sasha11 on 12/10/2009I dragged my husband with me on my last car buying trip and he left with a new car of his own!! We were helped by Dan Boleneus, the guy with funny last name, and he is great! He was honest and very forthcoming with information. He… didn't "feel" like a car salesman. What I mean is that he isn't pushy or condescending at all. He's just a normal guy who obviously loves selling cars and helping people. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I will be buying all future cars through him.Identity Theft, BBB rating of "F"
by gabriel5 on 10/09/2009I recently went to Trophy to buy another vehicle after I was involved in a total loss as a result of an ice storm. I did not qualify for a loan through trophy so the sales person Alex Pezeshki begins to try and talk me into getting a family… member to co-sign the loan. I informed him that I was unable to unless I asked first. He disregarded this statement because he began to run my mothers credit. My mother had more than 15 inquiries on her credit because of Trophy Nissan and the actions of Alex Pezeshki. I immediately contacted Trophy Nissan and told them about this and no one seemed to care. They actually tried to talk me into still doing business with them, it was almost comedic. My mother currently has a pending case with the Attorney Generals office regarding this matter. Trophy has never apologized or shown any accountabilities for their actions. They initially refused to give me back the money I had put down for the vehicle and I had to contact an attorney just to get that back. When I went in to pick it up my check after an entire month they were very rude and acted like they could care less. The Sales people had prison tattoos and looked like it was their first job out. On one occasion when I called to speak with a manager, they refused to put the manager on the phone and Alex Pezeshki(Sales Person) begins to act like he's the manager claiming to be Jerry Smith. Everyone in my office was laughing hystarically. So I go up to the dealership and I speak with Jerry and asked him if he was the person I spoke with the day before and he says "no," I tell him what happened and then he says I'm sorry I will take care of it and begins to act like he is calling Alex and telling him off. Please realize, all of this happened to me, and all I was trying to do was give this dealership an opporutnity to earn my business. WARNING!!!! They will run credit without authorization. This does affect your credit score, they did this to my family and we still don't know how they obtained their personal information.buying my new titan
by bgw1 on 09/28/2009I just bought a new 09 titan and the sales team was great. It was a hard deal to do because i was so upside down on my trade in, but some how with hard work of the sales team and the fiance team they made it happen. So anybody lookong for a… new nissan should give Trophey a try you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. The most annoying dealer I ever met, spoken and dealt with
by lance_l on 05/18/2009I went to this dealer both New and Preowned center, and I was treated horribly. We haven't even look at the car on the lot yet, and they already ask to check our credits over and over again. At one point, I was asking for a carfax of an 09… Preowned Nissan Sentra, they gave us a carfax of a Chevy??!!! Plus, they claimed that every single preowned vehicles on their lot is no-accident guaranteed, but I found SEVERAL vehicles with traces of both minor and major accident. On another occasion, we showed up at the New Car lot to see some new car, and again, they kept asking us for credit check!!! What worse is that they have us sitting out in a tent to do business (90s degree outside that afternoon)!!!Never Again
by r_bonchic on 03/09/2009I have purchased 5 used cars from Trophy Nissan over the past 20 years and my recent experience was absolutely rediculous. My car was at another shop and I was in a rental, so I stopped by to see what they had to offer in the event I… wanted to trade. They sat me in a room and asked me what kind of car I was interested in. I wasn't feeling great and just wanted to browse what they had. They don't do that. There are no sticker prices on the cars, nothing to browse. It's a hit and miss kind of system. I would suggest a type of car and they would go look for 30 minutes and come back with or without that model. This process was long and tiresome. I asked about a PT Cruiser and they had 2. I was about to test drive the second one and they said they just sold it. I went ahead and decided to buy the one I had driven. However, when they brought it to me to test drive the interior it was filthy! The spare tire was in the trunk and had to be put back underneath where it belonged. A few months ago I needed to tighten the nut and needed the jack and it was missing! I was really amazed that they would let someone test drive a vehicle someone might be considering for purchase when it hadn't even been cleaned yet. Which brings up the question of when did they do the 29 point inspection? The price haggling started for 3 more hours. I told them I didn't feel well and really wanted to hurry up the process and they just kept going. A few months later the air conditioner went out on it and I took it a Dodge dealership because I had purchased a warranty. They told me my car had been wrecked previously and had undercarriage damage AND was missing one of the splash guards. They could not repair the air conditioner because it had squished up some of the connections to get to the condensor. I finally got all the repairs done at the Trophy Collision dept and it has been back now 4 times.Buy with Caution
by hphyslp on 03/19/2008We recently purchased our new Nissan Rogue from Trophy and I can say without hesitation it has been a headache since day one. We made our purchase over a month ago, and they still haven't gotten things right. First we did not have our… checkbook to make the full downpayment and so returned the same evening we bought the vehicle to bring our personal check (a 25 minute drive). They then called saying they lost the check and we had to call our bank to put a stop on it. Three days later, they found the check again and mailed it to us. Next, because they did not have the exact vehicle on the lot we wanted (fully loaded), they arranged to have alterations done/added to make it fully loaded. We were promised all items would be scheduled at the same time to avoid a long drive from downtown Dallas.... wrong. We had to make 2 trips to get what we were promised added. That's not counting the trips we had to subsequently make due to their mistakes. The second trip was for the addition of the sunroof. When we went to pick the car up after that, we noticed they had scratched the paint and we had to bring the car back again to have them repaint. We got a call from customer service saying they would need to keep the car at least another 2-3 days because their first attempt at repainting went wrong. We thought after the paint job we finally had the car we wanted (mind you this is 3.5 weeks after buying the thing.... but NO... then the sunroof starting leaking with the rain. Right now the car is back there AGAIN waiting for the sunroof to be repaired. We are fed up! We were given the impression things would be great, that they could give us just what we needed. I wouldn't trust these guys with my worst enemy. Buy with CAUTION... don't be pressured in to buying something you don't want. MOST OF ALL don't let them talk you in to having a sunroof added. They'll tell you anything to get you to buy!!!!! GET IT IN WRITING!!!!!!!!!!!!Old school lying, thieving dealership
by texdave on 06/05/2011updated 04/26/2025If you want the most HIDEOUS experience possible buying a car, then Trophy Nissan is for you! Right out of the 1970's, unbelievable. We drove from Euless with an internet print out of a car in stock to buy a car. We were told it was in… stock, we called 2 minutes before we landed at the dealer. We were rushed in to an office by a young guy who seemed very nice and we sat down. We asked to see the car. He proceeded to take our information ( name, address, number etc) O.K. no problem. We just turned in a lease car and we are preapproved with our credit union. Great credit, money down, solid citizens. He asked to fill out a credit app and get pre-approved. DO NOT DO THIS, every credit inquiry on your bureau lowers your credit score and it looks bad when you are ready to buy ( why has he gone to so many dealers?) He asked us what payment we wanted, how much money down, were we ready to buy today. We asked him, Can we see the car? He did not listen to anything we said, just continued with his spiel. I think they are programmed to follow a set script. We refused to answer anymore questions until we saw the car. He got the manager who started questions about, what payment do we want? We asked CAN WE SEE THE CAR? He said we should do the credit because "we don't want to waste your time or ours" 3 things for aspiring car salesman. If a customer drives 30 miles with a printout from the internet, they are buyers. If a customer has turned in a lease car, they probably have decent credit. If a customer says that he is preapproved from their credit union, they are probably buyers. We asked the sales manager, can we see the car. He didn't listen to us and continued talking in car salesman lingo. We got up and left with 5 or 6 following us. WE NEVER SAW THE CAR OR WERE OFFERED TO SEE ANY CARS. Don't waste their time or yours. Do not go to this dealer.Terrific sales experience
by dealerombuds on 04/04/2014updated 04/26/2025I don't really "enjoy" the car buying experience because of the relative uncertainty of what I am getting into with any given store. What a refreshing breath of fresh air Trophy Nissan was for me. I stopped in and looked at a new Altima and… was greeted by a great sales person (Nick) who was not pushy but ready to take things at MY pace (wow!). He told me about the safety and economy of the vehicle, something the last sales person did NOT do! We took the car for a drive and before you know it I was able to get agreeable terms on a lease and I was on the road in my new Altima. This was an easy process and for the most part enjoyable, especially once I got past the defensive facade I put up at first and relaxed. Will definitely be back and recommend it to my friends! Will NEVER Buy from again or Recommend
by lthomas2417 on 11/03/2013updated 04/26/2025On September 14th, my fiance purchased a 2012 Nissan Versa from this dealership. We have regretted it since. When we test drove the car, we noticed some minor cosmestic issues which our salesman, David, promised would be fixed. These… issues included replacing the windshield, a broken hub cap, and repainting the back bumper due to major scratces. He told me the service department would contact me to schedule. Two weeks went by and I NEVER heard anything. I had to call and do the legwork myself for these things to be taken care of and even then, they were not taken care of completely. We were told to wait until the plates came in which was fine. During the time for the plates to come in, we started having major vibration issues with the car. Rather than drive down there, we took the car to Nissan McKinney. It was there that we discovered a broken motor mount. According to them, it had been that way for a while. At this point, we had barely owned the car for a month. It was also at this point that we discovered that we were LIED to about the coverage we had purchased for the vehicle. We left the dealership with the understanding that we had the maintenance package. Nope, we don't. It was because of this misunderstanding that we are now responsible ourselves for replacing the cabin air filter which is FILTHY and the reason we have been smelling burning smells in the cabin. The finance manager, Mike, led us to believe and even said that we would be covered for this and basic maintenance. Yeah, that was a LIE. It was at this point that we have NO faith in the car and were ready to give it back to the dealership and take our business elsewhere but we were about to be dealt another blow. After we get the car back from having the motor mount fixed, we took the car to an independent mechanic who would have no bias towards us or Trophy Nissan. We received the report back to find that not only were we LIED to about the car's maintenance records but we also now have a rear shock joint busted and leaking fluid everywhere. The mechanic was able to verify that this wasn't something that had just happened due to the amount of crusted fluid on the joint. He suspected the break had happened at least two to three months prior which would have been before we purchased the car. We already had an appointment scheduled for November 1st to have the plates put on and the cosmetic work done. The shock joint was repaired under warranty and the windshield replaced. However, when we picked the car up today, November 2nd, we did not have the plates installed, the hub cap was still cracked, the back bumper still scratched, and now there is a HUGE DENT to the front end that WAS NOT there when we brought the car in. We went across the street and talked to David about the issues not being resolved. He proceeded to get in the car with us and have us drive around the lot looking for a Versa to take the hub cap off of...which he removed with a crow bar from a car in the back lot. He also told us that despite what was PROMISED to us, the back bumper was not a big enough issue to take care of and that the dent wasn't their problem. It was basically a big eff you, we have your money and don't care now. I know that Nissan prides itself on having certified preowned vehicles that go through a rigorous check but I think with the issues we have had we can pretty much prove that YOUR dealership did not look this car over and just threw it on the lot with no regard for customer safety. Additionally, the maintenance was not up to date as David claimed it was which was proven by the independent mechanic we had look over the car. I don't want this car AT ALL but am now stuck with it because of the dealership LYING and FALSIFYING information to get the deal done. The saddest part of all was that this was the FIRST vehicle purchase ever made by my fiance and rather than being happy we are literally counting down the days until we are not upside down on the car so that we can get rid of it. He works [non-permissible content removed] so that he can provide us with nice things and that has been marred considerably by the dealership. Believe me, if we could give the car back today we would. We will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Trophy again. Honestly, I don't think we will even purchase from Nissan again at all because of this experience. Not sure how things would have gone, but they responded quickly
by skgintexas on 11/09/2011updated 04/26/2025I did not purchase here, mostly because they are the farthest from my house. I requested an internet quote only and I did get a few phone calls and texts. They seemed a little on the pushy salesperson side, but I didn't deal in person, so… can't say for sure. I did doubt they had or would have the vehicle (color, features, etc.) I was looking for if I drove all the way there. They did respond with an internet quote and of the 5 or 6 I requested, several did not. They did send a quote and deal with me some by email, and I appreciate that they honored my request in that way. I am not sure how things would have gone here - got better feelings from some other dealers, but definitely had others that were much worse - They are probably worth trying if you live closer - just make sure they do have the vehicle you are looking for in stock and know you may get a little pressure to come in right away.
About our dealership
Many local dealerships use this tactic and it's getting old. I wish people would write their local representatives and get the law changed to punish deceptive dealers like this.
