    I've been to way more dealerships in my lifetime than the average person, (I used to do dealership software installs across the country), plus we've bought and sold our fair share of vehicles and I will say Trey J. and the whole team down at DeMontrond Texas City are on my very short list of preferred dealerships anywhere in the USA (one of 5 across the country). I would definitely consider them when purchasing again and recommend them to anyone - regardless as to how far away you are from them. (They are over an hr drive from us). The whole buying experience was fantastic - extremely laid back & literally the best priced vehicle on the Internet for the specific options we were looking for. Treated as though we were buying the most expensive new car there, even though it was a mid priced used vehicle that we were interested in buying (and eventually bought). Super impressed. Stephen A.

  • Vehicle Purchase

    I was broadsided on February 24th and my Traverse was totaled. I truly believe the car saved me - it absorbed the impact. She hit me going more than 40 mph on the driver's door. The airbags and seatbelts deployed and protected me. I had purchased my Traverse from DeMontrond. I did do some looking elsewhere, but went back to DeMontrond. I am in another "Traverse". Harold Mcvay was my sales person and I couldn't have been happier. I do not like pushy people and Harold was anything but that.

    Mr Tony Victoria made our purchasing of a new car a wonderful experience. He gave use a 150%. He was very thorough. He answered all of our question. If he didn't know something, he took the time to find out. After we purchased our 2015 malibu, Tony still sent an email thanking us and reminding us that if we ever needed anything, we could call him. Anyone else would have went on to their next customer, but not Mr Victoria. He later called to ask if we were satisfied and if there was anything else we needed. He gets our vote for salesman of the year.

    I really enjoyed the level of service Chris Graves provided in making sure I got the car I wanted. I know it was tough. Sean Dunlap and Amy in financing they were all awesome with great sense of humor as. Had a lot of fun buying from them there were a few stressful moments only because of my credit issues but Amy worked so hard to get me financed and at the payment I wanted on the car I wanted. Definately recommend.

    Overall I would have to say that I have been very please with demontrond chevrolet. I went to them late one evening with my car that I purchased only two years prior and was upside down on, I didn't expect much because I knew it would be a reach to get a deal without digging myself in a hole underwater. The salesman that helped me (Charles Lozano) did everything he could to make it a simple and easy transition. I explained to him that I recently purchased a house and found it necessary to own a truck instead of the car anymore. After looking through some lists and talking it over with his manager he came to me with the keys to a beautiful 2014 Silverado half ton and let me test drive it, the ride went smooth and so did the numbers. I drove off with the truck that night but asked for the leather upgrade for the interior so about a week after my new purchase they had me bring the truck back in, signed me out a lender and sent it off to have the leather installed. When I got the truck back the interior was perfect and they even filled the tank and shined it up for me again. I've already been down for my first service appointment as well, my experience was a 10 out of 10, not only did they service the truck for me but again they washed it up for me. I couldn't be happier with demontrond and I'm sure next time I buy I will be heading their way again. I would and already have recommended demontrond to a friend and more specifically Charles, my sales rep. Good job guys and keep up the hard work, that's what keeps customers returning.

    The staff was very helpful from the finance department on down in finding the car I wanted with all the equipment I wanted. They shopped around for the best interest rate. Our experience with our salesman Mr. Fred Penny was very enjoyable and professional he went above and beyond to help us get into the car we wanted. I would would definitely buy from Demontrond again!!!!

    I was completely surprised that the Finance person(Amy) was able to get me financed on such a nice truck. She did EXACTLY what she said she would do and not only got me financed but at an extremely low rate considering my credit score. Also, We were driving away sooner that I had thought considering how long it normally takes to do the entire process.

    While I enjoyed the shopping experience I was disappointed t9 find I was not kept in the loop with financing and the numbers I aseed for until papers were being signed.

    Initially had an issue with the salesman but when the GM got involved he cleared up the confusion and made my experience very enjoyable. I am very pleased.

    No big haggling over price. Stood by the price that was a good price and gave me that price. Guys did a good job of showing me everything about my new truck. I needed to get my old truck back to my house as I did not what to trade it in. They drove my truck to my house and I brought the guy back which was a big help to me. Good deal all around!! Thanks!!!

  • NO Internet Sales Information but great dealership test drive

    For approximately 3 weeks, I requested informatoin via the internet. To this day, I have not received said information. I called one day and the receptionist was so sweet and hospitable. I stopped by the dealership one day to test drive a vehicle I was considering. I was met at the door by a salesperson. The salesperson didn't communicate as to what he was doing, but he was gone for quite awhile with my DL and insurance. I became concerned as I stood around the showroom floor for awhile. I would hope there were customer waiting chairs somewhere, I just didn't see them, wasn't directed, and didn't ask. I finally asked the gentlemen who are about 12 feet in the air when standing on a platform where he was. That big platform is kind of overwhelming. You feel like you have to stretch your neck to talk to them, seriously. Eventually he returned and I test drove. This dealership interaction was extremely relaxed and low pressure. Although other dealerships had told me about the 72 hour special, this dealer did not mention it, although he was wearing a '72' pin on his shirt. If the vehicle was right for me, I would have purchased from this dealership. The dealership is neat, clean, and has that hometown feeling. Additionally, they appeared to have a large inventory of every model.
